"Sort of like a snake bite, but a lot less noticeable. If the vampire is merely taking blood - not changing the human - then it sort of looks like a very tiny hole, sort of like it was made by a needle. If the transfer of venom occurs, it looks more like this..." Alix replied with a sigh, once again pulling up his bracelet slightly to revel the two small neon green holes, each of them circled with a smoky black. "The green is due to the change the venom makes to the skin around the bite, and the black is due to how it reacts to blood. Only this type, the one were the human is becoming a vampire, are noticeable. You could be bitten in your sleep and, other than the slight amount of pain and, surprisingly, an interestingly passionate pleasure, you'd have no idea."

Tristan nodded, his eyes shifting from the menu to bore sweetly into Kadina's for a split second, before flickering back downward. "I think I'll get... Belgian waffles, topped with whipcream and caramel and strawberries." his lips curled into a silly smile. "And I'm getting a lot. A stack that's like two feet tall." he declared with a warm laugh.

"That explains allot." Jenny nodded, because over the years she'd been getting small, hole-like marks all over her neck, arms and chest, and she hadn't known what they were. Up until now. She'd thought they were just mosquito bites but really, who gets Australia where Jenn lives? Exactly, nobody. So know she knew who they culprit of the holes were. Well sort of. It was a vampire but it could be anybody.

Kadina chuckled, throwing her head back, blonde wriggles of hair falling over her face. "You won't be able to walk, you silly, if you have one that big." She opened her arms very wide as if indicating how big two feet was- and because she was a vampire, it was pretty damn accurate.

"Ah, so you've encountered vampires before, no? They must've been quite the masters of the stealth. The pain itself is a bit difficult to bear, but for a deep sleeper, it could be easy. But the unexplainable pleasure... Such an odd feeling that you tend to just insantly know. I had a vampire lover once, when I was human. Beautiful thing, she was. A very stealthy biter, too. She had such an intriguing Russian accent... I myself am originally from Spain, though over the years of changing my voice - mostly so no body would recognize it, but somewhat for interest - my accent has faded away. I was told it was quite the sexy sound." Alix replied with a short laugh.

((I'm totally into Spanish accents currently. Have you ever played Dragon Age Origins? If so, you'll know who I'm talking about when I mention the name "Zevran". I've been like addicted to that game recently, and Zev just has the sexiest Spanish accent...<3))

Tristan laughed. "No matter. I'll just 'glide' like the High League members." his heartwarming laugh was insantly drained out. His eyes darkened as he stared past Kadina, his eyes focused on something in the forest. Nobody could see it, not even a vampire with the best of eyesight. Only he could, yet he wasn't aware of that. His eyes were almost utterly black. He rolled up his shirt sleeve, glaring at the bite mark on his shoulder. The green toxic color had begun to glow, and the black was seeping over more of his skin like charred fog sweeping over the earth. He quickly pulled the sleeve back down, knowing that, to Kadina, it would look like just a normal vampire bite. She would see nothing that he did, yet she'd see his strange behavior. He forced an unconvincing smile. "Ehem. Sorry, thought I saw a werewolf." he muttered - a complete lie, of course - under his breath.

Kadina knew he wasn't acting like himself and it didn't take her two seconds to realize either. "No it's something more Tristan, tell me...." She yearned to know what was making him unlike himself, and she squeezed his hand softly, out of fear and worry. Not many things scared Tristan, she'd learnt. Angry maybe like how she was pregnant, but it didn't scare him. At least, not to her knoledge.

"Oh wow..." Jenny's voice tailed off into the distance, she imagined him with a vampire girl, like she was with him but the other way around. Somebody other than her... it wasn't love anyway, what she and Alix had it was just a little fling. She had to keep reminding herself that.

Tristan recoiled back as though her touch would spread poison. He cleared his throat, his fake smile gone. "It's nothing." he insisted. Of all the things that could've ruined their day... No matter. He wouldn't let it. This was to be the start of a chain of endless perfect days. This was to be the start of his perfect life. This was to be the start of his one-after-the-other favorite days. Nothing could go wrong, especially not something like this... Maybe he'd seen it wrong. Maybe the signal meant nothing. But the bite... It couldn't possibly be mistaken, could it? For the sake of everything, he utterly hoped so.

Alix closed his eyes again, feeling the sun warm him, the warmth seeping through him and filling him with an interesting bliss. His arms, crossed beneath his head, bore multiple very faded scars, scars that the light had taken away. "It didn't turn out well. Not at all. I was an assassin sent out to kill her, and when I could not, she showed me mercy, took me under her wing. I was so young and foolish... If I had been a vampire at the point, I would've known of her plans from the start..."

"No, Tristan." Kadina repeated quite sternly this time, but her voice relaxed when she thought she'd been a bit too harsh, after all if it did upset him she didn't want to make him even worse by being stern with him. "I meant," Her voice softened to it's usual alluring tone. "It does matter, you can tell me anything and if you tell me, I will promise to forget about it for today and we'll sort out whatever's bothering you another time, but please do tell me. You know you can trust me, right?" It sounded more like a question than a statement.

"What do you mean, her plans? Did she try and kill you or something?" Jennifer gasped at the thought- it was just like she was a little kid being told her favourite story over and over, even though every time the little kid would forget the thrill it brought her when the story was told.

"Just leave it alone!" Tristan snapped aggressively, causing a few other people to glance over at his loudness distburing the serenity of the quaint cafe. Not only too loudly, but a bit too rudely, also, in his mind. He didn't mean to snap at her like that, but he'd just become so... Guarded, persay. He'd almost lost her to some other guy, and now his own brother had betrayed him? After that, mingled in with a terrible past, he was bound to be a lot worse than he actually was. You'd think, after what he'd seen and experianced in his years, that he'd be cold-hearted and mean all the time.

Flinching her hands coiled back to her sides. There'd been a few times he'd seen her angry but it had never sent a cold chill through her like that. But now, she seemed like the small little fly under his foot. He was allot stronger than her. Allot more experienced than her. If he wanted he could hurt her. She was vunerable no matter what, because she wouldn't even dare hurt Tristan. In the time that she'd flinched she'd pushed her chair backwards just in case he did lash out on her. "I'm s-s-sorry." She stuttered.

Tristan groaned, lowering his head and running a hand through his hair. People were staring, obviously, but it didn't bug him. He was used to being stared at, especially for his outbursts, which were a lot more frequent a bit longer ago. But never had his anger issues hurt someone so drastically. Kadina's voice sounded so frightened, so hurt, so shocked and disappointed... People probably got the impression that he beat her to make her as skittish as she seemed now. He feared speaking to her. He knew that he wouldn't think about what he was saying, he would lose control of his words, and he'd probably start throwing tables, which wouldn't be the best thing to do in such a public place. Instead, he just pushed his chair back harshly, sending it crashing to the ground with a loud thud that shattered the shocked silence, and stormed out of the cafe while feeling like a total monster. His anger control had never been good, and it looked as though he'd just lost it all these past weeks. He wanted to go back there, to apologize his heart out, to do something that would make everyone go, "awwww!" and wish they were that lucky. But Kadina... She wasn't lucky. She had ended up with a wreck of a guy, a monsterous vampire, an anger-fueled over-protective jerk. But now she was one of him... There was no changing back to her previous life, though she could find herself a better guy. And after that outburst, he had a feeling he was nearing the end of the last straw.

((Forgot Alix last time X3))

Alix shook his head. Now with the mention of his Spanish accent, he brought it heavily into his next words. It was, as promised, a very sexy, seductive tone, one that was no doubt from that of a professional charmer. "She was simply mi amore: My love. And that was what came back to get me in the end." he chuckled, though there was a darkness to his words. "Now, I suggest we switch to a new topic, no?"

((A sort of thing like Alix's Spanish voice the very first guy in the video who talks... That's Zev from Dragon Age, and I am just in love with his voice, I just had to make it known that Alix sounds like that when he's with his Spanish accent.))

(It is lovely.)

Jennifer whistled at the sound of his accent. "And what would this new topic be?" She suggested, leaning back as she relaxed, a wisp strand of hair wriggling over her face, annoyingly. In a swift motion she swept the strand of hair behind her ears. She didn't have any make-up, even though she seemed like one of those girls who'd cake themselves in six inches of makeup, Jenny didn't. She didn't see the real need for it.

Kadina was shaking, but she knew she was going to have to go back to the house. Somebody should be in to comfort her. It was probably her fault for pestering him. Somehow she knew she was in the wrong. Standing, she brushed herself off to stop the tears, ignoring the stares. With all of the dignity she had left, she strode out of the building, heading towards home at a high speed. She was such a blur, her tears weren't to be seen.
