- When the three arrived by the edge of the forest, Kakei examined the place with little interest although he did feel an odd feeling about the place. When Arthur brought it up, he started paying more attention to the surroundings. It did seem a little off and even more closer up, just like the rest of the island- or whatever this place is. The two might not have much of a problem but Kakei doesn't have a magic sword or a wand that can cast magic. He'll try his best to not seem like a burden, he didn't want to drag his two new companions down for a simple reason as that. He had his own strengths, too.
"If it's defence that you need, I've got your back." Kakei assured him with steel determination in his tone. He took off his jacket and tied them around his waist, pulling out his playing gloves from inside his pockets. The blue symbol of waves on the white back, the palms a warm grey. It isn't much, but it helps with his grip. He slid them on as he walked alongside Arthur. He had took off his jacket because it was too humid for him and he didn't want it to get stuck onto anything. His plain black t-shirt did nothing to hide his athletic build, a few minor scars here and there from practices without his uniform on.

- Ezreal minded his own business, walking carefreely with his hands behind his back without saying anything. He was trying to come up with theories of what exactly this place is and why did Ahri recognize him. He felt like he knew her, perhaps in another life but that feeling was only in the back of his head. Space-time, dimension, universes, those kinds of things- he was very well aware of them, just didn't really care. Exploring too much does that to you. He can't rule the possibility out, however.
Upon arriving at the dense forest-packed area, his new companion raised a curious question. "You... want to see the monsters?" He jerked his head in confusion, a smile present on his face otherwise. He was getting peppy, having his usual rush to fight something. Ahri looked like she could deal out some magic- with that outfit and those kitsune tails, it's obvious. "Why didn't you say so? Give me a moment!" Ezreal followed up his question, not letting Ahri answer it properly. He wanted to see what she was capable of, anyway. It shouldn't be hard to find those kind of things he saw earlier, maybe even something bigger. With a flick of his wrist, he teleported out of sight without any warning, leaving only a blink of yellow energy.
It was only a few minutes but then again, this was Ezreal. You can count on him to bring troubles around the corner. Big ones. He desperately grabbed onto the rhino-like creature's biggest horn as it rampaged in a straight line to back where he left Ahri. Unlike a normal rhino, it had three horns on it's nose with varying sizes along with giant impala-like horns, making it a total of five horns. It had it's front as it's blindspot so Ezreal easily controlled it to dash through the trees. He teleported next to Ahri as he made sure it would run nearby their area. "All yours!" He saluted, jumping back and once more teleporting perfectly onto a nearby tree to watch, glee on his boyish face.
