Fhyrion had been scowling from the instant he actually took a drink of the coffee the waiter had brought him. If there was a greater personal insult than being served bad coffee he certainly couldn't think of it and it was turning an already sour mood positively rotten. He looked up as soon as he heard someone else enter, it was too much to hope for that it would be the same person who made him spend all night waiting near the base of the lighthouse. No, instead it was some random kid he'd never seen before who was entirely too cheerful for the current hour and his mood. "Dunno yet," his voice was gruff and flat, "not sure if I'm gonna be in town much longer." He wasn't interested in being in this region much longer, but decided her could keep that to himself.

When the Alolan Vulpix ran up Harmony immediately crouched down. She balanced the egg carefully in the crook of her arm again so she could use her other hand to pet it. "Well, aren't you friendly? Are you like this with everyone or am I special since you don't see too many other people and pokemon from Alola?" Oda stood still behind her, watching almost warily and inching slightly closer to Harmony when the trainer approached. She looked up and gave the other trainer a smile. "Oh, she's fine! I don't see many Alolan forms out here, she kinda reminds me of home." She stood but slouched as she did so, slightly self conscious of her height. "Are you from Alola? Or have you been there?"

AJ shook her head. "I'm from Unova. I've been to the islands a couple of times. Kitsune here is from one of those trips."
The Pokémon in question yipped again at the mention of her name before moving towards Oda curiously, her head cocked and nose twitching.
AJ sighed, her left hand coming up to cover her face as she crossed her arms over chest.
"Kitsune, I swear you're like a toddler," she grumbled, though there was no mistaking the fond note in her voice.

✣ Lenora arrived at the pokécenter early this morning. She had slept in a tent in the woods just a few miles away from the town. She was wearing her semi-long white coat, it was hugging her small body, covering her black skirt. Her kneehigh socks was a contrast to the pure white coat. Under the coat, she wore her pokébelt with her pokéball on it. They were all Premier balls. It was the pokéball she preferred to use, even though they aren't as good as Ultra balls. Lenora made har way up to the front desk of the Pokécenter and she was greeted by a happy nurse Joy. "What can I do for you?" the sweet nurse asked, giving her a warm, welcoming smile. "I'd love it if you could heal my Pokémon for me, please," Lenora said in a soft tone while she opened up for her coat so she could get to the belt. Nurse Joy nodded and said a simple "Of course" and then found the tray for the Pokéballs to sit in. When Lenora had handed over the Pokéball she turned around and looked at the many people in the Pokécenter. "There sure are a lot of people around..." she thought to herself before turning her attention back to Nurse Joy. The nurse was on her way back with a smile on her face like always. When she got all the way back to Lenora, she started talking about the pokémons health and how good they were doing. They stood there chatting for a while before the nurse asked if it was possible for her to see the Luxray Lenora had. "I had plans on letting Laxus out anyway so of course, you can see him" Lenora replied in a happy tone. She grabbed Laxus's pokéball and used it so the big, shiny Luxray appeared. He let out a small roar as a greeting. Nurse Joy couldn't help but walking out from behind the desk to give Laxus a closer inspection. "He's really a big sized fella, isn't he - and in such a good condition as well - you must take really good care of all of your Pokémon," the nurse said while walking back behind the desk again. Lenora thanked nurse Joy many times, while she added the remaining pokéball back to her belt. "I try and do my best at least" she then said with a big smile. Nurse Joy replied with "Then they can't ask for more of you. You have a nice festival now, take care" Lenora nodded and started to walk over to the pc corner, Laxus was hot on her heels as soon as she started moving. She wanted to check up on some of her other pokémon while she was here anyway. When she was done she could fell her tummy rumble a little bit. She looked over at Laxus and asked him "I'm guessing you and the others are hungry too?". They made their way over to the eating hall. There was a lot of people around but lucky for Lenora some people were leaving so she took their table. She got Laxus to come closer to her, so she could open one of the bags on his harness. She only took that thing off him when they were sleeping or when they were training/fighting. She quickly pulled out different types of pokémon food and six plastic bowls. She poured the food in the different bowls and handed one down to Laxus who had found a spot on the side, on the floor. He started eating as soon as the bowl hit the ground. Lenora simply smiled before letting her other five pokémons out so they could eat as well. Thankfully the room was big enough for them to be in here, without annoying other trainers and such. Lenora reached down into one of the bags Laxus had and found some food for herself. She had bought a small bento box at the store this morning, so it was still fresh and ready to be eaten. As she enjoyed her food, she looked around at the other trainers. Most people are either chatting or, weirdly enough, giving one guy some kind of mean stares. Lenora looked at the guy for a while as well, but she then decided to look at her food instead. It wasn't nice to stare at people like that anyway. She had noticed that he was feeding his pokémon breakfast as well. It was always nice to see people who takes good care of their Pokémon.

Kodii Venero :: 21 :: Olivine City {Pokemon Center} :: Lenora
He'd been mostly done with his coffee -- after returning Naoi to his Pokeball so he'd stop harassing his Salazzle for her food, the delusional menace -- when he realized that one of the sets of eyes that kept flickering to him occasionally was not one of the trainers he'd cleaned out the night before and held much less malice than theirs. Maybe she was just wondering why he was getting looks from the others. He'd been about to go back to ignoring everyone else when Arc also noticed her, and the Luxray that was obviously hers.
The former totem Pokemon immediately darted away from Kodii and towards the large electric=type, bzzt-ing loudly in their excitement as they circled the Pokemon that had clearly caught their interest. "Arc!" He barked out the name, but got little response, forced to stand with the egg in his arms and stalk towards his wayward Rotom, though not before muttering "Riuqa keep an eye on the others," to his Salazzle as he passed her. Her tail flicked in acknowledgement.
"Arc," his attention was focused solely on his Pokemon rather than the woman and hers, "what did I tell you about behaving?"

✣ Nearly done with the veggy part of her bento box, Lenora heard a male voice cut through the mumbling in the room "Arc!". Lenora knew it must have been the name of the pokémon that was darting towards her and her little group. When it stopped close to Laxus and started bzzt-ing, Lenora couldn't help but smile a little. Laxus who had just finnshed his food, looked up - staring at the Rotom for a while before standing up and give it a small roar back. Laxus was mostly very laid back and calm, so Lenora wasn't worried at all. Laxus was so used to being around other people and pokémon. Lenora turned around in her seat when she heard footsteps coming her way. Then a voice cut through "Arc - what did I tell you about behaving?". Lenora looked up at the guy who was the trainer she had given a couple of looks earlier. She quickly looked back at the Rotom before turning back looking at the trainer "Oh, no it's alright, I don't mind personally..." she gave him a small smile before looking over at the two Pokémon. Arc was still circling Laxus. Lenora's other Pokémon had also stopped eating, looking closely at what was going. Lola jumped down from the table and landed in Lenora's lap. She petted the pokémon lightly before looking back up at the trainer "Sorry, I didn't catch your name...?" Lenora knew it was a bit bold of her to ask such a thing out of the blue but she just felt like saying something. It would be nice to chat with some people - at least once in a while.

"Whether you mind or not, they still need to behave if they want to be allowed to see any part of the festival." His voice was sharp, and the Rotom drifted away from the Luxray and back toward him. "Thank you." He finally turned his attention to the woman as she spoke again, shifting the egg in his arms. He had to take a moment to process what she's said. Had they met before? The wording implied they had, but he certainly didn't remember her -- though then again, the past few years were mostly just a blur of travel and battles. He had to actually look down for her though, you'd think that would have stuck out to him. Well, didn't matter either way. "Kodii Venero. The ridiculously over-sized Rotom is Arc, as I'm sure you've realized by now."
His eye flickered away from her and back toward the three other Pokemon he had out, all of which had finished eating by then. Catching his look his Salazzle slung his backpack over her shoulder and stalked across the room toward him with the others in tow. "Riuqa, Virus, and Izanami," he readjusted the egg once more to motion to the Salazzle herself, his Raichu -- it was rare for him to actually float on his tail normally instead of walking or riding on someone else, apparently he was really trying to showcase that he was, in fact, Alolan and not just your run of the mill Raichu -- and Alolan Ninetales as he said their names.

Oda became friendlier when approached, leaning down so her nose nearly touched Kitsune's. "I spent most of my life in Alola, I've never really been to any regions except there and here." She gestured vaguely around her as she spoke with one arm, though her motions were limited by keeping the egg secure. "I do have family from Unova though, I've been thinking of going there at some point when I eventually end up travelling out of Johto." Oda reached out towards Kitsune as if to pet her before moving to scoop her up instead and pet her that way, earlier wariness gone. "Oda," Harmony groaned, "you always do this. This is why you have a hard time making friends you can't just pick up everyone you meet."

AJ laughed as the other Pokémon picked up Kistune. "No, it's fine. Kitsune loves attention. She's a little princess."
"Vul!" Kitsune yipped in agreement, clearly enjoying being held as she nuzzled up underneath the Lycanroc's chin.
"Are you heading to the festival?" she asked, reaching up to stroke Noctali beneath the chin. By now, her team had more or less finished running out their energy and joined the two trainers. Kuro and Watson remained by AJ's side while the younger Pokémon, Firma and Aldran, were curiously sniffing at the other trainer. Well, Firma was; Aldran was more staring at her curiously with his head cocked.

"Thank goodness for that, Oda being too affectionate gets us into a lot of trouble. Mostly unnecessary battles." The Lycanroc only snorted in response to this, quite content to continue nuzzling the other pokemon, stopping only to poke her nose out to examine the others as they approached. "And yeah, I was on my way there after staying the night at Moomoo Farm." She stretched, her back popping audibly as she did so. "Offered to help with the chores in exchange, so I've been up for a while. Looking forward to the chance to relax after that. What about you?" The question was more just out of politeness, it was safe to assume anyone this close to Olivine would be.

"Yeah, that's the plan," AJ replied, watching her younger party members interact with the stranger and her Lycanroc. "Oh, I'm AJ by the way. Probably should've led with that..."
At this point, Firma was beginning to become jealous of all the attention her friend was getting and began rubbing up against Oda's legs, letting out little yips of her own. "Zor! Zor!"
Aldran, however, was still keeping his distance, his gaze shooting back and forth between the other trainer and the Lycanroc.
