There was nothing around to trigger it, but Alix lept up and away from Kadina, landing about ten feet away in a poised crouch. "Tristans coming." he said quickly. "You won't be able to see me, but I'll be here when he leaves." after this, Alix's low monotone voice went silent, and he himself seemed to vanish. That was his other power: Invisibility. He lept up into the closest tree to him, rattling the branches a lot so Kadina could tell where he was. Unlike Tristan, he couldn't mind-talk. He crouched, concealed, on a thick branch. As if on cue, Tristan lept off the top of a tree, landing beside Kadina. Luckily, Alix's power worked so that others couldn't scent him no matter how hard they tried. So Tristan didn't smell the distinct seductive, luring smell of his brother wafting all around Kadina.
Tristan didn't like the hunger he saw in Kadina's eyes. It wasn't a hunger for blood, but a lusting hunger, for something else. He didn't know what it was, but he wasn't able to read her mind to find out; Little did he know, Alix had gone to work hiding both of their thoughts. He jogged over to Kadina, glancing up at the waterfall as he did. "What in the world are you doing out here? I was worried." he murmured gently, reaching out to take her hand.
