Jade's blush was pretty dark by now, "It's.. i-it's a-alright." she stuttered, gently laying a hand on his cheek.

Zalyon nodded again and hugged the kid closer to him, a sigh escaping his lips

Jade put her hands in her pockets, "Let's get back to the warehouse." she murmured, looking up into Zalyon's scarlet eyes, then smiled nervously. I've only known him for about two days and we've kissed? Scary fast relationship, Jade thought with a sigh.

Kadina's glittery eyes gleamed - they were more of a lighter shade of gold then Tristan's, a creamy gold, a liquid gold, much like the sand that brushed against her feet. "How did you find out about this so beautiful yet quiet place? It's amazing." Her eyes scanned the horizon - he was right about the sunset. "And, if I only knew what my powers were." she pointed out, leaning her head in the direction of the heart. "I am so lucky," she repeated. "Why did you choose me, and not them super-model-blonde-richer-than-daddy's-accountants girls?"

(I think I know what her power may be - Visions, like Alice of Twi. but, it would be kinda awkward :L But the first time she will pass out when she has the vision cause' she's shocked and she doesn't know what's happening hehe.)

Tristan scowled. "I can't stand the type. Thinking they're better than everyone else. Air-head cheerleaders, getting whatever they want, thinking they buy their way out of things." he said with obvious disgust. "You're so much more different. I remember when I first met you. You were sort of shy at first, but seemed to be quite magnetically attracted to me. I figured it was nothing at the time, seeing as with my natural vampire...ness, all mortals find me intriguing. But you were different than everyone else... And before I knew it, I was completely locked. You probably don't remember the time when I got cold toward you, but that was because I was scared you'd get hurt or find out the truth or anything. But there was nothing that would scare you away." he smiled fondly, putting an arm around her to squeeze her shoulders gently.

Kadina smiled, she hoped he wouldn't ask her the same question, but about him. It would take her a while to gather an answer, but she'd try. It was just, Tristan was more than perfect. "Really? I can't imagine you cold towards me." Kadina laughed, ruffling Tristan's hair playfully, running her fingers through it, before she curled up in a tight ball and sighed. "You're lucky , you know that. For having a very close family, I mean, I know I do now, but before ... At least now I'm a vampire, I can forget those unwanted times."

"Hmm, yes. I can't wait for you to meet the family." Tristan chuckled. "There's my three sisters, Lidia, Serena, and Xena. Then my brothers, Kale, Liam, Alix, and Jayk. My 'parents', Zire and Essa. And those are the main family members, not counting cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews, neices, and not counting the sister you've already met, Selena. All that. I know they'll love 'ya just as much as I do, though." he said, kissing her head softly. "It'll be great."

Jade looked down, not trusting herself with him... especially after the... ahem, kiss. She followed Zalyon back to the warehouse, thinking about the kiss...
