"How about right here?" Tristan murmured softly, pressing his lips passionately - and if not a bit aggressively - to Kadina's, his arms curling around her waist.

"Stupid? Not at all, monada. I myself can't say I really even... Believe. In love, that is. What's the point of being with one person forever? Especially when you're immortal. I could sleep with every girl in the world in that time if I wanted. So why give up all your freedom? Why make life so boring? Why tie yourself down when you could be out there living your life to the fullest extent?" Alix replied. "I know from personal experia--" he paused, hesitating. He had been in love once. But... He'd rather not talk about it. "I just know that I couldn't live a life like that." he ended, although it obviously wasn't what he intended to say. He just hoped she wouldn't ask what he really meant to say.

"You were in love with that human girl you were telling me about, weren't you?" Jennifer guessed, offering him a pair of large, comforting eyes that were so inviting. In the natural light they shimmered a darker marine-blue, they often 'changed' depending on what clothes she wore. Because they were usually greeny-blue, but wearing dark clothes made them seem more blue. Her arm reached up to place her hand on his shoulder so she could look him properly in the eyes. "And for the record, I'm not immortal. I have one chance at living. You have forever."

The thrill when her body touched Tristan's never ever became familiar, it always came as an exciting shock. Slithering her slim arms around Tristan's neck, she let herself just... relax, yet be somewhat seducingly wild, her lips against his.

"Of course not. She wasn't... Er, my type, I suppose. You'd think that over millions of years of experiance and nights with countless lovers I'd actually know what my type is." Alix chuckled. "And like I said, I don't believe in love. Never did, never will." he lied smoothly, though the tell-tale sign of him lying had appeared; He tended to fiddle with his jewelery, mostly his necklace, when he was lying. Very few people knew that, though. He flipped the amulet adorning his necklace between his fingers, gazing up at the golden-hued sky.

Tristan fell onto his back, pulling Kadina down with him onto his bed with a soft, almost unaudibly muffled squeak from the matress springs. His grip around her tightened, his kiss growing deeper. The fire in his veins heated up every part of him, making his whole body, wherever he came into contact with Kadina, tingle pleasantly.

(I think Kadina&Tristan deserve privacy so shall we give them a time skip? 0-o )

Jennifer nodded but she knew there was something more, something more behind those words. "I'm sure you do, but I'm sure what happened was, you thought you loved her, you were sure of it, but something happened and since then, you didn't believe in it. If it is, I know how you feel. I've lost faith in myself now and then." Jenny guessed, she was probably getting on his nerves by now.

Alix shook his head. "For one, I didn't fall in love with her. I'm not saying I fell in love with anyone, but if I had to choose someone to, it wouldn't be her." he said, his sexy Spanish accent suddenly gone, a serious tone in his voice. "I just don't see the point in being with one person forever. Why deny each other the pleasantries of figuring out if they'd rather be with someone else?"

[Lilo.]

"You'll understand when you truly love someone, I'll promise you. It's like, you'd do anything for your father if he suddenly came back to you, wouldn't you? It's because you love him. It's similiar when you love somebody in a different way, I think." Jennifer shrugged because she wasn't exactly an expert on love. "Everybody says reputations take forever to build but a second to break. I find it the other way around."

"I agree with the reputation thing. It took only moments for me to be labeled as the fabled great Prince who would lead the kingdom out of the darkage when I took over the throne. And now I've been given the reputation of being the greatest King to rule since the great King Marlhen, the one who brought the lands out of the darkage that nearly wiped out every human being on the earth. Even when people think I am dead, or missing to a point of not being found ever, I still can't break the reputation no matter what I do." Alix sighed. "As for the love part, I highly doubt I'll ever be in love. Like I said, I'd much rather not."

((Okay, I HAVE to go to bed or I'm going to fall asleep at my keyboard. It's like 3:30 AM...))

"Yeah, you know how you have that one girl in a school where she'd sleep with any boy if he's good looking given half the chance? The flirt? I got labelled as that girl in a matter of a few weeks. And still I never got to break it down. And then, that's how... this boy went too far for me and then I got pregnant but I gave the baby up, I couldn't bear to have an abortion but I didn't want to keep it, so I put her up for adoption. And I got labelled as a teenage mother. It was awful." Jennifer glared off past Alix, out into space. Literally.

Alix chuckled. "I was labelled the type who could get any girl to sleep with him quite easily. I must say, definitely not an overly bad reputation." he joked. "As for children... Who knows? I leave the second I grow bored. For all I know, millions of humans are running around with monsterous vampire-child and a father who, really, could care less about even bothering to talk to the girl again." he said. "But a reputation such as the one I mentioned... Well, for guys, a reputation like that makes you amazingly popular. For girls... The labelling makes one seem more of a filthy tramp. Quite interesting, isn't it?"

"Yes. I can see why we're labelled as the lower sex now. Although, I have never met a man who is half decent when it comes to house work. Strange huh?" Jennifer commented with a smile that had no meaning- just... a smile, as if she was pondering about something. "But I bet vampires are good at everything."
