(LOL, yeah. XD That IS what I meant <3 Skip to the party. Since you shmized your post, I'll post. Beware, I say Shmiz A LOT.)
It was about 4:30. And Dante had been late to everyone of his classes! So it took a while to get all his punishments done. In history he was forced to carry all the textbooks into the back and switch them out with this semester’s books and also put away all the maps and hook up the world map above the chalk board. IN English he had to clean out erasers, set out new chalk, and he was assigned an extra assignment. P.E wasn’t so bad, he just had to run some extra laps, and he was good at that. In fact, out of all his class so far, he was the fastest. Which enlightened his day. Computers was the worst though. He had to pull open all the computers, clean them, reboot them, install ALL the classes applications one each of the computers, print out a bunch of tutorials, and even download some onto the computer and make more files and etc. It was pretty horrible.
Which meant, he was late! Again! But he didn’t really care for it. What was the problem with being late anyways? The only time when being on time mattered was in a life or death situation or if you wanted to make a good impression. Obviously, none of those applied to Dante. So, of course, he simply walked across campus with his book bag over his shoulder, not rushing at all. He entered the guy’s dorms and walked through the lobby. A few people sat in silence with books or played games.
He came to his room and opened the door. He lived alone so far. Though there was another bed in the room. No one had moved in yet, so he assumed no one would be rooming with him for a while. Which was a good thing. He didn’t like nosy roommates. The room wasn’t all that special. Two windows, one bathroom, one closet, two dressers, two beds, and bed side tables. His bed was made. A dark blue comforter taking up it’s surface and two pillows. Most of the floor was carpet, which he couldn’t complain about, but it was rather odd colored. Almost a dark grayish green. It was just unpleasant to look at.
He set his bag next to his bed after closing the door with his foot and got ready. He took a simple shower, dried his hair, and looked for some cloths. He wasn’t much of an attention grabber, but why not try this once? Besides, he rarely wore his… special outfit. Dante pulled it out of the closet, the black sealing around it zipped up. When would he be getting another chance to try it out? Well, if they had a school dance, then that’d be one thing. But still. He smirked and disappeared into the bathroom.
As soon as he came out, he didn’t even look like himself. Well, he still looked like HIMSELF, but a different self. A much more handsome self one might say. His hair was smooth back from his face, wearing a rather dashing suit. The color was a very grayish blue, a dark color and the saturation of color barely visible. The cuffs of the jacket reached almost up to his elbows and were fastened with bronze buttons. His pants were creased perfectly, and perfectly emphasized his long legs. Though they slightly scrunched up at the tops of his black shoes. Though, instead of a tie, he wore a black ribbon around his neck, the dark blue vest buttoned above his white flannel shirt.
His face was painted with blue at the edge of his eyes and swirled down to his cheeks. Dante picked up an eye patch. He opened his scarred eye and the brilliant color of blue showed behind his black eye lashes. He pulled the black eye patch over his eye and smirked. He hadn’t had this much fun dressing up before- but hey, why kill the opportunity to confuse some people? Dante placed a porcelain mask over his face. It’s expression blank with narrow eyes. The right one dark, as if there was no eye there, while the other showed his honey brown eye. He tied the rope strings in the back and slyly placed a top hat on his head, sliding his white gloved fingers across the rim. Oh how confused those people would be. And it was always fun to put a dash of mystery in a party. This would be interesting.
He walked out of his room, closing and locking the door behind him. Time to see how this played out. He doubted anyone else had dressed so… well, formally and extravagantly. He got strange looks as he walked through the lobby again- that wasn’t a first. Dante made his way across to the girl’s dorm and through the hall. He pulled out his cell phone from inside his jacket and flipped it open. It was about 5:20 pm. Oh well, like being late ever harmed anyone. He read over the room number once more as he walked past door by door. Finally, he found the right one.
No one was lingering outside- and the door wasn’t open. He rapped his knuckles against the door three times, then waited.
