Kadina smiled when Tristan hugged her, just so as to not make him suspicious as of why she was here, but she grinned to at Alix's good-bye, sneakily craning her neck to watch the bush, Alix, for the last time, although it looked like she was just leaning her head against Tristan's shoulder. "I'm sure Alix will hurry up, I'm sure he's a good boy, not at all naughty." She chuckled almost silently to herself - she knew different.

((In the forest, now.))

Tristan growled at impulse. "He's not the greatest kid, but he's family." he muttered. "I gotta go too, I'm in his hunting group - Last minute change. Xena's staying back to talk to you, and I'm taking her place. I'll see you later." he said, pecking her quickly on the lips and then racing off to catch up with the others.

"Oh okay, bye....?" Kadina watched Tristan rush off into the forest to catch up with the others, and she found it a little strange that on the night of her and Alix's fling, when Tristan had got suspicious, Tristan had changed into Alix's group. As long as nothing was found out, Kadina wouldn't mind. She sat down, wondering if Xena would come sooner or later. In a way, she felt a little bit guilty, but hadn't Tristan made her feel guilty already, about the Baby thing, and everything?

It wasn't long until Xena showed up, elegantly leaping out the trees with no sound whatsoever. A hint of a smile spread across her face. "I have wonderful news! I had a dream come to me last night, and I knew instantly that it was a vision from the future. Your having twins, two beautiful little girls." she cooed affectionately. How she loved children, especially little girls. One day, not too far in the future, she'd have a child of her own. She was excited for Kadina, but knew nothing of the events that had just taken place.

Alix had forgotten to mask his thoughts while he running in the hunting formation. It felt guilty to be thinking about this while running alongside his brother. Tristan had no clue... And he never would, hopefully. But Alix's conscience didn't agree with this. He normally didn't feel too bad about things like this, but he knew how much Tristan cared about Kadina. Sure, Alix would never have any other romantic feelings for her than the basic lust, but it still didn't feel right... In his careful thought, he'd ran into Tristan. Everyone behind he and Tristan followed their lead, so everyone swerved off when Tristan did.

"Dude, careful!" Tristan hissed. He had ran into a tree, knocking it clean over. It didn't hurt or anything, it was just annoying. Alix frowned, "Uh, sorry."

"That's great," Kadina gasped, it had always been her dream to have two little girls - be able to plait their hair, tell them everything. To watch them grow into young ladies, it had always been her dream. She wouldn't of minded boys, as long as they were healthy but she had a thing with girls. She prefered to have female doctors, ect. Kadina gazed back into the bush where Alix had been, she felt a tinge of guilt - Tristan had given Kadina her dream and she went and cheated. Not that she loved Alix, it was merely lust, but it was the fact that she'd kissed him, she'd touched him. She sighed. Nobody would need to know however. She was till angry at Tristan.

Twenty minutes later, long after Xena had left because Liam had called her from deep into the forest, a rustling in the trees broke the silence. Something jumped down in front of Kadina, though she could see nothing. A second later, Alix appeared slowly, feet becoming visible first, then the visibility travelling upward. He sighed. His eyes were a dark crimson, showing he hadn't hunted recently; Blood made your eyes bright. "The hunting was a major failure. I got into a little fight with Tristan." he growled unhappily, crossing his arms across his muscular, bare chest.

"You're not hurt, are you?" Jennifer asked, cupping his cheek as she walked forwards towards him. "And whatever over, he didn't find anything out,did he?" Her eyes flashed with worry as she gazed longingly into Alix's eyes, her hair dancing elegantly in the wind as her brow lowered over her misty eyes.

Alix shrugged. He had scars laced upon his arms, but compared to the fights he daily got in - Being the youngest of the "family" - this was nothing at all. He held out his arms to reveal these cuts. "He got mad 'cause I kept pushing him into trees. But no, nothing found out at all." he said, expression blank as he moved away from her, away from her touch. It just felt so wrong now. If Alix could just remember what Xena told him. What she told him about another power he had that was just starting. She said that if he focused very hard, he wouldn't think of the thoughts that bugged him. So he did just that, and slowly, slowly, the guilt faded away until he was able to ghost back to Kadina, putting his arms around her waist and pulling her into another of his passionate, deep kisses.
