"Wha-what? How did you know I needed Alix?" Kadina stuttered over her words, how did Tristan know, and what if he ever found out...? Trying to look calm, she managed a half-hearted smile. Zire had told her it was going to be hard to get Alix's blood.

"You're not the only one who can mind-chat with Zire. He said that he wants to make sure that none of us are getting that weird flu thing we thought you had earlier." Tristan replied, shrugging innocently. He held out his hand, gesturing for the needle. It'd be fun to stab Alix. Sure, it wouldn't harm him like Tristan preferred, but it would get out some rage that couldn't be considered him just trying to kill his brother.

Kadina sighed to herself, but then thought; well, Zire could of told me. She didn't really mind as much, just that it would of been nice to know that Tristan didn't know the worst thing a boyfriend could ever know. Glancing back up into Tristan's eyes, she grasped his hand. "Let's go to Alix then."

[s y n]

"No." Tristan said gently. "You go. He won't listen to me, maybe he'll listen to you. Bring him back here, and I'll corner him." he said, a devilish look gleaming in his eyes. "Just bring him into the kitchen, and I'll make sure he doesn't leave without our task being finished."

Alix grabbed the girl softly by the arm. She was another vampire, one different from the last. She had even more beauty, and a slimmer, curvier shape. He grinned, sliding his hands down to her hips. "Come on, I won't bite." he assured playfully, exposing his fangs with a fake little hiss. The girl giggled, but put her hand to his lips. "Shh," she murmured, replacing the hand on his mouth with her own lips.

Kadina nodded, kissing Tristan gently on the cheek, before padding into Alix's room. With-out even thinking she swung the door open with a massive force, not even giving the girl a second glance. "Alix, get your butt down into the kitchen or I will have to drag you." Kadina threatened, in a voice she'd actually never used before. A low growl escaped her lips as she gestured to the door.

Alix pulled away from the girl, rolling his eyes. This was really starting to get annoying. "No. You know what, no! I'd rather not have Tristan with another bounty on my head once he finds out the truth. I've almost gotten killed recently because of him, and I'm not doing it again. Not to mention I've been constantly draining my energy by hiding our thoughts, and you've already chased away one of my girls. So my answer is no, and I'm not reconsidering." he growled loudly. "C'mon," he muttered, pulling the girl's hand and leading her towards the shattered window Tristan had thrown him through.

"I'll just have to tell Tristan how it was all your fault... you know he'd believe me. Then he would kill you. So you've got a choice." Kadina told him, ready to follow him if need be. 'Tristan, he's escaping through his bedroom window.' "You either come down for a few moments, or you'll get killed by Tristan. And anyway, Tristan thinks Zire wants to know if we've got vampire flu, not to see who's baby it is!"

"Tristan couldn't kill me if he tried. I may be younger, but I'm much stronger." Alix growled in return. "Besides, don't you think you have to tell him someday? How long are you going to wait? Just out of the blue one day, 'Oh you know how you think that those are our kids? Yeah, about that, they aren't even actually yours!'" Alix hissed. He raised his voice, but kept it low, so Tristan wouldn't hear. "No, I'm not wasting my time on some stupid test that's going to tell us what we already know. Tristan will find out one way or another, and we'll kill each other in battle. There, happy ending!" Alix literally bellowed out the last sentence, not worrying about anyone hearing, for it was of no importance to the secret.

"Shut up!" Kadina screamed at the first thing he'd said, and with her ranting came a harsh slap on Alix's face - nothing major but enough to leave a mark. "All you have to do is just let me take some of your blood, Alix, and Tristan won't know a thing. If you're kicking a fuss I'll have to make out it's all you, it's all your fault..." Her eyes narrowed. "And I would be in Tristan's good-boots again." She was being manipulative, but that was how she needed to be. With a blink of an eye she was suddenly in front of the window. "I've told you, you can do this the hard way, or the easy way." She turned to his girl then, the look on her face so evil it was scary. "Now, duck, you can either just leave and not have to see this, or I can chuck you out and your face will see the floor. Your choice." Her voice, it had changed so much, and being a newborn vampire helped make it... more .. frightening.

The girl snorted and pushed Alix away, stalking out the door. Alix himself smirked. "So that's your plan? You're gonna go tell Tristan on me? Hmm? Really, not a great plan. Because I myself can tell him that I didn't want to, that you were the one who begged me to cause all this. I have the power, literally. I could just let him read my mind and see it all." Alix was now grinning evilly. "I think that's what I'll do. If you want to threaten that you'll go tell Tristan, then I will, too."
