Hormones? What did that have to do with anything? Of course Fredrick's mind could not register that hormones would most likely add to the poison she would secrete. No, Fredrick's mind was too simple to realize the connection, so he instead sat with his back against the wall, pondering for only a few moments before a flash in the corner of his eyes went off. Red.
Fredrick's eyes narrowed slightly, but besides that there was no change. This was, after all, a normal occurence so he just assumed he would question the rest of the group, who at the moment appeared to be mute for he hadn't heard more than a peep out of most of them, later. Speaking about missions while in the presence of one of the doctors would most likely backfire on them all, in some way or other.
And so with that decided, Fredrick shut his trap, leaving Sophie's last comment hanging in the air.

Feet propped up on the desk, Fabian Kelley sipped at his Diet Coke, all the while eying the cameras that were taping the Experiments. The sound was muted for the surgeon was listening to the radio playing in the background, yet something caught his attention. They were moving a lot more than usual, and almost in sync. Were they speaking with each other?
Eyebrow furrowing, Fabian leaned forward and placed his elbows on his knees in an attempt to get a closer look at the monitors in front of him, for something had happened. From what he'd seen in the past, most of them would have been asleep by now, though the Rhino/Frog Experiment had the excuse of being drugged and thus being more active was a given. And if they were indeed communicating to each other, what was it about? The bottom of the can touched the desk as Fabian placed it down, intending to turn up the sound and try to understand what all was happening.
That's when the green flash above one of the monitors turned blinked once and changed to a bright red. Ah, it seemed that he would have to do it tonight; all the others were sleeping or working on a new project of theirs in another lab. A sigh escaped his jaw, the curiosity and worry from only a few moments ago already pushed aside to contain this new chore. His hands gripped the arms of the chair as he pushed himself upwards, and soon had card key in hand and was walking out of the surveillance room.
The room that held them was only a good minute walk from where the monitors were, which allowed the workers to act fast if something happened to arise, so it didn't take long for Fabian to reach the door and flash the badge in front of the sensor. The familiar click echoed through the empty hallway and the surgeon pushed his way through into the unlit room. A dim light turned on near the middle of the hallway once he took his first step forward, and another right next to it with the next. These dim lights continued to turn on as he walked, hands in pockets, until he was able to pause in front of the Experiment's cage. Indeed the red light was going off near the top of the door.
"Come."
Another quick flash of the badge and the door swung inwards into the cage. Fabian was not one to wait however, and he automatically started walking back down the isle. She was more docile than the others so he feared not for his safety, though just in case all the workers had a small flashdrive-shaped item that had the same purpose as a taser, though much stronger. For a moment the twenty-eight year old glanced back over his shoulder, watching to make sure she followed him. Their destination was a door not too far away, one that led to a courtyard that contained a drain for this purpose.
