Grace and Alex hurried through the servants door, they stopped in a corner and waited for Trix. Grace pressed harder on her wound, trying to stop the bleeding. Alex frantically looked down the hallway for Xaria, no luck. He frowned and looked for Trix.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Trix flew through the doorway, landing as a human. He looked around worriedly. "Where is she?" He hissed under his breath.

Alex shrugged, "Probably in the basement. That's where they put prisoners."

"Great. Just great. How are we supposed to get down there?" Grace questioned. "Guards are posted there 24/7. We'll never get passed them!"

[Midnight Butterfly]

Trix groaned quietly, messing up his own hair in frustration. "I can get in... But not out again with Xaria." He said, knowing that the guards won't care if a mouse or rat found it's way in.

Grace had an idea, "I can wrap the guards with vines so they can't warn anyone?"

Alex nodded, "That would be good." he looked at Trix. "Is that okay with you?"

[Midnight Butterfly]

Trix nodded. "Right... Grab the keys too..." He said, his fingers twitching nervously. He wanted to get out of here as quickly as possible.

Grace nodded and headed to the stairs. When she got there, she took a deep breath and thrust her hands forward. The windows shattered as vines burst threw. They wrapped around the guards before they could ring the alarm. They fell down on the floor and Grace tightened the vines so they couldn't get free. She relaxed and stumbled, it took a lot of energy, she fainted and fell to the ground exhausted.

Alex watched in amazement at Grace, he grabbed the keys and gave them to Trix so he could open the cell. Then he heard Grace fall, he whipped around and saw her on collapsed on the floor. He tapped Trix on the shoulder, he pointed at Grace and looked at him with panic. "I guess wrapping the guards took to much energy when she already lost so much blood." he whispered to him, not wanting to be heard.

Trix handed Alex back the keys, going over to Grace. "Go get Xaria..." He muttered, picking up Grace in his arms gently. He regretted letting her do that, even for the sake of his sister.

Alex nodded and hurried down the stairs, "Xaria? Xaria, where are you?" he hissed. He looked in cells, most of them were empty, but some had people in them. Alex repeated, "Xaria! Where are you?"

Grace wasn't aware of Trix picking her up, she blacked out and went limp.

Trix stood at the doorway, looking out for guards and such. Grace was limp in his arms and he held her gently to his chest.

Xaria was so intent on blocking out pain that she didn't hear him calling for her. Her eyes were glazed over as she lay on the floor of her cell.
