An inquisitive little minx Kora was, and she had to wonder how the water actually stayed in the cone without leaking out the bottom or soaking through. Maybe it was the wax on the paper. One of the girls- the girl who was talking to that one guy in the hall?- held out her hand in greeting. Kora accepted the offer, glad to see that not all of the girls at the school were stuck-up little snobs that infested most schools like the vermin they were. "Kora," she responded, mentalling nothing how much she loved the name Alice. Like, Alice in Wonderland. Kora had always been fascinated by that book series, and she hoped they had been brought with her. "Nice to meet you, Alyce." Nauti added, pinning it to the end of her name. Might as well add something nice to it, too. After all, allies were essential in school- Kora wasn't one to be rude. She tugged awkwardly at the tight cami, hearing the fibers snag and snap on her peircing. Kora cursed her cheeks, which she felt still heated- it didn't quite make sense to her how she can be so shy at first, and then be a non-stop social butterfly with her friends. No, it didn't make sense at all, and Nauti hated the things that confused her, the things she didn't understand. Kora hated being the dark about anything, whether it was for her own good or not... however, that was far more dramatic than simply not understanding why she was shy around new people.
