[Midnight Butterfly]

Xaria smiled sadly. She didn't exactly know what to say and was glad when they finally left the city, sighing. Romeo fell into step beside Abia and she looked over at Trix and Grace.

Alex instantly shut his mouth, feeling stupid. He leaned back and turned his head away from Trix and Grace, "Sorry..." Alex whispered.

Grace saw Alex and chuckled softly to herself. She stopped Abia when she thought they were far enough away from the city. Grace jumped out of the saddle and held the reins for Trix to get off.

Xaria jumped off Romeo quickly, as if she couldn't bare for Alex to touch her. She held Romeo's reins, patting his nose gently. She looked over to watch as Trix jumped off Abia. "Where are we going next?" She asked softly, hoping it wasn't another desert.

Trix looked over at his sister and shrugged. "I don't know... Grace?"

Grace pulled out the map and handed it to Trix, not able to look at it while holding Abia. She saw Alex follow Xaria out of the saddle and she beckoned him over, "We're seeing where we are going next." Alex nodded but didn't say anything.

Trix glanced over the map, nodding as he examined it. "We go north and we should get to a forest..." He said, folding up the old map carefully and handing it back. "Shall we ride or make our own way?" He asked.

Xaria shrugged. "We'd go faster if just me and Grace rode..." She mumbled.

Grace looked over at Abia, "I think the horses need and break, we should walk." She patted Abia's neck and smiled, "Plus we haven't walked in a long time."

Alex groaned inside his head when he hear Xaria, I'm such an idiot. He almost smacked his forehead but forced himself not to.

Xaria nodded, taking Romeo's reins in her hand. "Let's get going then." She said quietly, taking a handful of berries from a saddlebag and starting to eat slowly.

Trix smiled, yawning slightly. The sun wasn't up very high yet and it was still cool out. It was too early to be awake in his opinion.

Grace nodded and pulled Abia north. She looked back to see if the others were following. She saw Alex walking slowly and wondered what was wrong. Grace pushed the thought away and focased on getting to Astrial.

Trix started to walk north, keeping his eyes on the horizon for any hint of greenery that meant the forest they were hopefully heading towards.

Xaria bit her lip, finishing the berries with a small sigh. She led Romeo after them, the horse's hooves thumping softly on the dirt road.

Grace slowed her pace so she would be in step with Trix, "Hey, how long until the forest, you think?"

Alex trailed behind them all, now suddenly feeling alone. He wished he never lost his memory in the first place. Alex kicked a pebble along as he walked, bored.
