Staring at the spot where the the god, Apollo, had stood, he was speechless honestly. Though he didn't let it show. Ares simply
stayed silent, the knife he always had on him dancing around his fingers. This was annoying, was his first thought. Clicking his
tongue, the son of Aphrodite turned away, averting his gaze to stare at the ground. Work together, what a load of crap. Ares al
ways goes solo. Others tend to drag him down, and he honestly doesn't have the time to save both them and do what he has to
do. Biting his bottom lip, Ares finally stood up. We'll all die he repeated in his mind. Pathetic. Brushing off his clothes, Ares wa
s just sitting under a tree, he expected it to be a normal, boring day. But obviously, he was wrong. Throwing the knife in the
air, Ares easily caught it again. He made his way out of the alleyway, and the first thing he was greeted with? Cries, screams. P
eople running for their lives. Looking up, it didn't take him long to catch sight of what was causing all the chaos. He had read a
bout this, the nemean lion. But only in human books. Spinning the knife in his hands, Ares grabbed his hood and threw it over h
is head, letting it cover his face as he began to walk towards the cause of the chaos, he was small and light. Which made it eas
y for him to weave between the crowds. He hated physical contact, and barley managed to avoid it with the amount of
people running. It didn't take long for Ares to be standing right where the chaos started. Damn the thing was tall. Honestly, why
was he even doing this, he couldn't careless. Maybe it was because of his demi-god genes. Being the son of Aphrodite meant love
Ares only used it for his own benefit though. Making people fall heads over heels for him to get what he wants.
Grabbing the knife that was settled on his hip, just out the corner of his eye, Ares managed to catch sight of a small group of pe
ople. They weren't running, or screaming. Ah, so he wasn't alone. That was good, I guess. Looking up again, Ares blinked in surpr
ise and was barley able to duck in time when he saw a giant tail coming right at him. Dropping, Ares clicked his tongue and tugg
ed his hood off. His gaze went back to the small group of people. If they were trying to figure out a plan, they better do it faste
er.

Falling back with a yelp, Min-seo was completely caught off guard. God! It's am actual god! her mind screamed. She wanted to
open her mouth, to ask so so many questions but the young girl was cut off by the god before her. And when he left, Min-seo w
as still in shock, her eyes wide and jaw dropped. Her hand was clenching around the giant scythe which was strapped to her ba
ck with vines. Staring at the emptiness in front of her, the demi-god was silent. She was still struggling to process the informati
on. Others? Others like her? Demi-gods? She had so many questions and they were still unanswered. Man, how she wanted to cry,
Quickly shaking her head, Min-seo tried to clear her thoughts. There was danger, people were in danger. But what could she do t
help... Her power was literally just controlling plants. Gripping her hair, Min-seo's mind instantly went to her little dark place ca
lled self degrading. She couldn't do it... The others could, they were so much stronger than her, she'll just be in the way. Feeling
her eyes tear up, Min-seo cursed quietly under her breath, she was crying again. Wiping at her not yet fallen tears, she had com
pletely forgotten where she was, too focused on trying to get rid of the tears in her eyes. And then she heard it, the screeches.
And that seemed to snap her out of her thoughts. Grabbing her scythe again, Min-seo darted towards the sound. She skidded to a
halt and was once again, struck by self-doubt. The thing was huge! Standing at the edge of the time square, she watched as wha
t looked like four horses darting around, snapping at anything that was moving. And Min-seo was frozen in place. Her breath got
caught in her throat. Run her mind told her, but her body refused. Her grip was so tight around her scythe that her knuckle
s began her turn white. Stupid body, move!
