[Midnight Butterfly]

Xaria reached up, wiping away a tiny tear. She had thought she'd run out of tears but obviously not. The strange emptiness in her heart was really starting to get to her and she couldn't keep all her feeling of despair in anymore.

Trix shrugged. "Maybe an hour, since we're walking and all." He estimated thoughtfully.

Grace groaned and took his hand, "Well, at least I have company." She thought about how far they came from the mansion, "Wow, we only have one city left and then Astrial."

Alex frowned and kicked the pebble harder this time. It flew forward and landed near Xaria. He sighed and dlooked around for another pepple, not caring to get the old one.

Trix smiled, nodding. "I know, right?" He squeezed her hand slightly, sighing. "We're past the halfway point by now..." He said, amazed by how far they'd actually gone.

Xaria jumped lightly, her eyes wide and slightly swollen from her silent tears. She glanced at Alex quickly, wondering if he'd done it on purpose.

Gace nodded and asked, curious, "What do you think it will be like once we get ot Astrial?"

Alex didn't see Xaria, he was focased on the ground. He found another pepple and kicked it some more, trying to do something with his time.

Trix shrugged. "I don't know. If anyone did, it'd be you." He pointed out with a smile. "We'll see when we get there, I suppose..." He said, looking at the light sky.

Xaria bit her lip as a hiccup escaped her throat. She cursed quietly before hiccuping again. She had been crying too much and this tended to happen when she did cry too much.

Grace thought back to when she was there, "I guess I'll be escorted away from you guys to get ready for the corrination. Then I'll be corrinated and become queen or something like that." Grace shrugged, "But that's just my guess."

"I suppose so..." Trix replied thoughtfully. "I wonder what it looks like." He said, thinking about it and trying to imagine what the city looked like.

Xaria sighed, hiccuping lightly afterwards. Her shoulders jumped slightly after every one.

Grace smiled, "There is a lot of green." She placed her head on his shoulder and looked out into the distance. Grace knew her mom was watching over them, only to help if they were in major trouble. "Hey... I bet they have some herb for memory lose at Astrial."

"I hope so..." Trix muttered. "I don't like seeing Xaria like this." He said, glancing over at the heartbroken girl leading Romeo. He sighed, looking back at the horizon.

"Neither do I," Grace said, keeping her eyes forward. She saw a glimps of green, "Hey, I think I see the forest," Grace pointed ahead to where she saw the trees.
