Username: Paledawn
Character's Name: Caroline Hutch
Gender: Female
Age: 16
DNA: Panther. Her hands and feet are larger, with rough, almost pad-like bottoms. Her pupils are slits, and she refuses to look into a mirror for seeing what has happened to them. Her muscles are hard and show much more than they did before, especially in her legs. There are large black claws where nails used to be, and black fuzz showing in random patches.
Appearance: She deems herself a monster, and refuses to leave her room without a large black cloak that covers everything on her. No one knows what her body looks like underneath, except her prey, for she only opens it to give her arms room to slash. When she pulls away her hood, yellow slitted eyes gleam under a mess of black hair. Her ears are round and covered in fuzz. There are multiple scars on her face from being beaten by her parents and bullied by her peers. She only removes her hood if she trusts the person who wants to see her face.
Personality: She acts shy to her peers, refusing to speak to them and always sitting by herself. In truth, she is hiding a very strong girl underneath. She was not simply picked to be a panther, she got her way by smuggling in a knife and holding it to the throat of an unarmed general. They agreed not because they were worried for his safety, but because tests had shown that she was perfect for the procedure and they couldn't risk losing her. After that, she allowed the scientists to do whatever they wished, and followed every command. She doesn't try to cause trouble, but always somehow manages to drag herself into tight situations. More than once she's heard some speaking of her "removal", but she ignores them. She is a fantasy nerd and carries a brown book around with her. No one except her knows what lies within.
History: Being born the thirteenth daughter of a thirteenth son never gives you great feelings. In her early life, she was happy, although the rest of her family wasn't. Her father was 57 when she was born, her mother 26. All off her siblings were half brothers and sisters, to herself and to each other. After the seventh child had been born, nobody could remember who their father was, so they just went along with whoever had helped their mom have the latest addition to the family. John, Caroline's dad, was a sweet old man. He loved his daughter dearly, but left the family when she was only three because he couldn't take the stress of it. After that, their mom fell ill, and soon every child was up for adoption. Caroline and two of her brothers were taken in by a family who already had seventeen adopted children, with a new one coming every year. All of the children guessed it was because the man and wife were always drunk, and beating on the poor kids. Caroline, the slowest runner, was usually left behind by her siblings. In the end, they were all sent to the military, but as far as Caroline knows, she was the only one to have survived.
