As opposed to Pit's apparent thoughts, Astra hadn't believed the silence was all that awkward and had been lost in thought for a moment. So she'd started slightly when he spoke again. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'm human." Maybe to someone else the question would have been weird, but Astra had already accepted that his wings were not just a costume. So she could also accept that he probably wasn't and might not be sure she was. Process of elimination, being aware of surroundings, blah, blah, she'd been listening when Intima criticized her. Mostly. Sometimes. When she wasn't distracted. Which was a bit more often than she'd ever admit.
"Oh, this?" She brandished Sleeping Lion again after his second question. "It's called a keyblade. I've got multiple of 'em, see?" Her keyblade vanished, only to be replaced the next instant with Missing Ache. That one always... unnerved her slightly. It aligned with Sleeping Lion, built more for speed which she did better with, but it felt... off almost? It had its uses, but she preferred Sleeping Lion infinitely more. So she swapped back to it after showing the darker keyblade off. "It's kinda hard to explain? I don't really understand it completely myself, but they're special. Plus, you know, if we run into anything locked -- I've got us covered."

"This is Harbinger,” Qrow smiled sarcastically, holding his weapon forward and gesturing to it, "Good thing our weapons are acquainted now,” while the idea of naming a weapon was completely normal for Qrow, he wasn't exactly sure why it was a necessary thing to mention the name of the sword, when they'd barely gotten past the first step of a proper introduction.

After a moment, the Huntsman clocked on that there was something different about the blade Hanzo possessed, the mention of the blood demon now brought to the forefront of his mind, just as a voice that didn't belong to Hanzo queried the former duo's plans.
"When you said blood demon...” there was no need to complete his question, Qrow assumed, seeing as that was clearly was not a name you gave to a being that spread sunshine and rainbows about the place.
Was this another of Salem's deadly creations? So far they hadn't attacked, and Qrow had little reason to suspect so, but it was still an uncomfortable thought that he would keep in the back of his mind.

"Plans?” With a shrug, Qrow crossed his arms, letting Harbinger rest against his back, "Get out of the forest and find a way home.” it wasn't elaborate, but the man suspected that the latter goal would be much easier said than done, though he hoped it would be done quickly.

Noticing how twitchy Lygad had become, out of the corner of his eye, Qrow leaned in the boy’s direction slightly, watching, silently, as he kicked up some sand.
"What were your plans?” Qrow inquired, returning his gaze to Hanzo, one shoulder raised slightly.

⋆ Axolotl [1] ⋆ Luci [1] ⋆

Postby Prince Catoukin » Fri Mar 15, 2019 1:11 pm

    [ ]yiitt Axolotl "Agent 8" 18Splatoon (OC)BeachTags;
bidoosh──── “𝙽𝚊𝚖𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝙰𝚡𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚝𝚕, 𝙸 𝚊𝚖 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞.

The warmth was a wonderful feeling. The gentle heat of the sun on his skin as he lay there soothed Axolotl more than he might admit. The years spent mostly underground and hidden from sunlight left him craving the gentle waves of heat every time he went outside. So he savored the feeling. He stayed where he was with a small smile on his face, not wanting to open his eyes for the sake of learning this may have all actually been a dream. After a few moments -- or minutes, he couldn't tell how long he'd been laying there -- he adjusted how he was laying. This was when he froze and his heart sped up in a burst of panic and adrenaline. He didn't fall asleep on the sand, and now that he thinks about it, he didn't fall asleep anywhere that would expose him to sunlight. Eyes shooting open, the octoling bolted upright and looked around with wide eyes. He was laying in the sand of what appeared to be a beach with a forest of sorts in the opposite direction of the water to his right. The waves were gently lapping at the shore, making the soft and soothing noises he rarely gets to hear with his missions and Inkopolis always being so busy. There were occasional nights while he was out with Agent 3 on a quest for the new Squidbeak Splatoon where they were sleeping near the ocean and could hear the water along the beach. The white noise kept him calm at nights, and greatly improved his sleep, encouraging him to get some sort of white noise to play on his octophone. Another wave of panic his Axolotl and he quickly patted down his sand-covered Great Zapfish jacket. Right inside one of his pockets, he was happy to find his phone resting there in one piece.

Turning on his phone, Axolotl quickly went through basic procedures to figure out where he was. Opening up the map, all he came to find was a small octoling symbol with a number eight in the middle of it surrounded by emptiness. The symbol was pulsing like usual, small circles radiating off of it, but the maps showed nothing else besides that and gridlines. Groaning, Axolotl turned his phone off and returned it to his pocket. His GPS, which was some sort of system that he vaguely remembers Callie mentioning they got the idea from the old humans, had no idea where he was. It was possible that wherever he was just wasn't marked on a digital map, but he highly doubted that. His trust in inkling technology was too great to believe that he was in some unmapped zone. So maybe he was somewhere underground? Somewhere that is able to recreate the light and heat given off of the sun on the surface world.

Axolotl got to his feet, whipping his clothes and face of any sand. Some of it managed to get stuck to the side of his face, giving him the impression he must have been laying there for quite some time. There was even some that somehow managed to stick to the lenses of his glasses. Once he was sure he was rid of most of the sand, Axolotl slowly turned around where he stood to take in his surroundings better. It was all very familiar, almost as if he'd been to this place before. Going through what memories he had, he was thankful to find he didn't recognize it from personal experience, but in fact from a dream. Last night's dream to be exact. There had been a child there, a small an innocent one that looked...off. He couldn't remember why since he's terrible at remembering the fine details of dreams, but he knew the child wasn't an inkling or octoling. Either way, they had asked him if he wanted to stay, and Axolotl had admittingly said yes. The place in his dreams was like a true paradise. It was calm and pleasant, a happy aura to everything that was there. Even the cherry blossom leaves seemed to dance with joy as they fluttered in the wind. He knew since the dream started with a reason he couldn't explain that the place was free of the dangers of Inkopolis. Octarians were gone, along with other evil forces and...sanitization.

Yet as he took in the land around him, he didn't get the same joyous feeling like the dream. The leaves weren't floating around in a subtle breeze, the colors seemed to have dulled out ever so slightly, and the feeling he got while he stood there was unsettling. Whatever was going on with this place wasn't right, and the agent knew it for sure. Hell, there was something wrong with the fact he was standing on the same piece of land as his dream from the night before. There was no way someone could've snuck into the apartment he shared with Orca, it was on secure lockdown because of their agent status. It's not like anyone truly knew about how they were agents, and the security is actually discrete yet effective. No one could've possibly gotten into his bedroom and taken him without him realizing. However, when Axolotl finally looked back down at the ground, he found the familiar shape of his ink tank and signature weapon: the Octobrush. Whoever had brought him to his place had to have known something was amiss if they gave him his weapon and tank.

Bending over, the octoling picked up his ink tank and strapped it on over his shoulders before picking up his brush. It was the same size as him, if not a little bigger, but lightweight and very easy to wield with one hand. That is if you have enough practice with it. As he held the hilt of the brush in his hands, Axolotl glanced down at his fingers to make sure his brush matched his ink color. His fingertips were yellow and as he looked at the brush end of his weapon, he came to find it was also coated in yellow ink. This was a good sign. As a test, he slowly changed his ink color to his classic salmon color and watched the yellow gradient into salmon pink. Perfect.

Knowing that his weapon was in good shape, Axolotl slung his weapon over his shoulder and began a treck along the, slowly making a diagonal path towards the treeline not that far off. He was here for a reason and he knew it. Something was wrong with this place, something dark and evil was going on that seemed to suck the very life out of the greenery and land around him. His job was to figure out what was causing this and hunt it down until it was gone. No place deserved to suffer like this, and he'd make sure of that.

Luci doesn't need sleep, it's not part of how he works. Yet after a long night of drinking and screwing around with his friends Bean and Elfo, the small demon will typically take the time to sleep off the effects of what they did. In this case, they had ended up drinking way too much -- at least for Elfo and Bean -- and went and burned the mass grave of plague victims. It's not something that one would expect to typically happen, but when it comes to the three of them, townsfolk always know something stupid is about to happen. So when he started to come to from his little nap and felt the sun on his face, he was thrown for a loop. Blinking open his eyes, Luci squinted at the open sky and sat up. He was surrounded by sand and open water, something he's pretty sure isn't normal. He would've remembered if he and the others had gone out in the middle of the night and passed out on a beach. The last thing he remembered before actually sleeping was curling up at the bottom of Bean's bed. It was a normal night, just like any other, so how he even ended up here, to begin with, was beyond him.

What he did vaguely recall was a fading dream, one of a small child talking to him and asking him if he wished to join them. The place the child was in was beautiful, so obviously Luci said yes. Who's to say a little demon can't want a getaway from friends and a terrible city? Despite the fact that the dream was starting to disappear from his memory, he could still make out the general area the child was in. In a way, it reminded him of where he was right now. It didn't seem as bright or cheerful as he could remember. If anything, it had a bit of a darker aura to it. This somewhat pleased the demon. It's a weird thing to be happy about a place seeming all dreary and blah, but it just means he can screw around more than if it were as happy-go-lucky as the dream. Yet the only thing missing from his surroundings was the child. The child confused him greatly, and he very much wanted to find them. That is if they were even a child. Honestly, with what he's experienced in the past few weeks or so, this felt like some sort of mellow drama: not that eventful at all. What could possibly beat burning the entire pit of plague victims and then terrorizing sleeping townsfolk?

So Luci got to his feet and looked around once again, his tail flicking behind him. If he were to start searching for this child, it would practically be impossible. He had no idea how big the place was, so it would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack, which he has done. It was awful. All he had to work off of was the surroundings he could barely remember, which was basically just the massive cliff. Thankfully, he could see what he could only assume was the cliff from his dream in the distance. Basing his knowledge off of the dream, the cliff was either near the beach or on it, he couldn't quite remember. In that case, it would be better for him to walk along the shore to reach his destination. It would be entirely possible for him to come across some other people along the way as well, which he slightly hoped for. With this all in mind, the demon set off down the beach.

Luci was walking for what felt like ages, bored out of his mind, even if he's only been going for a few minutes. The uneventful walk to the cliff left him exhausted already and lacking in any motivation to keep going. He would be perfectly fine making the treck if he was with Bean or Elfo because then he'd have someone to torment and to talk to. Yet here he's on his own, no one to talk to or make fun of in any way. The sheer thought of not being able to force Elfo to do something terrible made him frown.
After a few more minutes of walking, a figure could be seen on the horizon. He couldn't exactly make out who or what it was, but from what he could see, they were definitely humanoid. This caused him to perk up, his tail raised from where it had been practically dragging as he straightened up. Another person meant another person to torment, someone else to try and force to make awful decisions. Well, not necessarily force, just constantly nag them by saying 'do it' over and over. As he got closer to the figure, he began to notice that they were shorter than a typical human, which instantly knocked the possibility of them being human off the list. Unless they're a child. If it were a child he would rather drown himself because he currently does not have a good record with children since he was just kidnapped from Zøg's castle by one. Plus, if it were a child, it wouldn't be as much fun to torment them because they would just end up crying and not doing anything.

The demon quickened his pace to try and catch up with the figure. They seemed to have been walking as well, and he didn't want to risk his chances of falling behind. Once he was close enough to the humanoid, he was able to get a bit of a better look, even if it was from behind. Unable to see their face, Luci was only able to make one assumption about what this person was, considering they had hair and had clothes covering the majority of their body. This had to be a child. With a sigh, the demon went around the person and stopped in front of them. They seemed to be about the same height, which wasn't all that odd for Luci at all. When he stopped in front of the person, he was able to get a glimpse at what was either their face or some weird mask, he couldn't really tell. Yet going off the fact their eyes were read, he knew this person wasn't human.
Once he was sure he had the other's attention, he simply went,
    "Hey, how's it going?"

----D A N T E----

[DMC 4] - [Trigger: inactive] - [Primary: Rebellion - Secondary: Ebny & Ivory] - [Axolotl]

A gentle breeze brushes short silver-white hair from his face, back against a tree, slightly sprawled out against it as if he'd been thrown/slammed into it. The faintest of groans escapes the demon hunter as he finally begins to stir, leaning forward and lifing a hand o gently press finger tips to his forehead before taking his hand away so to put his hands on the ground and get to his feet. Nero really could pack a punch with that demon arm. He huffs a bit as he brushes dirt and grass off his red trench coat and pants. "Wow kid. Seems your getting... a lot.... Kid?" He looks around, taking note of how different the surrounding area is different then what he remembers.

Had he gotten knocked farther then he thought? But that doesn't explain the distant sound of water and the strange, unnatural familiarity of the area. He lifts a hand to rough up his hair as he starts heading towards the sound of water. There had to be an explanation to everyhing right? He recounts what had happened that lead him up to this point. Him and Nero were training because the kid wanted to work in the business with him and he kept saying no. So he made a deal with the kid... kid... kid! Thats right, Nero threw him with his devil arm and he got knocked out.

He had some weird dream with some weird kid in it. The place was just like the one in the dream only... weirder. In he dream, it was paradise, no demons to fight, no one bothering him, his brother wasn't a total... that probably should of been the first tip off really. But this place, it almost had a demonic aura to it. It made him itch to do... something. He shrugs his shoulders a bit as his boots finally started sinking into sand. A beach, interesting. How long has it been since he's seen a beach? He can't remember.

He shrugs this off for now as he walks forward a bit more and looks around. It is a water source afterall, which means there should be a village or a dock or something nearby for fishing. Which would lead to a civilization that could give him answers. He walks along to the left until he spots something in the distance. It looks somewhat like a person. Or maybe its a demon. Who knows, but he's still going to be causious as he reaches behind him to grab Rebellion's handle then lifting the other hand. "Hey! You in the distance! You wouldn't happen to know where exactly where i am? And perhaps what you are?" He hopes this person/thing isn't a demon. He was hoping for a vacation here! No matter how weirdly obtained it was.

The last thing he remembers was fainting in the middle of searching for the exit through the cave, with the help of sonju and mujica. He and Emma first believed them to be cold-hearted demons, until they revealed themselves to be 'those who don't eat humans'. In a matter of five days, both of them successfully taught them how to survive in the outside world. Currently, they were almost there until him and Emma were overwhelmed with drowsiness and immediately fell asleep.

Then, he had a dream of an ideal-looking land, filled with comfort and peace. After a few moments, a child not very younger than him, approached him and asked whether he wished to stay. Boy it was an unfortunate mistake to consent with that child, because the next thing you know is that the moment he actually wakes up, he found himself in the same island, but it wasn't the feeling he had in the feeling, the atmosphere was...oppressive. It feels so quiet, as if all sorts of sounds has been shut off. Not to mention it was so uncomfortable. Currently, he wore his usual standard uniform and strangely, his left ear is now perfectly healed. And right now, he found himself lying near a shore. " I should go search for others.. " he mumbled as he turned the opposite direction and walked towards the meadow.

First things first– where is she? Only a while ago they were gonna get out of the cave which was made by deceased vampire trees, with the help of two friendly demons. During that, her and Ray fainted, assuming because of the wound. Speaking of it, her ear is back. Wait, how did that happen?? She has so many questions right now, that will probably be never answered. After being fully conscious, she looked around, scanning her surroundings. It was...just like the dream she had! But not entirely, in the dream she felt so comfortable and...safe. But now, the atmosphere is only filled with melancholy. It was like the world has lost its' colors.

Nonetheless, she decided to investigate and most importantly– find others. If the other kids and Ray are here, she must search for them and reunite with them as soon as possible. Right now, she was standing near a dense forest, which she decided to investigate later on. She can't tell where she is right now, God why doesn't she have cunningness like Ray or Intelligence like Norman?! She even tried to imitate their hobby, which was dissemble of machines, which she failed miserably. Well, atleast she runs faster than them. And Norman...she really misses him. If he was here, then he would've get an logical solution. On the contrary though, she has a hand bow and arrows, too. Thank god Sonju taught her how to use them, or else trouble would've come to seek her more quickly.

Oxain ♦ Esterian ♦ They/Them He/Him ♦ tags: Luci

The young Esterian was walking around for a while looking at the sea creatures being washed upon shore. It was somewhat new to them seeing the animals, except the crab obviously, and the beach. Oxain rarely went outside since they locked themselves up away from everyone though they did go out and explore the streets unfortunately that scares the residents because of what they did in the past, their murderous past. Oxain felt horrible killing the people oblivious to know they were manipulated just for personal gain and fortune also they didn't know what death is until later on. The Esterian's curiosity was piqued when they saw an animal that looked like their necklace's shape, a star. Oxain was about to pick it up until they heard some footsteps hitting the sand approaching to them. They didn't want look behind to see who or what it is Oxain was too focused on the star animal. Their eyes caught the figure going around them which made them feel uncomfortable since the figure was somewhat close. Oxain eyes were now set on the shadow in front of them, they were about to take some steps back until the star animal was on their mind again.

Oxain said nothing, for now, going over to the star brushing pass the shadow, gently picking up the sea creature as if not wanting to hurt it or kill it. Holding the animal it moved a little Oxain assumed it wanted to go back to the ocean so they tossed it in the water a bit far from the shore. The Esterain almost forgot about the shadow being there and as well to reply to the question. Oxain didn't know what that shadow creature is but it sure does look weird so they kept their distance from him. "...Don't know. What are you?" They asked keeping a close eye on them, there might be a chance it might attack or do something, maybe take away their mask. Either way both things aren't good so Oxain's best option was to walk away though they have a feeling it'll follow behind anyways. That reminds them of Conya, always persistent to pester Oxain and try to make them talk a lot even though it fails but the Esterain enjoyed the company from Conya, so bubbly and cheery will try to be there in case Oxain is having trouble with others. But Conya definitely does not look like that shadow at all for sure.

Placing their sleeves in front of their mask as if in thought what to do then a crab appeared at their sight making them drop all options. Oxain started walking up to the crab then crouched a few feet from it watching as it scuttles around picking up small rocks then placing it to the side as if it were building or moving objects out of the way. Their eyes then saw another crab coming into the scene approaching to the other crab then stood still in front of it as the other did the same. What are they doing? As if the crabs knew what Oxain was thinking they started fighting each other which caught the Esterian off guard. Why are they fighting? Oxain didn't like that so they took action and grabbed both of the crabs separating and breaking the fight then threw them at the ocean though both were in good distance away from each other. Well that took care of things. Oxain then realized that the shadow was probably watching them the whole time. Well the beach was fun and all but they were curious about the forest, Oxain started walking to the direction of the forest wondering what to see. Probably more animals they have never seen before or other random people and humanoids. The first thing is better than the second to them.

    Hanzo ` 28 ` Male ` ML ` Tags, Qrow, Lygad

Hanzo watched the smallest of the group with interest- particularly that he had noticed the eyes that was in places they weren't supposed to be. When Lygad asked if Hanzo had named his sword, he was resisting the urge to chuckle. Perhaps he didn't hear Kage speaking just now but he wasn't suprised- they voices were almost the same and Hanzo, was, afterall, wearing a mask so it might be hard to distinct who was speaking. Hanzo's voice has a slight echo while Hanekage only had a more distorted and deep tone. Kage, too, had found it to be amusing. The set of gaping teeth on Ame no Habakiri moved as Hanekage laughed humbly, the eye closing once. "I choose my own name, child." Kage's term of endearment for Lygad was not because of mistaken age but mostly due to Kage's own; he calls everyone as so unless they have been living for thousands of years as he did. Maybe the kid is as old as that, appearances can be deceiving. Kage was, after all, in a sword. You wouldn't expect a blood demon living inside a sword- willingly, even.

"A sound plan." Hanzo commented when Qrow explained what were the both of them planning to do. He had ignored the remark about Qrow's own weapon's name but remembered the name anyway, as he was used to be endearing towards weapons- or atleast, the one he was holding. "A bit related to yours, although we were also looking to find some... food." Hanzo paused so he could remind himself to choose his words carefully. It would not do well if he scared off the only people he had met on this island. "At this point, we'd even settle with your little friend." He said with morbid humor towards Lygad, grinning under his masm at his disturbing attempt at a joke. It was partly a joke anyway. "Don't mind him. Would you agree it'd be strength in numbers?" Strangely, Hanekage was being the tame one in this situation. The usually bloodthirsty demon seemed to have watered down on his usual self. Qrow had tried to perhaps indulge more on what Hanzo had introduced his sword as, specifically the blood demon part, but he wasn't quiet sure if he wanted to truly expose Hanekage.

    Xayah ` 26 ` Female ` LoL ` Tags, Dulce

Xayah patiently listened to Dulce as he talked about his homeworld. She was happy to see him talk about it but she had started to notice the stutter persisting and couldn't help but let her worries get the best of her. Maybe it was more than a scare from some beast- but Dulce didn't say anything so why would he lie to her? He may have just met him but he doesn't seem to be the type to lie. Then, as Dulce went on, he said things about the Void and Destroyer of Worlds, making her blink a little bit. She shouldn't really be suprised that something sinister-sounding —there were void problems back in runeterra aswell— would prey on innocent things, she was very well aware of how easy is that to happen. She felt bad but was happier when Dulce said that it's happier now. She smiled when Dulce told about his pastry restaurant, finding a little chocolate puffball managing a little restaurant to perhaps be the most adorable idea.

Xayah held Dulce closer to herself, thinking that perhaps he was cold and that was the cause of the constant stutters. He had directed the question to her and despite wanting to ask if he was okay, again, she did feel a little homesick. "It's a beautiful place, the forest and the land was filled with magic. From that same magic the Vastayans, my kind, thrive. We come in all shapes and forms too, kind of like you. We are beings of magic of the old times, living the life that was gifted to us." She felt happy reminiscing the old time, then felt frustated as she remembered of the other events. "Then, humans came and take the earth's gifts, claiming that it's their to have. Corrupting themselves with dark arts—" An image of Zed flashed inside Xayah's mind. "—conquering Ionia and taking away the magic away from us." Xayah flared, her steps through the ravaged village getting faster. "You can say that I'm a freedom fighter for my kind— I fight them away and I won't stop until we're free, until magic is free." She stopped, not for dramatization but because her ears picked up something quite unusual. She was hoping that it was nothing but she wouldn't dare to take chances, especially not with Dulce's condition. "Dulce, are you sure you're alright?" Xayah headed to the most nearby house and rested her back against the wooden wall, resting against the shade as she perked her ears around. She wasn't sure what he heard but better safe than never.

Dulce had a little trouble hearing what Xayah was saying though was amazed of her world. A forest filled with magic and her kind thrive with that magic sounds so cool and amazing. The puffball then frowned feeling a bit sorry of Xayah's situation, but knowing she's a freedom fighter for her kind made Dulce happy. She looks tough and resilient to him, Dulce admires those kind of people since he is a bit of a wimp on certain things. He isn't really that confident of himself being a fighter and all but being a pastry chef on the other hand, definitely. The choco puffball wasn't getting any better from this state though he was lucky to not inhale that much toxic dust or else he'd be dead. But he's certainly going to suffer this no doubt about it.

"H-huh? Ah y-yes I am o-okay...Just cold. Y-yeah." Dulce said with a weak smile. He really didn't want to cause any more trouble for her so he might as well keep it to himself of his status condition but play it as if it's just a common cold. That's a good idea, kind of? The puffball then realized she was hiding and was looking for something. He didn't hear anything out of the ordinary from what he can gather though it is possible she can hear things that he can't from a distance. "Is s-something wrong?" Dulce asked her quietly, he was nervous and afraid. There might be something out there hiding in the shadows waiting for a time to strike the two or worse. The puffball felt something hit his face looking up he saw his whip cream melting a little then drooped a bit, well this is worse than expected. If the whip cream is melting, not that much but just a little, that means it got worse than expected. Dulce panicked a bit then took some shallow breaths to calm himself down, it'll pass over. Eventually. Maybe.

    team ultimate !!
“Face it, love — the lil chit lied to us. We’re stuck ’ere till who knows when.”
Shadow growled lowly as he turned to his limey-accented companion, red eyes narrowed in aggravation. “But why?” he snarled. “Why us?”
Spooks rolled her shoulders back into a shrug as she strode forward, placing a hand on the hedgehog’s shoulder. “Beats th’ ’ell outta me. ’S not ev’ry day y’ wake up in a place like this.”

A groan sounded out from behind them. “For the love of— Palm Tree, translation?! What language is she even speaking?!”
Spooks shot a glare back at the dark green hedgehog, scoffing slightly. “’S not my fault yer a complete idjit!”
“What did you just call me, you dumb Brit?!”
“ENOUGH.” Shadow hissed, silencing the bickering Mobians quickly. “We’re not getting anywhere by arguing like kids. We have to figure out a way to get back, NOW. Who knows what chaos is going on back home?”

“Shadow has a point,” Manic chirped in agreement. “Infinite’s still at large, guys. We need to get back ASAP.”
While Scourge grumbled under his breath, Spooks sighed and began walking towards the edge of the forest. “When yer right, yer right,” she drawled. “Jus’ don’t see wot’s th’ point in— EEP!”
Spooks gave a shrill yelp as she staggered forward, nearly tripping over what appeared to be a moving rock. While Scourge couldn’t manage to stifle his laughter, Manic hurried forward to catch her, steadying the bat before glancing down to the little stone construct. “What the...?”

Shadow walked forward, crouching down to look at the little pebble creature. “What is this thing?”

So she was a human. Interesting. Maybe this place would feel more like that universe than his home one. Sure he still interacted with humans on occasion but most of his time spent in their home was to fight off monsters and take down any kind of threats to both them and Skyworld. That truly had limited his interaction with them though he had plenty of experience with them from fighting alongside and against the likes of heroes and legends from other universes. Either way it seemed he was meeting with yet another world's humans though. He was sure if someone from her world had stumbled to fight with him and the others that he may have seen weapons similar to what she had. The weapon was unique enough that he was more than certain he would remember it. As she explained what it was, he gave a small bob of his head. It wasn't much of a description to go off of, but it was enough to get a general idea though in a way it didn't seem much like a weapon like he had thought. Did it only open locked things then? That seemed like an odd concept if it was indeed a weapon. He was one to talk though. His bow definitely didn't look like one at all since it had no bowstring nor did he have to carry arrows on him either. Plus he was sure normal bows couldn't be twirled or split apart to act as two blades like his could. That was a benefit for having a weapon hand given to him by Palutena. It made his work much easier for sure.

"So they unlike things and you have multiple? Interesting," he finally replied. Maybe he should explain his own weapon. It might be a bother given that she hadn't asked about it. He had to come up with something to keep the conversation going so silence didn't settle in again. That would bother him more than anything. "Guess that's a lot different than my weapon. I guess in a way I have multiple weapons though it's quite different that what you have." Physically it wasn't two different things like hers were but in a way it was if he wanted to though explaining that probably wouldn't make much sense. It was best to demonstrate something like that. Without saying another word, Pit grasped his bow in both hands and snapped it in half. To any normal person he probably seemed crazy for doing such a thing but of course he was unfazed by it all. Holding the separate blades in his hands he held looked toward Astra with a lopsided grin on his face. "See. This baby works as two weapons as well though technically it's still only one. Who would have thought a bow could be so useful, huh?" he laughed with a small shake of his head. It probably wasn't important that he had shown such a thing off, but he was at least trying to hold a conversation. That wouldn't last all that long though. Out of the corner of his eye, the angel caught sight of something moving up ahead. At first he hoped it was more people, but his excitement quickly died down with he saw an odd looking creature heading their direction. It was feline in appearance, but it was much larger than any cat he had ever seen though it would fit in with the monsters that he had battled back home.

Quickly snapping the bow back in one piece, Pit made a bowstring made of some sort of light appear along with a similar looking arrow. "Looks like we've got company and it doesn't look all too friendly." He certainly was great at stating the obvious, that was for sure.
