Skye sat in the courtyard with his guitar on his lap and Rioku at his feet. He strummed a tune and tapped his foot lightly to keep time. He had a pad of paper beside him and wrote something after a few moments of playing, then went back to playing his song again. The birch guitar made such a nice sound that even the softest note would echo.

Mayia was roaming the halls of the academy. Lost again. She had a sketchpad and a lead pencil clutched in her hands while she peered around each corner. Then with a sigh, she gave up. She was in class, drawing, but it was late now and she didn't even know where her dorm was.
