>> Again, Kora nodded. Her heart was soft with sympathy for the girl; especially her brother. A soldier and an artist were two very different things, and her brother must be miserable there. "Yeah, I had a sister. She's twenty-three now, but the last time I saw her, she was eighteen." Kora tugged again at her camisole. "When she graduated, she moved to Australia with her boyfriend. We were both born in Aussie." Kora couldn't remember much of Australia, although she remembered it being very beautiful there. She was about two or three when she moved, so her memories were very faint and foggy, and never had the chance to pick up the lovely Australian accent that her sister has. And, her boyfriend, which was arguably the most gorgeous thing Kora had seen in her life- she and Amber still gush about him when they talk. Kora had known that Zane had been planning on proposing to Amber for a few months now, and Amber was still in the dark about it. But it had been a little while since they had talked, and now Kora wasn't sure about her marital status. She'd at least message me if something happened... Kora thought, and panic struck her as she thought of her and her sister's ties being cut off. Quickly, Kora pushed the thought aside, reassuring herself she had only been busy. Her feet itched for nightfall; she knew that night here was day there. That was one thing that made communication hard. But, knowing Kora, she'd stay up all night just to get a wisp of conversation with her sister.
