- He'd been in this part of Japan for a few good weeks, getting himself settled in and familiarized with the new culture that he now found himself a part of. For the most part...things were going okay. Other than the looks of hesitation and uncertainty that most natives gave him whenever he went out into public, Ezekiel felt like he was doing just fine. He managed to bust some thugs just yesterday - the douches were bullying a cat - and his usual physical training wasn't impeded by his new environment. The only problem he had at the moment...
Was. This. Damn. Tie.
"What is the point...?" His deep, naturally husky voice held a tint of genuine annoyance, as the tall, chocolate-skinned teenager left his apartment room. The uniform in and of itself wasn't too bad. A gray...blazer, he think his father called it. Short-sleeved white shirt. Slacks. And his black and golden sneakers. But the thing that confused him the most...was the bloody tie. As red as a spanked bottom, it felt more like the offending piece of clothing was trying to end his Hero Career before it even started. Talk about kinky. Too bad he wasn't too interested in choking. "Tozz feek!" With a growl, Ezekiel ripped the tie off and tossed it over his shoulder. As an almost instinctive reaction to his aggression, a sudden, bright bolt of golden energy blasted from his glaring blue eyes, slamming into the tie and incinerating it into small, fading particles of light that slowly floated away.
He exhaled, and all of his annoyance faded away. A relaxed, bemused smile tilted on his soft lips. "That's better." Resting his hands in his pockets, and ignoring the slight breeze of the stale apartment wind breezing against his partially exposed chest, Ezekiel whistled a low, melodic tune as he made his way out of the building.

Now, the frustrating part about first days at any academy...is the supreme lack of knowledge when it comes to directions. Sure, he roughly knew the actual direction he'd need to head if he wanted to get to U.A...but other than that, he knew absolutely nothing. His dad told him the address and stuff, but he was too busy glaring at the man and feeling annoyed by his entire situation, that he completely missed everything the ass told him. So...more than likely, he would be late on his first day.
Though, now that he thought about it...did he really care that much? Ezekiel pondered it for a quick second. I don't really care. Good to know.
With a relaxed, casual sigh, the foreign exchange student began making his way down the street, ignoring the brief glances and looks he received from the other citizens. He was used to it already - but some of the whispers were new. They took notice of his uniform, and how pristine and new it looked - a farcry from his usual outfits of worn jeans and bomber jackets graffiti'd with hieroglyphics. He gave one particularly vocal woman a small, sharp glare, and she swiftly scuttled away with a loud 'eep'. His lips tilted downwards. "Leeches." Thank the Gods that he hadn't decided to become a Hero solely to protect people like that.
As he made his merry way towards the Academy, a small, brief scuttling noise from a nearby alleyway distracted him. Stopping his brisk walk, Ezekiel rose an inquisitive eyebrow, taking his right hand out of his pocket. That...could've been a rat. Or a possum. Or a hobo. But something in his gut...told him to check it out. Why not? If it did turn out to be a criminal or villain leading him to his death...then at least he'd get some exercise before class, yeah?
He stepped into the dark alleyway, his blue eyes almost glowing in the shadows as he glanced around. Darkness...wasn't really an issue for him anymore. With only a twitch of a muscle, a golden aura of light emerged from his brown skin, shrouding him in a cloak of what seemed to be some sort of holy aura. His left hand still in his pocket, and his right one lightly tensing at his side, Ezekiel glanced down the now lit-up alleyway...
And paused, as he took notice of a small, huddled figure sitting against the wall, with his - or her - eyes closed. He really couldn't tell...but they didn't seem like they were that much older than him. Rather, they seemed younger, judging by the rather large size difference. A bolt of...sympathy shot through his chest. How long ago was it, when he was simply an urchin, scrambling around for food and drink for him and his mother? Years...but that lifestyle never left you.
Ezekiel knew he had class to get to...but he couldn't really stop his feet from taking him closer. Neither could he stop himself from crouching beside the shorter figure, his golden aura dimming to a much less bright vibrancy. Wouldn't want to blind 'em.
"I'm going to assume that you're still alive, sadiq." Ezekiel tilted his head lightly to the side, a small, genuinely friendly smile taking the place of his previous frown. "What are you doing here, in this dreary place?"
