Through the window I see no star:
Something more near
Though deeper within darkness
Is entering the loneliness:
Cold, delicately as the dark snow,
A fox’s nose touches twig, leaf;
Two eyes serve a movement,
that now
And again now, and now, and now
Rabbits live and travel in warrens.
Asha thought, prickling in annoyance as Fredrick disturbed her thoughts. She knew perfectly well that something Fredrick would say if she voiced her knowledge, would go along the lines of, "Alright, we don't need a walking encyclopedia here" or something. Letting out a faint moan that was nearly inaudible to human ears, Asha got up and shuffled to her bed, her feet not leaving the ground. Plunging down onto the bed, Asha started to massage her eyes, then her ears quickly and carelessly. Goes well with my red hair, doesn’t it? She was glad that she ditched her glasses and -8 prescription for a pair of working fox eyes that never seemed to go bad even at it's most tired moment, however even if her capabilities of sense was strengthened, she was still not impressed by the majority of the situation of being prodded and poked, and experimented on.
