Too many minutes of eerie silence between the two have passed as the street carried on its usual business. Although peculiar peeks and stares were thrown towards her for standing awkwardly in the middle of the pathway, nobody for minutes dared to interrupt the two. "What do you want with me?" She asked with a silent voice, the words barely escaping the tip of her mouth. A response came back very quickly "We wish for someone as powerful as you to join us." Recruitment? Was that their true goal with this or is this just a deceptive lie. Izumi couldn't tell. But as time passed on with no response from the Izumi, the figure grew mildly impatient and started to institute pain into her body. The girl could only hope for some interference between the two. Her wish did indeed after a few seconds come into reality.
Someone, thankfully, noticed the irregularity of the girl and the scarlet hooded figure and called him out. It was at that point when, momentarily, Izumi managed to regain control over her body once more. This was his mistake. A big one as without any hesitation, Izumi directed her hands towards a nearby fire hydrant, then after swiftly moving her fingers upwards, she forced the water to explode out the hydrant far into the city air, making a distraction for the blood-bender as well as giving attention of the street towards them. But before she finished this, her eyes observed the lack of the blood-bender's presence. He must have slipped. But how? She only looked away for a few seconds... Her face, however, turned to the boy who helped her. A thankful smile was directed towards him. She couldn't speak just yet. The pain was only dissipating just now.
