Hit: time to impress | Magetta: find a friend

At least one of the two men had been on guard, as Hit felt Seahawk bump into him from behind, and from the corner of his eye he spotted the pirate peering out at the pairs of eyes in the bushes. It didn't take long for Hit to dissect the situation; there were five creatures total, and his best guess from their energies they were animals, roughly about half his size. I can hardly call this a skirmish, but I have to consider Seahawk as well. He knew too little of the pirate in question to determine how this fight would go, so at current he was a wild card. The assassin caught wind of Seahawk mumbling something about the creatures, but the pirate seemed ready to stay put. Maintaining his straight posture, Hit lowered his arm to his side, only to find Seahawk took that as a signal to approach the hidden creatures. "We can take them," A twig snapped under Seahawk's boot, which the creatures took as a sign of aggression. Four of the five leaped from hiding to pounce.

One half a second is all I need. Hit didn't move until the scene around him froze in an illusion of stained glass. During his half second time skip, the assassin delivered four killing blows to the wolf like creatures, striking them at the base of the neck with enough force to break their spines. He plucked Seahawk from harm's way and held him up by the collar of his shirt, the martial artist keeping his cool composure with his free hand tucked in his pocket. He offered the pirate a brief sigh, his eyes closed. "Be more careful. Don't forget our agreement." From Seahawk's perspective, the wolves would have all cried out in pain all at once before collapsing, with Hit somehow having him by the collar. The last of the creatures now took its chance to strike, believing to have caught the assassin flatfoot. With a far shorter time skip, Hit jumped only a tenth of a second to strike the snarling creature in the chest, a line of blue energy shooting out from the other side of the internal wound. It too fell dead to the ground, while Hit himself scarcely moved save for his fist.

Paradise. What a nice place to call a home. Magetta's home was one of metal and steam, and while the Metalman didn't mind that kind of scenery, a place like this island would be a welcomed change of pace. He expressed delight at the young girl's offer, wishing to follow her down to meet the others of the island. He woke only to discover it was a dream, but he also was no longer in his home. "Ratchet spark," Magetta stirred in confusion, gears shifting as he sat up from his bed of soft clover, though many of the plants were destroyed under his immense weight. A metal claw whirred in its socket and reached up to scratch his head in a pondering manner. How did he get here? And where was here? He looked around the forested area, his confusion only growing. His senses only told him that the people here were not anyone he recognized, and something darker lurked her with him. Too scary for his taste. Magetta's molten core bubbled with this mix of emotions as he got to his feet, sinking partially into the soft earth and leaving colossal footprints with each step. He didn't wander far from where he woke, but it didn't take long before his face turned a dismayed shade of blue and the steampipe on top of his head erupted with a shrill whistle. "Clankity clank whirr." Magetta didn't like feeling so lost, especially when he was by himself.

Nisha chuckled softly as the wolf sneezed the flower away. It was a good sign. It seemed this wasn’t a creature that could immediately see through illusions. Those kinds of monsters had caused her quite a bit of trouble in her old world. Unfortunately, the white wolf didn’t seem to be responding at first. It was at this point that the thought of a language barrier crossed her mind. Then, a voice started to echo in her head. She instinctively froze in response. It wasn’t Laby’s voice, that was immediately obvious. Nisha put her attention back on the wolf in front of her for a second and finally connected the dots. Although, she wasn’t quite sure how to respond. In the moment only one idea came to mind.

Nisha cleared her mind and focused on her words. ”That was you right?” She wasn’t even sure if it was working or if she was simply making a fool of herself but she had to try something. ”I’m sorry I didn’t manage to hear all of that but you said you were lost as well? Was there nothing of interest outside the forest?” Nisha tried to see if maybe anything the wolf had seen would help them better understand their situation. Nisha herself hadn’t really found anything of note inside the forest but she hoped maybe outside it was different. Otherwise today would surely be a long day.

Yu Tendo

”Yahooo!” Gigling and running around like a lunatic was Yu, a young beyblader full of energy. Despite the creepy atmosphere, Yu ran around as if he owned the place. The darkness around him didn’t seem to bother him as he was too focused on exploring this new world. Dark or no, he had never been able to explore a world in his dreams like this so he made the most of it. Yu ran and rolled through the half dead grass, jumped into a dirty lake, and rolled himself down a hill. It took awhile before he finally felt tired and plopped himself onto the ground, a big smile on his face. ”Whew, that was fun huh Libra?” he said, pulling out his beyblade and making small conversation, ”What is this place anyway?” As some of the more important questions started to pop into his mind, he spotted a figure in the distance.

He didn’t hesitate, he got to his feet and started to jog over to them waving a hand in the air as he went. ”Hey! Do you live in this wacky place?” He soon realized he was approaching another kid and his smile only grew wider. He was using both hand to wave now. He kept running closer towards the person, almost tripping once, before he said ”Hi, what’re you up to huh?”

Tamamo stretched as she woke up from her dream. Ah, the forest was so pretty and the weather was gorgeous, she just wanted to stay there forever. Well, she should probably get up and going eventually. She was quite a bit startled when she opened her eyes though. What in the world happened to this forest?! After getting up and looking around for a bit, it seemed pretty similar to the forest that appeared in her dream. She didn't even have a master here either, so she would have to be self-sufficient when it came to mana, although for some reason she felt like that wouldn't be a problem. She also still had her mirror floating around her. However, Tamamo really didn't like how creepy this place was. She decided that staying in one spot wasn't the best idea and started wandering around.

When Ren had turned back to Ryoji, he realized that Ryoji had been distracted by something while he had been talking to Morgana. He was slightly thankful for that, as it would have been a little awkward to explain himself talking to a cat. Then Ryoji said something about Morgana actually being a cat and not some weird monster, and Ren's heart skipped a couple beats. Oh dear lord. He had hit the nail right on the head for Morgana's true form. As Ren recovered from the slight shock of having Ryoji unknowingly guess correctly that Morgana was some weird cat monster thing, he heard Ryoji say something about just picking a direction that neither of them came from. "Yeah, I think that would be a good idea. I also think we should take note of landmarks, just so we know we aren't walking in circles, y'know?" Ren replied, a little shock still evident in his voice.

The moments that it took for the black-haired person to respond almost felt like ages for the goddess. However, it seemed like her attempt at communication had worked, as the person had frozen up, but that wasn't a guarantee that it had worked. She was relieved when the person spoke, and they seemed to have gotten the general gist of what she was trying to communicate. Yes, I am also lost here. I didn't see much too noteworthy outside of the forest. However, should we get acquainted with eachother? I am Amaterasu.

      Chiaki
      ──────────────────
      17 | Female | DR2 | Tagged: Bow

Her eyes went wide as she saw Bow step up to protect her. Even though she trusted him, she hadn't expected him to step up so quickly to protect her. It was heartwarming to say the least. She was glad that she could truly count on him when things got like this though she didn't want him putting himself in unnecessary danger for her own safety. However his actions seemed to catch the male villager off guard and even his resolve faltered. He lowered the pitchfork though the expression on his face barely changed. It was still as unpleasant as it previously had been, but hopefully this act meant he was backing down. Glancing at the woman she had originally approached, Chiaki could see the look of concern on her face. It was obvious that she thought that the man was going to truly attack her. She could only assume that this man was naturally violent then. Such a thought was scary but when had violence ever scared her? Ever since Monokuma had shown up the idea of violence had become something that lurked in the back of everyone’s minds or so she assumed given how much one would benefit from becoming violent and killing. As much as she wanted to believe nobody would kill another she doubted it would be that easy. Could that be applied here as well? Averting her gaze back to the hostile man, Chiaki lowered her hands to be more at ease. Maybe it was a risk to do such but with Bow at the ready she felt she had a chance to take a more comfortable stance. It would make things easier for her at least. Taking a step closer to Bow, Chiaki gently placed a hand on the archer’s shoulder and gave him a small smile as a thanks. Once again she found herself in his debt. This time she wouldn’t mention it though. It wasn’t the time or place to do so anyways.

Instead of speaking to her companion, her attention shifted back to the man. He was her biggest concern right now. If they could calm him down then maybe they would be able to get the information they sought. It was worth a shot. Moving her hand away from Bow’s shoulder, the gamer took a step ahead of him and gave the native male a lopsided smile on her face. "He’s right. Nobody has to get hurt," she said softly, deciding that playing off Bow’s statement was the best course of action. It was probably the course that would result in the least amount of violence if any at all. It depended on how this man would react. Such a thing was entirely out of their control though. "He won’t hurt you" the woman finally said as she moved to stand between them and the other native. It was a relief to see her standing there helping to defuse the situation. Did it mean she was willing to talk to them then? Chiaki was hopeful. "You say you are looking for information, right?" This had to be it. They finally were breaking through. A small ping of excitement arose in the young gamer and she gave a quick nod of her head in hopes that the woman would continue on. However as she looked upon the native she could see her expression change. It looked like she wanted to tell them something but she had to hold it back. It made Chiaki wonder what exactly was going on here. Was it possible that they knew something but couldn’t tell them? She knew that feeling all too well. That was her entire existence. She wasn’t supposed to tell the others she was an AI generated to help rehabilitate them from the despair they had fallen to. No, she had to keep it all a secret. She had promised that to Usami and her father. She entirely related to the expression that the woman wore. In a way it pained her. Before she could speak though, the woman swiftly moved towards them and leaned in to speak.

"I can’t say much or ‘he’ might find out" she whispered, worry filling her voice. Her tone sent a shiver down Chiaki’s spine and in that moment she knew something definitely wasn’t right in this place. Clearly there was something oppressing these people and that was worrisome. Who was this he that was behind it all? She doubted this woman could share such information but maybe she would guide them to some place they could learn more about it. "All I can say is there was a legend passed down that spoke of travelers from other worlds coming here. Some say it is to save us, others say it is to signify the end. If you go north from the other end of the village there is an underground temple where this legend was discovered. Maybe you can find answers there. I wish I could say more but it is too dangerous." In that moment Chiaki felt overwhelmed with information yet at the same time she wished for more. Sadly the woman wouldn’t be able to provide anything else. What she offered was more than enough to go off with though. Watching her step back, the gamer gave a polite dip of her head. "Thank you. That will help us very much. I really hope we did not put you in any danger by coming here. We will be off soon just in case, but I have one more question," she said, hoping that she wasn’t overstepping now. They just had gotten valuable information which was enough but she felt it wouldn’t hurt to ask if they could get supplies or even a meal before they set off. "Would it be possible for us to gather some supplies or get food while we’re here before we set off?"

The woman seemed hesitant, but she nodded nevertheless. That made the smile upon Chiaki’s lips grow. "You are more than welcome to come to my shop and gather whatever food items you’d like. Rime will gather some arrows for the boy and get you a weapon if that will suffice," she said. A weapon for her. That would be strange, but she couldn’t object. Without one she was entirely useless and even if she wasn’t skilled with anything it would be better than nothing. Hopefully it wouldn’t be something hard to handle. Either way, she gave a quick nod of her head before looking back at Bow. She doubted that he would disagree with such an offer, but she wanted to look and make sure that they were on the same page. While she did that the woman dismissed the man to go retrieve the weaponry before turning back to them and gesturing for them to follow. As she began walking down the road, Chiaki could help but beam a smile at her companion. "This is great! We’re finally getting some information and supplies!" Usually she didn’t show this kind of emotion but she was too relieved to tone it down. This was a small burden taken off their shoulders. How could she not rejoice? "We should follow after her before we get too far behind." Turning in the direction the lady had gone off in Chiaki bengal to make her way after her, making sure to move slowly to assure Bow could catch up to her easily.

Emma was planning to go and visit the forest, until she heard an unfamiliar voice. She stopped and hesitant looked at the direction of the voice, only to see a person, assumingly, his age. She clenched her bow for a few moments until it relaxed. From a farther view, the figure was a girl. But when the figure gets closer, instead it was a boy. Damn her and her vision. She blinked for a few times at his questions, until she answered with a bit hesitation " O-Oh Hey there! " this was the first time she ever a human that is alive, besides her and the children of the orphanage. But then again, this is not her world anymore, but...how it should be deemed, as a rather 'destroyed dream-land'. " No, I don't own this place. And, I'm just looking around, is all. " she said as she gave a nervous close-eyed smile while sweat-dropping. But then, her nervous aura immediately changed into a cheerful one " By the way, what's your name? My name's Emma! "

Nisha Labyrinth

Nisha took in a deep breath and sighed. At least the weird communication through the mind was working. ”Ah, right.” Nisha had completely forgotten about formalities in her rush for information. ”My name is Nisha and...” Nisha paused to look behind her and smiled when she spotted what she was looking for. She pointed at a tree and continued ”that over there is Laby.” The mirror revealed itself slowly from behind the tree but it stayed distant. ”She is a bit shy. Anyway, I guess this place is a mystery. Were you transported here as well?” Nisha stood up again and looked around as she spoke. This place was getting more and more suspicious by the second.

Yu Tendo

When Yu finally caught up he had a big grin on his face. ”Oh yeah! My name’s Yu, Yu Tendo. Nice to meet ya!”Yu spoke energetically like he always did. ”Emma is a cool name, I think-“It was at this point that Yu finally noticed the bow in Emma’s hands and his eyes sparkled with amazement. Woah! Is that a bow? That’s so cool! You must be one of those archer people. Can you shoot it?” He acted as if he had a bow of his own and dramatically shot the imaginary bow. ”One of my favorite movie characters uses a bow. That’s so cool!” he continued his excited rambling then looked at Emma expectantly. Waiting to see if she would shoot it.

-- Ryoji Mochizuki
---- 16 :: Male :: Persona 3 :: Tagged- Ren
Something he'd done or said had seemed to rattle Ren a little, but for the life of him Ryoji did not have a single clue of what that may have been. He didn't seem upset though so he made the decision to just ignore it then. "A good idea," he agreed with an emphatic nod of his head, "getting lost definitely would not be a good thing. Is this direction okay?" He waved his hand as he asked despite the fact that he was actually already walking at the same time. He really, really, really wanted to put some distance between them and this specific area. Before the bears came back. He'd been entirely serious about that. Besides, if Ren wanted to go a different way he'd just... change directions. "What's your cat's name, if you don't mind me asking?"

-- Psyche Astra
---- 14 :: Female :: Kingdom Hearts oc :: Tagged- Pit
Sleeping Lion returned to resting on her shoulder as she walked, Astra doing her best to at least partially keep her eyes peeled for anything dangerous or unusual. Just because Rith had claimed not to sense any heartless nearby didn't mean there was nothing dangerous after all. If she got back and was hurt, Intima would never let her hear the end of it she was sure -- not to mention the worry of her party members. Some of them still tended to fret over her even if she were a fully capable wielder in her own right now. She was, technically, still the newest. Hopefully they'd stop viewing her as the newbie eventually. She doubted it though. "Yeah, it can unlock just about anything," she confirmed, her voice just a bit distracted with her own thoughts until she realized Pit was showing off his own weapon.
"Oooh," her eyes focused on it as he showed her how it worked. That was so cool! It was multiple weapons in one -- close range and long range. If only she were better at magic. But her strength always had been, and probably always would be, speed instead of magic or brute strength. A shame really. She'd seen others {it was almost always Intima -- she showed off her especially powerful magic constantly, reveled in the reactions she got} pull off incredible spells and she wanted to be able to do things like that too. "I bet that's really useful, huh?"
She'd gotten distracted and forgotten to keep her eyes on her surroundings.
"Oh," she fell into a more serious stance with her keyblade as she followed Pit's gaze to see the feline approaching them, "yeah, I don't think it's gonna sit there and let us pet it. Such a shame, I like cats." Pit seemed to be leaning more toward long range right now, which meant it wouldn't do to have it rushing him. So her options were to rush it or draw its attention -- and rushing it was likely to put her in his way more than anything else. "Here kitty~" She took a third option halfway between the two -- putting enough space between her and Pit before simply throwing Sleeping Lion at it. It wasn't a perfect shot {or a perfect plan, let's be honest} but it still managed to hit the thing and draw its attention before the keyblade vanished, reappearing in Astra's hand as she fell back into a more defensive stance.

Seeing the aggressor have what had to be second thoughts, the weapon lowering for a moment, Bow took a sigh of momentary relief. Progress was being made, they were getting through to him, maybe to the others, and perhaps Bow wouldn’t be pitch-forked this day. Well he hoped he’d never get pitch-forked ever, but life didn’t always go to plan, and if it was to protect his friends, Bow would gladly take the pitch fork for them, as unpleasant as it would be.
When Chiaki placed a hand on his shoulder, the boy returned the smile, before watching her continue on, as she attempted to some sense into the man, and some answers out of anyone else. As apprehensive as he was, Bow knew he had to hold back for a moment, seeing as the girl seemed to have some idea of how to proceed, though his muscles remained tense, ready to make any sudden move necessary. The people had proved they were very capable of defending themselves, or at least one person had, and Bow was incredibly wary of how his stance might look to the others, and he did what he could not to look like he was ready to start a battle, because that was the very last thing he wanted. As good as he was in a fight, he was smart enough to know and admit that he could not fight an entire village.

When the woman they’d attempted to speak with before came to their defense, Bow’s smile grew a little more, thankful for her intervention, her willingness to assist them, and he felt confident enough to relax and step towards the woman, eager to hear whatever information she had to offer, since it was pretty much all they had right now.
Her expression, however, concerned him, and it looked like she was debating whether or not she could pass this information on, and it was worrying to thing that there was someone or something so dangerous and oppressive that even the people that lived here were afraid to speak. It was a problem Bow had encountered a few times when trying to help recruit people for the rebellion, or when he’d been talking to that one kid while he was locked up, Kyle. Poor guy, just needed some better friends, and definitely a better environment than the Fright Zone.
Anyone deserved better than the Fright Zone. Well, most people… though Bow disliked thinking that, having been one to always try and find the good within others, the powers they possessed, even if they weren’t of the magical kind.

“He?” Bow couldn’t help but question, as he leaned in and listened intently to everything the lady had to say, as soon as she decided to. It began to feel more and more like Hordak was ruling the place or something, though Bow was quite sure there was something more dangerous at hand, and if it was more dangerous than Hordak than Bow reserved the right to be severely terrified.
Words of a legend peaked Bow’s curiosity, but he kept his tongue this time, making sure he remembered every word, because all of it counted and though she was limited in what she could say, Bow was immensely grateful for what she’d given them, it was so much more than he expected.
“Thank you,” Bow added to Chiaki’s gratitude, just before she made the request for supplies. He wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised when the woman said she would let them get some food and the mention of extra arrows certainly got Bow’s attention, and he gasped quietly, before grinning and clapping his hands quietly in anticipation. The thought that Chiaki was to receive a weapon as well made Bow a little less worried about how things would progress. She would have a more immediate way to defend herself if she and Bow got separated, it was more than they could have asked for, and the archer just didn’t know how to to properly express his joy.
“Oh, yeah, we should,” Bow nodded, jogging forward to catch up to the woman who was providing them with so much aid, now a lot less uncomfortable around the villagers, and they seemed to feel less enclosing upon him, less standoffish.

“This is… amazing.” Bow responded to Chiaki’s earlier excitement, a spring in his step and a happy gleam in his eyes. “I’m so glad we managed to work things out., I do not want to fight an entire village.” For a moment, Bow's face went from elated to worried.

“Hopefully, whoever 'he’ is doesn’t find out we got help, if we’re not supposed to be here.” Voice hushed as he said that, the archer considered the possible consequences of the assistance they were receiving, and if these people were made to pay for his and Chiaki's intrusion, Bow would never be able to forgive himself, and it'd definitely be a horrible outcome he'd never recover from. The boy could only pray that these people who had done no harm received no harm, that fate would deal them a gracious hand, and spare them unnecessary suffering.

“I wonder if the food is different here,” The change of subject was very much needed, Bow couldn't stand to dwell on the bad possibilities and there was nothing to distract him from his troubles like some good food.

"Food?” The confusion didn’t really stem from the concept of food but the fact that that was a main point of focus for their newfound… ‘friend’. There was probably some explanation behind it, but at the moment, Qrow was not seeing it, though he wasn’t going to question it, there really wasn’t that kind of time, and Qrow wasn’t liking how much he was currently just standing around. If no one else was going to, he planned to suggest the get moving. "I’m sure we’ll come across something along the way,” he shrugged, though he wasn’t exactly expecting to stumble across a restaurant or bakery of any kind, or a bar, which would be very desirable right about now.
At the joke, Qrow chuckled quietly, though unconsciously he tightened his grip around his weapon the slightest amount, quite certain he’d never be fully comfortable with his current company. But he wasn’t going to turn away from them.
"Looks like it’s a team-up then.” The Huntsman shrugged, trying to remain as apathetic as possible, despite the underlying tension in his nerves. He wasn’t as on edge as he usually was, but the way things currently seemed to be going, Qrow wasn’t sure how long it would be before he’d had enough.

Looking at Lygad for a moment, mostly to comfort himself that the kid was still there, Qrow let out a long tired huff towards the sky, wondering how to proceed from her.
"Guess it’d be worth figuring out if there’s people who actually live here or something,” He grumbled, before looking at Hanzo and his sword again.
"Have you seen any signs of a settlement at all?” He questioned, hoping they’d covered some more ground than he had on his short flights. "Or any signs that people might live here?” He doubted he would get much of a useful response, but it was worth hoping for he supposed.

Of course, Seahawk was incredibly clueless and incredibly careless sometimes, but he was no coward and seeing the creatures jump forward did not deter him from standing his ground, though he did question his decision, as he had no idea what these things were, what they could do and he had little in the way of powers to help him out. As usual, he hadn’t really thought things through, and the consequences here would possibly be quite disastrous for the pirate.
Lucky for him, he had made a more powerful ally than he’d realised.

Before he could even make a move, the wolves were on the floor, incapacitated, and Hit was holding him by the collar, for some reason Seahawk clearly could not see, and he looked between the taller being and the dead creatures on the ground, eyes narrowed in confusion, one finger pointing first at Hit, then at the wolves, then back to hit, in sync with the turning of his head. The two events were certainly connected, the pirate could say that for sure. As for the connection, well Seahawk had absolutely no idea.
Seeing a fifth creature come forward to attack, Seahawk wanted to say something, but his pointed finger barely managed to turn to the last creature, before a blue pulse had burst through the thing, and Hit’s fist was up, clearly having attacked the wolf.

Slowly pulling his collar out of Hit’s grip, Seahawk backed up a step, one hand in a fist pressed against his face in contemplation, before both of his hands were open, his palms facing towards him, and he tried to formulate words through movements that made no sense, just like recent events. Eventually, the sailor seemed to recollect himself, hands now raised in confusion, as he simply asked "What?"

He was a lot more composed than he’d expected for a moment, but then he just erupted into an array of questioning stutters, pointing at almost everything possible, the wolves, Hit, Seahawk’s original position, even pulling at his own collar, no words able to truly express who disoriented he was, apart from an additional, "What just happened?" Which was to be followed by more question marks than was imaginable.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

For what felt like the longest times, his little stone friends came back with nothing to report, as he strolled along, admiring the trees, the flowers, the grass, but feeling somewhat disheartened by the dying feeling they possessed. His blank eyes became half moons, to compliment a non existent frown, as he looked at one particular plant that seemed to be close enough to dead.

Suddenly one of his pebbles came back jumping, and pointing in a direction, and the Nomad looked up quickly, excited by the possibility of running into someone, though he followed the stone with some caution, as many people he had met for the first time were rather aggressive towards him, and the Nomad very much dislike the violence and hurting people.

Soon the scarecrow came to find the second stone, the first had been signalling to hopping around as it was inspected by a creature the Nomad had never seen before. And it was accompanied by three others, and all of them seemed rather taken aback by the living rock, which was to be understood. Well, they seemed calm enough that the Scarecrow adjusted the hat on his head and dusted himself down a bit, before confidently making his way towards the strangers, waving in greeting, as the three other rocks he had brought to life jumped onto his shoulders and perched there comfortably. The one that had found the group also went towards the Nomad, who crouched for a moment to let the rock jump into his hands. He continued to wave, as he stopped a couple of feet away from the group, still waving.

Gilthunder started to worry about this situation. Bleeding ooze..what kind of creature bled black ooze? There was only one answer he could think of, a demon. However, this creature here didn't look demonic at all...so what was it. He wanted to know so bad, but his questions wouldn't be answered unless the continue the explore the island. However, this was a step closer to the truth. He started to become a little glad that they ran into that monster, although it could had did some damage to them both. Thankfully, that thing went down easier then he thought."Humm? what are you talking about, you did well~" a charming smile came across his face. The holy knight rubbed the tip of his curvy sword on the ground, getting most of ooze off before placing it back in the Sheath. He just hoped that it didn't rust or melt his sword...would be very unfortunate if it did since it was his main weapon for battle. Gilthunder wouldn't be surprised if it broke here, of course he was going to do his best to prevent that form happening

"I agree.." Maybe they should stick to the ground for now? Maybe stick to ground for abit. It didn't matter either way, danger lurked in both the sky and the ground..most likely the water to. There was no telling with this crazy island. Gilthunder nodded then replied." I was thinking the same..about not going back in the sky for now." Now what? what should they do now? they could continue to explore the island or find something to eat. He didn't realize how hungry he was until now, his cheeks turn slightly red." A-Ah,seems like..i'm getting a little hungry." His Hunger pain had came and suddenly slapped him on the face. In fact, he felt like he was going to pass out if he didn't find something soon." I-If you don't mind, could we look for some food before we continue to explore?" Now that it came across his mind, could he really trust anything on this island? The stuff here could poison him or something. Only way to find out..

Lux blushed, lowering her staff before putting it up. Yeah, didn't want to burn the island now did we?" Y-Yeah, maybe your right. Enough magic for one day." The girl started to think to her self, wondering how Ezreal knew her. She wasn't sure who he was until now..maybe she really did lose her memory when came to this island. Maybe she didn't know who he was before coming here..who knows! Lux wanted to question him about it, but now wasn't a good time to do so. Maybe after they took care of this fire before it spread across the island. Anyway, she took the bucket that was handed to her, scooped up some water and helped Ezreal put out the fire. The tree was kinda tall, so it was going to take more water to put out the fire. "Geez, this smoke is bothering me..we should clear this out some how..or just move form the location whenever where done here."

After bumping water on the water for the first time, Lux sprinted back to the water and scooped up more water. Small coughs escaped her throat, growing louder and louder. They begin to even sound a little horse." Whoa..wait a second.." Lux paused after dumping more water on tree, beads of sweat started to come down her face."T-This...where did this bucket come form?!" these buckets weren't here when they first came here, well she didn't see them away. Maybe someone brought these for them? then..they where being watched? this made her abit worried

Falling into step at Bow's side once again as they followed after the woman, Chiaki gave a soft chuckle. It definitely would have been bad if the entire village had begun to attack. Retreating would have been their only option at that point given that she had no way of fighting and she would not want Bow using all his arrows to protect the two of them. If the woman hadn't stepped up, she was sure they two of them would have been done for. At least it ended well and now they had gained some knowledge as well as a meal and supplies. What more could they really ask for? A place to rest might have been smart, but she felt that lingering too long in the village would only cause problems and given how it appeared to still be daytime it wouldn't hurt to travel more and find a spot of their own to rest up. Plus it was possible that not all the villagers would be entirely welcoming to them staying here for too long. She doubted it was just the one that wasn't fond of their presence in this place. Pushing those negative thoughts from the front of her mind, she bobbed her head at Bow's words. "It is great that we were able to avoid conflict for the time being. I couldn't even imagine what might have happened to us if the whole village attacked," she said. Something like that definitely sounded like it would happen in a video game though so in a way she knew how to deal with such a situation albeit she had never been faced with such in real life. Could she even trust her video game knowledge to help her out in these kinds of situations? She wasn't entirely sure. She really hadn't seen any of her friends use video game knowledge to get themselves out of any situations so that made it difficult to tell if it was actually all that useful or not. For now she would have to continue to use it as much as she possibly could. It was the one thing that she had in terms of being useful.

As the conversation shifted towards the "he" that had been mentioned, Chiaki's expression faded a bit. Bow had a point. If this "he" found out that the villager had spoken to them and even helped them what would happen? Would he directly go for the villagers or would he come after them instead? It was hard to say. The last thing she wanted was to be the reason that any of these innocent people died though. It would make her feel horrible especially since they had been willing to risk such a thing to help them out. It was all because of whatever legend too. From what she knew of the sort such things could be true. In the video games she had played most legends often referenced older games in a series or something along those lines. Most weren't necessarily believed by those in the game, but they were often true. It really was no surprise. How were people supposed to believe something that was supposedly old and unable to prove true? It seemed the same couldn't be applied here though. Part of her wanted to believe that this temple might have been a trap planted for them but not by the villagers. They seemed too innocent to trick them like that and what would the gain out of trying to kill them? No, this seemed like something that the one behind all of this might be setting them up with. It was concerning. "I hope it doesn't come to that either, but I also wonder if this temple might be something that he has set up," she mused. "I doubt regular people would know of there being different worlds unless it was common knowledge. That doesn't seem to be the case here. I guess we'll have to see if it is ourselves though."

There was no point worrying about it now. They had no other leads anyways. Plus she would have a weapon of her own soon enough. That would make it a little less dangerous for the two of them. Even so once they left they would have to be careful but they could discuss that when the time came. For now they just needed to eat up and wait for their supplies to be given to them. Looking away from Bow, she noticed the woman from before standing a vendors stall or should she say several. All of them held different kinds of foods from fruits to cheeses to meats. There was plenty for them to chose from. "Help yourself to whatever you'd like," the woman told them with a smile upon her lips.

        Pit

As much as he wished to boast a little more about his weapon, Pit knew he would need to at least act seriously in the situation they found themselves in right now. Without the goddesses help, he would have to rely purely on his own skills and the power that the bow of light granted him, which wasn't much as is. Besides, it seemed Astra was already falling into a more serious stance. Following suit was his best option at this point. Tightening the grip on his bow, the angel took a couple seconds to calm himself hoping that by doing so he would help with his aim. Keeping himself focused, he heard his companion speak up about liking cats. He didn't blame her. Cats weren't that bad usually. He had limited exposure around them if he was being honest. Back in Skyworld he never really saw many common animals that lived with the humans but he had seen them during his visits. This cat though was definitely not like the ones that he remembered. One look at it and he was starting to think that he much preferred dogs. Maybe that was because he was around them much more than he was cats. It was actually kind of funny given that he had fought canine-like creatures in the past yet his views on dogs barely had been swayed. He supposed his opinion on cats shouldn't have been swayed either. He shouldn't be thinking about such things right now. Where was the focus he had been hoping to achieve? Wrinkling his nose, he glanced at Astra out of the corner of his eye wonder what exactly she would do. He could easily let his arrow loose at any time, but he wanted to assure that she wasn't about to go in for an attack. If that happened and he released it was entirely possible that she might get hit instead. That's when he watched her throw her weapon at the creature. It took him by complete surprise and he was about to yell out, but clearly she seemed to know what she was doing. He needed to do his part now.

Relaxing himself a bit, Pit released the arrow in the feline's direction and watched as it went flying through the air at its target. It was only a matter of seconds before the arrow hit its target and the creature let out a pained hiss. At the moment its focus seemed to shift from the girl and drift back to him. That was to be expected. He couldn't panic now though. Creating another arrow, he pulled it back and once again released it. This time he wasn't so lucky with his aim and it went flying past its intended target. Cursing softly under his breath, he could see the feline charging at him now. Arrows wouldn't do enough damage at this point nor would it be safe to use them as it drew closer to him. That was fine. Forcing the bowstring to dissipate, he quickly broke the bow apart again just in time. Just as soon as the creature had come flying at him, he managed to side step and slash one blade at it. Yet again he missed an attack though. How frustrating. For someone who was as skilled as himself he would have expected better results. Perhaps he was a bit rusty. That had to be it. As he tried to recover from his failed attack, Pit underestimated the speed of the feline and found himself pinned to the ground by it. Grunting softly, he managed to shield his face from its claws with one blade, but it was a struggle to hold it back. It didn't help that the position he was in was quite uncomfortable given that he hadn't had time to spread his wings out.

"Get off me!" he growled as his struggle continued. For how small this thing looked, it definitely was much heavier than he thought. It made it quite difficult to get it off him on his own. Perhaps it would forget that his partner was there though. As long as he kept it focused on him then Astra might have a chance to surprise attack it.

His concern was exactly how she felt as she gazed upon the creature as well. She knew what kind of animal it was, but yet she didn't given the strange attributes it had. It only made her wonder what else would be odd while they were stuck in this place. She was certain there would be plenty of things that she wouldn't be able to comprehend. That was quite a strange thing for her to think about given that she had lived for so long and experienced many different kinds of things as society progressed and changed over the thousands of years she had been alive. But of course she of all people should have known that not everything could be explained by her alone. As old as she might be that did not mean she had all the knowledge in the world. Besides, she had slept for quite some time during her life. That had taken some years from her as well as caused her to forget some of the things she once knew. Giving her head a small shake, she took a step back from the griffon. "I wonder if all the creatures here will be like this," she mused softly. Maybe it wasn't that they were different from the creatures they resembled but rather that the darkness that seemed to hang over this place was effecting them in some manner. It was an interesting thing to think about. She wasn't sure how such a thing could be possible, but stranger things had happened. She ws sure of that. "If they are we then I think we may be dealing with something incredibly strong. Something even stronger than I've dealt with in the past." It was hard for her to wrap her mind around the possibility that there was something stronger than Grima. The Fell Dragon had incredible strength and was considered a god in some ways. To think that they might be up against something even stronger than that definitely worried her.

"We definitely must stay on guard at all times," she said softly. That alone worried her. If she was on constant guard then it was possible she would tire herself much faster than she wanted to. It was probably best not to mention such a thing right now. Tiki didn't want to worry Gilthunder all too much. It would cause more trouble than she wanted. She would just have to be careful on how she used her own energy to avoid becoming all too tired though she would be lying if she didn't already fell a bit drowsy after one transformation and battle. Her stamina definitely wasn't what it had once been. Hopefully it wouldn't be noticeable. For now she would push herself as far as she could possibly go. That was the best course of action although it may cause her troubles down the line. If she truly felt like she was going to pass out she would tell her companion, but no sooner than that. Having the thought of sleep pushed from her mind as Gilthunder mentioned being hungry, it took the dragonkin a moment to process his words. Food probably wasn't all too bad of an idea. She wasn't sure what this place would have to offer for them though. Was it possible that the food would be influenced by this world's dark nature as well? That would be problematic. It wouldn't hurt to try though. Giving a small nod at his words, Tiki figured searching for food was the best course of action right now. Maybe it would help boost her energy for a bit longer as well.

"That sounds like a plan to me," she agreed before turning away from her companion to look around at the area they found themselves in. Where would they even begin looking? The space they were in was fairly open with the exception of some foliage nearby but none of it appeared to be any that bore any fruits or other things that they could eat. "Where do you think we should begin?"
