Grace nodded, "Right." she started to wrap bandages around her arm and torso. "Why are you made a Alex?" she asked.

Alex snorted, "Yeah right, did you see the way she looked at me. Hatred for sure." he said. "I hope she gets back to normal soon..." his tone switching from anger to worry.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Xaria flinched slightly. "He gave me all these cuts and bruises..." She explained, her eyes clouding with fear. She was beginning to get tired now and let out a soft yawn.

Trix rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Yes, I saw. That was fear, for sure. She's my sister, remember? I can tell you for a fact that she doesn't hate you. As much as she tries to act like she does, she really doesn't."

Grace shook her head, "No he didn't, I was with him the whole time, he couldn't have." she finished wrapping Xaria and said, "There, done."

Alex sighed, "Fine. She is scared of me, which is just as bad." he said stubbornly. "Do you think they made her think that I hurt her? So she might go back to them because she is too scared of me?"

"I distinctly remember him hitting me and yelling at me..." Xaria said, dubious. "I don't think I would forget something like that, nor would I make it up..." She said quietly. She pulled up her skirt so Grace could bandage up her legs.

Trix sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's possible... We just have to figure out how so we can try and get her back to normal.

Grace started to wrap her legs, "Alex loved you, why would he do that to you? I bet they brain washed you into thinking that." Grace explained, "So you would run away in fear right back into the mansion."

Alex punched a tree in frustration, "Stupid master! Why doe-" he was interrupted by Grace.

"Hey! Don't hurt that tree because you're mad! Take it out on something not alive, like a rock!" Grace snapped at him, feeling the pain of the tree.

Alex looked down, "Sorry, Grace." he said, ashamed.

Trix chuckled lightly, his eyes amused. "I think you'll find, he is our ex-master..." He said, dropping his arms.

Xaria winced as the gauze was tightened on her leg. "I don't know... How would they brainwash me?"

So they will have you in their clutches again." Grace said, "I mean, you did make a killer chicken soup." Grace laughed.

Alex nodded, "Your probably right..." he frowned and glanced at Xaria, "I hope she gets back to normal, I miss her..."

Xaria laughed lightly, a soft smile touching her face. "I suppose..." She said, shrugging. She stood up, going over to the water's edge before sitting down again. She relived the memory and found something odd. Alex's voice in her memory sounded different to the sound of the Alex standing over there.

Trix smiled at the sound of his sister's laughter but stayed silent. He turned to Alex. "Everything'll be fine. We need to get that collar off her though."

Grace nodded and went over to the boys, thinking Xaria needed a little alone time to think. "What are you guys doing?" she asked.

Alex looked up at Grace, "Thinking about how we can get the collar off Xaria."

Xaria lay back onto the soft grass, looking up at the blue sky as she thought. She glanced over at the group and bit her lip, wondering what they were talking about before sighing. Curiosity overwhelmed her and she got up, catching her brother's next words.

"Any ideas?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest. Xaria blinked owlishly before Trix noticed her. "We're trying to figure out a way of removing your collar." She nodded, her fingers coming up to touch the cool metal.
