Ahri woke with a start, having dozed off into a nightmare for the second time that day. After a moment of brief panic, the man let out a deep sigh. He pushed up from the slumped over position he slept in, a soft whimper escaping him as one of his muscles cramped uncomfortably. He moved a hand behind his neck to rub at the muscle as he stood, stepping out of the dark of his shelter. He figured he'd be better off collecting herbs, that way he wouldn't fall asleep quite as easily.
The sun burned his eyes as he stepped into it, moving a hand to rub at them as he let his eyes adjust to the different lighting. He looked around the camp, a bit dazed from only recently waking. He was looking for the familiar sight of his twin but she was no where to be seen, making him worry a bit. He'd have to wait for her return to do anything practical with his time, too fearful to even attempt navigating the forest on his own. He let out another sigh, crouching to wait for his sister. He raised his eyes to the sky, watching as clouds drifted overhead. He wondered just how long he would be waiting, trying to think of a way to pass his time.

After having seen that her brother dozed off into a fitful sleep, Arlo had decided to go hunting. She was itching with boredom and she hadn't the heart to wake her twin so, with her bow slung over one shoulder, she headed out. The grounder already had an idea of where she should go, heading to a creek and climbing up the towering branches of a tree.
Once she was situated on a sturdy branch, well out of sight, she waited. While river snakes posed a threat, all animals needed water. She'd just have to work fast so that none of the giant beasts stole her kill. She leaned back against the trunk of the tree, using a small knife to whittle away at a stick while she waited.
After a much longer time than she had anticipated, a two-headed deer slowly emerged from the woods. Arlo smirked, quickly sheathing her knife and pulling her bow off her back. In a swift movement, she nocked the arrow and aimed. As the deer moved closer, Arlo drew the string of her bow back. With a soft exhale, she released the arrow and watched as it flew directly into one eye, through the first head, and then through the second. She grinned, swinging down from branch to branch before dropping to the ground.

The sound of metal woke Young from a sleep he didn't remember falling into. He jumped in his seat, quickly whipping his head from side to side to make sense of the situation.
"What the..." He mumbled softly, bringing a hand to his head as if it could soothe his pounding headache. As he looked around, he realized that the people he was among were his fellow inmates.
Oh great... A field trip... He thought, his stomach sinking as he realized that whatever was happening was bad news.
He brought a hand to his mouth, chewing on his nails nervously. What had they done to deserve this? To be sent to an inevitable death? They were all just children. He took in a shaky breath, beginning to panic. His horror only continued to grow when he recalled his father talking about the council sending prisoners to Earth. If he didn't die from his nerves alone, he knew that the impact of the crash or the toxic air would kill him, the though sent a shiver down his spine.
