- Seeing that her warning was more or less ignored caused the leader to give a roll of her eyes. Where were her guards when she needed them to take care of things like this? It was already bad enough that someone had barged in, but to not listen? Now that was even worse. It was a real annoyance. It seemed like her words wouldn't have any real effect in this situation given how it had already gone. Sure this man may have come to help them with the clone problem but that did not mean that they should be okay with him coming into this area. Huffing softly, she glanced sideways at Kit. She seemed interested in the flaaffy the man had and even stated that it was a clone. Maybe her own interested should be piqued too, but she couldn't help but feel annoyed. How could someone not have known they had caught a clone to begin with? They were what Acrea was known for at this point and even though the region housed species of pokemon from all the other regions they were in very small numbers. Pushing the thought off, she decided it was best to take her leave now. Ignoring Spark for the moment, she figured she should address the young scientist first. "If you wish to come with me then you are more than welcome, but I shall leave this to you right now. I have other things I must attend to before I am able to leave," she said.
Averting her gaze back to Spark momentarily, Millicent stayed silent, her eyes becoming momentarily cold before she moved her gaze away once again. This was probably the best time to leave now that she had made up her mind on what she was going to do. "Well, I shall be upstairs if you need me." Deciding to take her leave, the Team Clone leader strode past Spark without another word to be said. She had nothing to say to him nor did she feel like addressing him. It seemed unbefitting for her. She could introduce herself, but she felt no need to. She should be important enough to be known and if he had seen any of the debriefing then he already knew anyways or maybe he hadn't been listening. Who knows. It wasn't something she needed to worry about. Moving past him, she glanced back towards the meeting area but she could barely make out what was still there. She could only hope that Felix wasn't around to see her sneaking off. Pushing the thought from her mind, she made her way down the hallway to the elevator and clicked the button to wait for it to come. When it did, she stepped inside and hit the button for the fifteenth floor.
It wasn't long before the doors slid open again and marked her arrival. With a smile growing on her face, Milli exited the elevator and entered the large lab that sat before her. It was a bright room that was devoid of others. On all sides it had plenty of windows which allowed her to look out at the city even though the building was much shorter than others in the city. That never bothered her. She just enjoyed being able to look out and seeing what was happening down below. It was a relaxing sight to her. Standing before the windows she quietly crossed her arms across her chest and stared out at the city before her with a smile upon her face.

- Giving a light shrug of his shoulders, Gold figured he wouldn't be traveling much any time soon. This was the one rare time he'd let himself go out of Johto and not just to Kanto either. Going to the neighboring region wasn't that big of a deal. He was at least in flying distance if he needed to get back. Here he was a great deal away from his home region and it was much harder to get back if he wanted to. He couldn't let himself get worried about that now though. Nothing bad would happen in Johto while he was away. It wasn't as if anything bad had happened in quite some time to begin with. Worrying himself with the safety of his own region would only distract him from the task at hand. Once it was over then he would be able to go back to his life back in Johto and there would be no worries of a clone of his trusty legendary companion. Pushing the thoughts to the back of his mind, the champion looked back at Grace as typhlosion moved to his side. Averting his gaze to his companion, a small smirk crossed his lips and he reached a hand out to gently stroke the top of the starter's head, but instead of petting the fire type, the typhlosion playfully rammed its head into Gold's chest with a soft grunt. Chuckling softly, Gold pushed the pokemon away before allowing his gaze to move back to Grace in time to hear what she had to say about sticking together.
To his surprise she had flat out called him cute. Was she really repaying the compliment like that? It was people like this that definitely didn't deserve to be soiled by the likes of him, but there was no turning away now. She had walked right into a roller coaster of a ride and there would be no easy way out. He wouldn't completely tell her that though. She'd find out one her own though maybe a warning wouldn't . Composing himself once again, Gold let an amused hum escape his lips. "Cute you say? You sure about that one now? Calling me cute is a dangerous path to walk down," he remarked. Most of the time when he threw out compliments in the manner he had he either expected to be on the receiving end of a punch or slap to the face. Maybe he had spent too much time with Crystal though. She always was willing to wail on him for his flirtatious mannerisms and he never tried to stop her though he had become quite skilled at avoiding her oncoming attacks. It really kept him on his toes. "But if you're game for that then you best know I only play games I know I can win."
Those words oozed with confidence, proving that he was more than ready to do or say to make sure he came out victorious in his own little game. He almost felt bad for tempting to drag her into such a thing, but he had to remind himself that she not only had approached him but called him cute. That fault was entirely on her and not him. At least he was giving the warning he was. Most times he wouldn't even offer such a thing. He'd just jump right in and things tended to end poorly. Realizing he had strayed the topic away from the pokemon, Gold snapped back to reality and decided to take a brief detour back to the conversation that had been going on. "Heh, right. Not sure if water types warm up to me all that quickly. Or should I say water type starters," he remarked with a playful smile upon his face. His experience with them never had been all too great. Silver's feraligatr was the prime example of that. Even Red's blastoise hadn't been overly fond of him when they had battled. "Typhlosion albeit fiery, isn't too hard to get along. Just don't tick him off and things should be good." Glancing at his starter, he heard the fire type let out a soft huff of annoyance with his words before it turned its head away to avoid looking at him.

- There was no use in trying to explain how his gym functioned when he was gone given how she moved away so quickly. It'd take too much unneeded effort to try and explain it anyways and he really didn't feel like giving such at the moment. If she really wanted to learn about it then she could read up on it on her own without his assistance. His gym was the only one that functioned in such a manner so there was plenty of studies being done on it by others to see if his idea could be used to function in other gyms as well when leaders needed to take leave. It'd be hard to say it would given how strict he was on letting trainers in to begin with. It made it much easier to run his gym in such a manner. Pushing the thought off, Blue heard her begin to get angry over what he had said and he scoffed softly with a shake of his head. She could hate his words all she wanted, but if she truly thought she was stronger than he was then she was sorely mistaken. That was an argument that he'd let be at rest now though. He had no reason to need to prove himself anyways. He had done it more than enough over the years and that was why he was always invited the important competitions in other regions. They acknowledged his strength as one of Kanto's best alongside Red. Anyone who thought about it would be able to tell he was strong simply knowing the fact that he and Red were rivals and he was sure there were very few that hadn't heard of Red. Sure that meant he was automatically put as number two, but he'd take that over not being seen as a strong trainer any day. He wouldn't let anyone think otherwise of him. Realizing he had drifted too far into his thoughts and missed her answering her question on why he had come into this situation, Blue gave a slight shrug of his shoulders. Like she needed to know why he was here anyways. Nosy people didn't need to know his intentions in the first place. He would most definitely classify her under such.
Thinking over what she had said about him needing to figure out how to get himself out of this only resulted in an eye roll. She was definitely underestimating him. How pathetic. He wouldn't need her help nor had he wanted it anyways. When had he ever needed anyone's help? Never. If anything he had been the one pushing Red to become stronger all those years ago and he was the one helping. Not to mention his approach with his gym also supported that idea of him wanting to help trainers test their true strength. It was why he refused to take challengers until they had the seven other gym badges. It allowed him to truly test trainers that sought to challenge the elite four and to push them to their limits before they even got there. In a way it made him suited to take over his grandfather's role as professor of Kanto, but Blue hated he thought. A life of supporting other trainers and helping them grow was not one he wished to pursue. If he did drop his gym leader position it would not be to become a professor and give up his life as a true trainer. He had worked too hard to do that and he always had wanted to step out of his grandfather's shadow to become someone in his own merit. He was positive he had done that by now as both a champion and a gym leader. Giving his head a small shake, Blue figured he needed to stop letting these things get to him right now. It really wasn't an ideal time to be getting lost in such ideas when he was deep in Team Clone's base. He still had to stop Suzume from pursuing his flareon before she did something stupid. Such a task seemed impossible given the way she acted. It was beyond irritating. Why must she be so stubborn? He must be a hypocrite for thinking in such a manner though. He too was far too stubborn for his own good. It was a quality many hated in him yet he refused to budge on it.
Sighing softly, Blue began moving forward in silence keeping Suzume within his sight line. When he caught her slipping into a room, he knew exactly what she was doing. She hadn't been in the room for long enough to read anything that would have been inside and from the way she was acting it was clear she was trying to hide something. Stealing information like that hadn't been apart of his plan nor was he going to just let her slip away with it. Even if she didn't get caught, it would be noticed that the information was taken and for all they knew it could be important that it stayed here. As much as he did not trust Team Clone yet, he knew that they hadn't shown ill intent. Not yet at least. Clones had been around in Acrea for years without problems and only now were striking and causing problems. If they had wanted this to happen it would have long ago. That thought alone made him think that they might be truly on the side of good. He'd have to scold her on stealing later since she was already on the move again. If anything he'd make her put it back. If she wanted to skim it over she could do it here and keep that information in mind. It wasn't that hard to do or maybe he had a knack for remembering such things. He could probably take his old man for that one. All the studying he had done with him had allowed him to remember even the weirdest facts about pokemon. It was a curse and a blessing he supposed. Nevertheless, Blue could never settled for stealing. Dealing with Green had taught him that much. That girl was not only noisy, but she loved to steal. Sure it had come in for good sometimes but that didn't mean it had ever been okay for her to do. Maybe his sense of justice and righteousness was just too strong to see stealing as a useful art.
Pushing those thoughts aside as he finally caught up to the champion again, he noticed she was holding flareon and just from one glance he could see that his pokemon was extremely unhappy being held by a stranger. He could easily give her a warning, but it was probably best to let himself be amused by what was about to come. He knew how flareon got anyways. Then again he should make an attempt to make it less suspicious. "Picking up a random flareon? I hope you-" he began, but it was already too late by then. He could see the annoyance in the eeveelutions eyes and it was only a matter of seconds before it started to heat up its body to protect itself all while wriggling around to break free from Suzume's grasp. To Blue it was beyond amusing. Maybe flareon would teach her a lesson. It would certainly please him. Continuing its struggle, flareon's body already had heated up enough to cause any human to drop it. Maybe that was enough. Surely it had caused the girl enough discomfort for now. Giving his pokemon a discreet look, Blue decided he'd stop his companion, but making sure to avoid giving anything away just yet. It was all fun and games for him anyways.
It wasn't immediately that the flareon stopped. It at least broke free first and dropped to the ground before allowing its temperature to lower again. Even when it did, the eeveelution took off again paying little mind to his trainer as if it knew what kind of game he was playing. Watching him run off, Blue crossed his arms over his chest and allowed his gaze to move to Suzume with a "told you so" kind of look on his face. "Seems like that flareon can sense a thief when it sees one. Did you really think you were being sneaky when taking things from that room? Stealing is one of the worst things you could do right now," he scolded, his eyes narrowing to give a more serious expression. "If you want information without being caught, you take in what you can on the scene. Hell you could even take pictures of it if you have something like that on you. Stealing only puts people on high alert and who knows if this place has cameras set up or not. They'd be after you and I don't think you want an organization that's created those crazy clones to be on you." For once he was showing genuine concern; a rarity for him, but he felt it necessary to get his point across. Maybe she didn't see her act as wrong, but he would make sure he made her feel bad about doing such even if it result in backlash.
"And before you go on to tell me to mind my own business or something like that, I'll have you know that you already messed with my plans to gather information back here and in a much quieter manner," he stated, his voice raising to show his frustration. Usually he was able to keep a level head, but right now he was cracking and it wasn't because of her, but because he could hear the sound of footsteps running from down the hall accompanied by shouts that bounced off the walls. Now everything was about to be soiled. Glancing in the direction from which the sounds had come from, Blue watched as flareon came darting down the hall towards him. He must have drawn attention or maybe there were cameras like he suspected. Either way it was time to flee and even before he was able to gather any information. What a shame. Wrinkling his nose, Blue knew he had little time to strategize. That was never a bad thing though. Thinking on the fly was something he had become awfully good at over time. Knowing now he had to end his little trick, he gave flareon a quick look and in an instant, it turned around and stopped running. "Flareon, you remember what we do to people that get in our way right? Knock em down with quick attack, will ya?" Blue commanded which received a firm nod from the pokemon. Darting forward toward the oncoming clone workers, the flareon pounced at them intense speed. In an instant the three standing workers had all been knocked to the floor by the small fire type who had quickly retreated to stand before its trainer in anticipation of his next command.
Turning his attention to Suzume, a cocky grin crossed the Kanto trainer's face. "Now you said I should worry about myself, but you're the thief around here so you really ought to start running. I can hold my own," he remarked. As much as he hated making an opening for a thief, he figured he'd let his flareon have a little bit of fun. It seemed itching for a battle anyways and he didn't blame it. It had been awhile since he had last brought it anywhere with him and he could only imagine how boring it must have been stuck back at Professor Oak's place with nothing else to do. The least he could do was let his pokemon have a little fun before plotting his own escape. There was no way some simple, low life trainers were going to best him even while he was using a pokemon that hadn't seen a battle in months if not longer. "Now get out of here before I change my mind and decide not to go against everything I just said."
