Trix smiled. "Ask Xaria. She'll walk you through it." He walked over to Grace, taking her hand. "Let's get more fruit. They'll help if we run out of water in the desert." He pulled her away gently.

Grace titled her head and asked, "Why do we need to get fruit? I'm tired and still wet, plus we can get fruit tomorrow." She trailed behind Trix, letting him pull her away but still confused. Grace turned her head back to Xaria and Alex, wondering what was going on.

Alex looked at Grace and shook his head, saying that it was nothing. He saw her turn back to Trix, clearly not satisfied with his answer. Alex left Trix with Grace and turned around to Xaria, "I'm gonna try and treat your ankle, help me?"

Trix turned to Grace as soon as they were out of earshot. "Xaria's hurt her ankle and she doesn't want us to know. So we're going to pretend we don't know and Alex is going to fix her up." He explained quickly as he put some distance between them.

Xaria smiled, nodding. "What were you talking to Trix about?" She asked curiously as she handed him the stiff bandages.

Grace nodded, "Oh. But why does she not want us to know?" Grace jogged up next to Trix so she wasn't being dragged along. She still held his hand and looked at him curiously.

Alex kneeled down, motioning for her to do the same, "Oh nothing. He was just saying that he was going to take Grace out to collect friut." At least that isn't a lie, Alex thought.

Trix sighed. "Because she thinks we'll slow down and she wants to speed up instead, since she's tired of travelling." He looked back, frowning slightly.

Xaria sat down, pulling her skirt up slightly to let him bandage her ankle for her. "Just wrap the bandage around. And make sure it's tight." She said quietly.

Grace shrugged, "Well, she does kinda have a point. I wouldn't want to slow down if we were this close to Astrial." Grace listened to the leaves crunch under her shoes as brown and yellow leaves fell from the half bare autome trees. The air was crisp and fresh, the perfect tempature for a srtoll through the woods collecting fruit. It wasn't too cold, or too hot, just how Grace liked it. Unfortunately, she knew that this weather was soon to be over once they entered the desert.

Alex nodded and bent down on the forest ground, making a crunch from the leaves. He carefully wrapped the bandage around her swollen ankle, making sure it was tight. Alex finished and leaned back, flexing his hands which hurt from wrapping it so tight, "There, done." He was a little worried that he wrapped it too hard, so he asked, "Is it too tight? I can loosen it if you want."

Trix smiled. "I understand her point... I just don't like that she put herself through all that pain." He said, stopping. "How long do you think it'll take for him to wrap up her ankle?" He asked, biting his lip worriedly. He wanted to get to Astrial just as much as they did. He was curious.

Xaria winced. "Loosen it just a little." She said, her foot going numb. She smiled, gripping her knee to her chest. She bit her lip slightly to stop herself from making a noise.

Grace tried to picture Alex wrapping Xaria's ankle, "Um, five more minutes... maybe three?" she guessed. Grace let go of Trix's hand to go pick a handful of blueberries. "We can't say we went to go pick friut and come back empty handed," she pointed out when she walked back from the bush.

Alex felt heat rush to his head as he blushed and quickly loosened the wrapping. He finished and asked, "Is that better?" Alex leaned back on his heels, more leaves crunching under his weight.

Trix shrugged. "True..." He said softly, kneeling down beside her. He took off his jacket, realising they'd forgotten the sacks. He sighed, putting the blueberries on his jacket in a small pile.

Xaria smiled, nodding. "Yeah... Thanks." She said softly, pushing herself to her feet and smiling. There was a small prick of pain but it was bareable, like biting your lip or something similar.

Grace plopped her handful into his jacket and started to pick some more. Eventually, she got bored and said, "Well this isn't fun at all." She got up and dusted her hands, making a clapping noise that echoed the tinniest bit. Grace wanted to enjoy this wonderful weather while they still had it. She jumped on a boulder and started to walk across it, her hands spread beside her to keep balance.

Alex nodded and stood also and asked Xaria, "When do you think Trix and Grace will come back from collecting friut?" He felt comfortable with this group now, considering how nervous he was when he lost his memory. Alex's gaze drifted to the leaf covered ground and wondered if he would ever regain his memories, he wanted to know what happened in his past, and how he ended up with this lot. He snapped back into attentioon and looked back at Xaria, waiting for an answer.
