Pietro Maximoff | Male | Quicksilver | Tags: Clint Barton
He had been watching the clock, feeling quite impatient already, though he froze when he heard a familiar voice adressing him directly. Glancing over, he noticed that Clint Barton, the famous Hawkeye, was indeed sat next to him, and in a bit of a disguise, too. “You didn’t see that coming?” he quietly comments, before giving the guy he had saved the life of seven years ago a small grin. That comment was confirmation that it was indeed him, more than anything, and it felt fitting as the first words he would say, with almost a hint of Deja Vu. They were the first words he had said to Hawkeye, after all. “I don’t think anyone would have wanted to believe me, if I just showed up after being presumed dead... And I know that my sister would have killed me all over again for it, as well” that was a more jokey comment. He didn’t like having to be serious all the time. “Stark probably would have been sure that I was a robot, and I don’t think he would want to deal with any more robots any time soon” It’s been seven years, now. He’s probably less weary around robotics again. Pietro then jumps up to his feet, after he had glanced at the clock again “What luck, you caught me just as my shift is ending. I’m sure you’d rather talk somewhere that isn’t a library, where it’s meant to be quiet” Oh, if only he could just run away and escape all responsibilities. But, no, he had helped the Avengers out one time before being presumed dead, Clint was probably right to be angry, and he knew that he was going to have been found some time soon. Nobody, not even the fastest man alive, could hide forever. Not when there were cameras and Agents everywhere. Plus, he knew he eventually had to talk to the Avengers again soon, hiding was starting get boring after seven years of nothing happening
Peter Quill | Male | Star-Lord | Tags: Open
Nothing happened for quite a while. Peter Quill looked around the area he was currently walking in, seeing not much different that he could recognise. Aside from the fact that he still had no clue where he was exactly. Earth had gotten really confusing since he was last there. Eventually seeing a place with a lot of plants compared to everywhere else, presumably a park, he decides to walk through it to see if anything might be happening there. The sound of fighting, first, before it stopped abruptly, and then talking. All this happening not too far off. He thought about it and decided that, ultimately, it probably wasn’t a good idea to go TOWARDS the fighting people while in an unfamiliar location. So, he passes by, soon coming across another park exit that leads to more building and shops. He would fly to have a look around, but people probably didn’t see random humans just randomly start flying (admittedly, via his rocket boots) around in the middle of the street.
Ant-onio | Male | Ant | Tags: Ant-Man
The cafe door had opened from a random person and, in an instant, a tiny ant had flown into the building while keeping low to not be spotted by anyone. Upon spotting who he was searching for, and reaching the table of that person, he flies up and lands on the table, where a group of other ants were just hanging around a pile of sugar. Ants that he did not recognise, so they were most likely wild ants. He then glances over to the person he had flown all the way here for, Scott Lang, the man who could become the size of an ant as if by magic, but only while in a specific outfit. Ants did not understand science, so Ant-onio did not understand exactly why it had to be that specific outfit. All he knew was that Hank Pym, the first person who could magically turn ant-sized, wanted to be sure that Scott did not get too stranded without an ally. That was why he was here. It had taken a while for him to reach the opposite side of the country, ants couldn’t always travel as fast as humans could, but at least he managed to arrive. Several of his brothers had also set off, but most of them got lost, and the dreaded giant winged creatures caught a few others. Plus, it would seem odd if an army of winged ants just showed up at a cafe one day just because of this one guy.
