Felicity kept her head ducked down, glancing up every few moments. That was when she saw Avery slide on a pair of sunglasses and look over at her. She knew she was done for. Avery’s face broke into a smile and she jumped up from her table, hurrying over. “Felicity!” She cried. Felicity visibly flinched. “Who’s this? You don’t have friends! Oh no, I didn’t meant it like that.” Babbled the mad woman, “Let me see your face, I bet you got prettier. It’s been two years!”. Felicity was slowly sliding down in her seat, her hood still down. Avery grabbed her by the arm and lifted her from the seat with total ease. She must have been wearing some of her gadgets under her clothing. Avery was extremely tall, yet Felicity was only 5ft 2, causing her to dangle in the air for a moment before Avery realised and released her. Felicity landed with a thud. Avery had her cheeks pinched before she had time to breathe. “P-please let go.” Felicity gasped, her cheeks hurt. Avery let go at once and patted her on the head, “I’m sorry, it still feels like you’re the little eight year old Sky adopted.” She cooed. Felicity took a moment to compose herself before mouthing ‘I’m so sorry.’ to Peter. Avery tapped the side of her sunglasses and stared at Peter for a weirdly long time. “Parker, Peter. Wonderful to make your acquaintance.” Avery threw her hand out enthusiastically. Felicity was cringing into her jacket again. Avery hadn’t beeen friends with Ida for years, but she was as crazy and over friendly as ever.

After the battle, and when everyone went their own ways, Oliver also separated off from the group, though reluctantly, but he figured that no one would want him to stick around. After all, there were other things to focus on. He decided that he just wanted to figure out how he ended up here, and how he could get back. Things were slightly different, and that was off-putting. And it also seemed that his universe had been several years ahead of this one, considering the differences. It was unnerving, but at least he sort of knew his way around New York anyway. He also figured that he should try and find somewhere to rest, since he'd definitelt pushed his use of his powers to the point of over-exertion.

After he left the cafe, Blaise just walked down and around the streets of New York, before eventually settling on going to Central Park. Hopefully something interesting would happen... he'd already gotten an alert that there had been some robots earlier, but those had already been dealt with. Ugh... maybe it was soon time for him to move. Find someplace else that would offer something interesting. His mind wandered to the job offer from earlier, but he pushed it away. Working in a lab was not his thing. He wanted to be in the middle of a fight, both sides trying to tempt him to stay or defect. People made great bargains when they were desperate... he hoped that he wasn't going to turn into one of those people. What a depressing thought.

After her heart had stopped racing, Marla pushed away from the wall she had braced herself against. If she wanted to be successful, all she had to do was get used to people. Well, her father had said that. It didn't help much. With a shake of her jead, she headed back towards her lab. Unfortunately, that also meant walking right past the most popular starbucks in the area. As she attempted to duck past the crowd, her eyes were caught by a flash of green and her instincts told her to stay. Looking once again, her eyes fell upon the woman who had made her way inside, clearly the centre of attention. Rather than trying to get her attention, Marla simply pushed herself against the wall, as far from the crowd as she could, and watched.

Angelica stretched her wings, her skin glowed slightly as she used her magic. The horse under her hands, nickering in pain, quieted and she looked at saw it had faded to the afterlife. She whimpered and a tear fell from her eyes. "Goodbye, Murrellow." she whispered and the angelic horse faded away and suddenly she found herself kneeling in the central park of a city. Her white robe and white wings must've caught someone's eye already.

Shard fought to remain awake but was knocked out. Three hours later she found herself in a alley of the city, her leather fantasy armor cracking as it had dried some. She walked into a street and looked around.

Bailey looked up from reading the first book of the series Royal Assassin 'Secrets' in the corner of her studio apartment and glanced at the clock. "Coffee time" she mumbled to herself and wandered over to her coffee machine, only to discover she was out of coffee pods. Groaning, she came to the conclusion that she would have to buy more and decided to head out when she realised she was still in a loose, grey, wool dress. Putty on light blue ripped jeans, white-and pink Adidas and a stripped crop shirt, she headed for the door, grabbing a plain white jumper on her way out. Chucking it on, she brought her braid to her right shoulder and continued out the door. Jogging for a bit, she felt her wings materialise out of her back and she flew a few steps before hiding them again. Looking around her to make sure no one saw, she accidentally bumped into a young man around her age. "Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry. I didn't see you there. I'm not usually that clumsy" she looked up, trying to control her embarrassment and met his blue eyes. "I was just on my way to get a coffee. Want to come with me? It's my treat, especially after my rudeness" she offered.
