((Oooh awesome! I'm so excited!))
The sunlight bore down upon him, burning his eyes. Tristan squinted, having been so used to the darkness... He awoke to find himself in a meadow, one that he recognized. Of course they had blacked him out again - They didn't let anyone but their own ranks know the location of their headquarters. Scars covered him, blackened bruises spangled across the length of him. A scar slashed upon his right eye, marks covering his bare back that looked as though they came from some sort of razor-like whip. Cuts flickered here and there, blood still evident. Bite marks that looked as though they were from some sort of gigantic, monsterous creature. All in all, he looked utterly beaten and desperate. Until you saw his face. His jaw set, locked in a grim frown, his eyes with an unbelievable strength in them that, after all he'd obviously been through, still read a simple message - Bring it on. While that was seen, his whole look suggested that he hadn't had enough to keep him from being cocky, his entire being saying challengingly, "Is that the best you've got?" He hadn't changed much, apart from appearance. Still as attractive as he was before, but with a more dangerous, mysterious, strong look to him. He rose, rolling his muscular shoulders back, and trying to grasp his bearings. He was in the meadow that he had loved when he was a much younger vampire. It was only five or six miles from his home, he knew. But that was not where he was headed. He was headed wherever Kadina was. The worst pain that befell him in that terrible place was the heartache he felt from being away from her. He was off like a bolt of lightning, shooting toward where every fiber of his being pulled him - Where he knew she was. But he knew he could see her just yet. He could not just go find her. No, no matter how badly he wanted to, needed to, he must return to his family first. Shutting the door behind him, he caught the relieved, affectionate, loving stares from his family members, who remained silent since they knew it was better to leave him be for now. He simply jogged up to his room, took one look at the picture of he and Kadina, and felt the ache in his heart maximize by a million. It was physically painful now, sending a horrid burning through him. He bit his lip, knowing that he wouldn't be able to fight the need much longer. In a mere second, he had lept out the already broken hall window, and was racing toward where he knew she was.
The Shadow Wolf's head snapped up. A proud smile laden upon his face, he watched the opening to the waterfall, waiting, simply waiting for what he knew would arrive soon. "He's coming." he said simply, knowing Kadina would instantly know exactly what he meant. After that he was silent, staring out onto the opening, waiting for his eyes to fall upon the proud, strong stature of the young man he knew so well.
