Trix nodded. "It'll look odd if we come in a group of four but leave as three, right?" He said, climbing on behind her with a small smile. "Let's go."

Xaria nodded silently, urging Romeo into a trot towards out of town. She sighed, feeling him behind her and annoyed at herself for liking how it felt to have him there when he didn't love her anymore.

Grace smiled and kicked Abia into a trot, following Grace and Alex. She wanted to get out of the city as soon as possible, she remembered vividly what happened the last time.

Alex tightened his grip when the started to move. He felt awkward holding on to someone so tight when he barley knew them, but if he didn't Alex would fall onto the stone ground.

Trix sighed happily as they got closer and closer to the barrier. "Come on... A little longer left to go..." He mumbled quietly to himself, hoping nothing would happen.

Xaria bit her lip sadly, shutting her eyes to try ignore the warm feeling she got as his arms tightened. She reached up to cover her mouth and smother a tiny sob.

Alex saw Xaria cover her mouth and asked, a little worried, "Hey, um, are you okay?" He shifted his eyes from the fast moving ground to Xaria's face.

Xaria kept her eyes on the horizon, nodding bravely but a little stiffly. "I'm fine..." She whispered quietly, returning her hands to the reins. She bit her lip gently.

Alex shook his head, "I know I barely know you... but you seem pretty nice and seeing you sad makes me feel like I did something..." He frowned, "So, um, did I do something wrong?"

Xaria frowned. "So Trix and Grace didn't explain?" She asked, uncertainly. She was sure they would after she'd run away from him the night before.

Alex shrugged, "Um, they said something about being in love or something..." He thought hard about that, trying to find some memory of love. He found a glimps of happiness and some sort of feeling that he felt with Xaria. "And I remember..." Alex muttered. "I think I actually remember that..."

"So they did explain..." Xaria mumbled. "And from that, you can figure out what's wrong." She told him curtly, her mouth snapping shut. A tiny spark of hope shone in her eyes at his words but she didn't let it get her hopes up too much in case they came crashing down.

"Oh... okay, I get it know," Alex said, connecting the pieces together. "I'm really sorry I lost my memory, I guess it was something I ate. I understand why I loved you, I guess. Your a great person and seem really nice..." Alex continued, his voice dropping as he went along.
