Ashwell realized he brought this conversation to almost an end. He looked at his book, making sure it didn't seem as if he was talking to himself inside his head. "So Skylar, where are you from?" he asked trying to make sure he didn't ruin this conversation. He flipped the pages of his book as he skimmed through.

Professor Fairgood opened his window before sitting at his desk to go through some of the lectures he would be giving. As he flipped through his papers and books he heard his owl fly through the window and onto the perch in the classroom. Noticing the letter attached to his owl, taking it he began to read. The letter said he was to meet the students at the docks and help with bringing them to the castle.

He smiled innocently as Sarina got flustered, as if he didn't know why she was. "I will, thank you." Lee-Jae replied, as he glanced back into his mirror again, looking at himself. He did look up a bit as he noticed the movement from the corner of his eye, watching briefly for a few moments as the window was opened and the owl was allowed out to fly and stretch its wings. He put up an arm to shield his face and hair from the wind that blew in through the window.

He was a little surprised that Ashwell seemed to want to continue the conversation. He didn't think that he was that interesting to learn more about. Still, Skylar glanced up from his book again. "England." He replied, then figured that he should probably elaborate. "Um... more to the East, though. It's pretty nice, and the village I live in is a mixed community of Muggles and Wizards, so it's quite interesting." He then asked, returning the question, "What about you?"

After a brief pause where she stood at the window and watched her owl flit off into the distance, Sarina returned to her seat, deliberately leaving the window open. The fresh, cool breeze filling the compartment was nice, albeit a bit strong. She pushed the owl cage off the seat next to her, leaving it on the floor in front of her. The placement still annoyed her, so she eventually got up and slid the empty cage into one of the overhead compartments. She looked across at Lee-Jai and snorted. "There's a bug in your hair."

He was frowning at how the window hadn't been closed yet, and he was about to get up and do it himself when Sarina mentioned that there was a bug in his hair. "What?? Where??" he asked, frantically, and started brushing his hands through his hair, in an attempt to get rid of it. "Get it out, get it out!" he demanded, and he switched to looking in his mirror to see if he could see it. The only thing worse than bugs, in his opinion, were frogs and toads. Yuck.

He laughed lightly. "I suppose it is, now. I'm sure I recognised you from somewhere." Desmond said, and then he gave her questions a quick think about. He was not quite sure why she asked what his favourite food was - that would take a little more time to consider. "Um... I think that my favourite class has to be Potions. It's so interesting! As for my favourite food... I'm not too sure. What about you?"

Poppy acknowledge Desmond responses with quick nod, her eyes pondering over this with quick movement to study him quickly, as to not to stare at him. "Yeah, I guess I really do have one of those faces. And I'm glad that I'm talking to you know anyway because I'm in dire need of a good human to human conversation" she admitted sheepishly. "And my favourite classes are charms and transfiguration" she replied.

"Sounds interesting," Ashwell claimed as he listened to Skylar. He heard the question get asked back and cleared his throat, "Im from Scotland, from a small village as well. Its right near the sea, which is one plus about living there." he said with a slight chuckle. He had always loved the ocean, it was a safe place for him if he ever need time alone.

Nuse Ro'meve bustled about the infirmary making sure all the cots were set up and the potions organized. She knew this would be a hectic year, especially with all the foreign exchange students coming.
