Cassie briefed looked up when her sister leaned close to the boy. For a moment she was confused as to what her sister what doing. She kept reading, every so often, glancing up at the two of them. Cassie couldn't comprehend what on earth they could be whispering about. She remembered the boy, Jaebum mention something about Evelyn being a 'unique ravenclaw' but had no idea what it could mean.

Eve’s grin grew and she tilted her head to the side. She dismissed his question with a wave of her hand. Instead, Eve responded to his last comment, “And why would that be?” she asked, teasing. She knew exactly what Jaebum had in store for the new, gullible witches and wizards who dared to get in his way. When the boy reached for his robes she glanced down at her casual clothes. Eve was wearing a her favourite light brown skirt and a tight black top but soon she would have to ditch the outfit for the not-so-fashionable school uniform.
Evelyn had barely even registered that her sister was still in the compartment as them, distracted by the perplexing boy.

Evelyn sat in the compartment alone, reading fussing Bandit who sat next to her. She had put her earbuds in and had started playing songs on her IPod nano, listening to them through her headphones. She felt the train start to move and Bandit huddled closer with the sudden movement. She stroked him comfortingly with her book in front of her, reading in silence, feeling rather lonely despite the comfort she had from her best friend, her little Siamese kitty Bandit.

Had ran through the barrier without even saying goodbye to her parents first. Finally, an escape from her whiny parents and a break from the constant travelling! Running into the platform, she strode through the crowds of people, and being tall and bright ginger made her stick out like a sore thumb. Bullet sat upon her shoulder, letting out a screech as soon as he saw an owl, and it belonged to a first year who jumped back in fear when Alice walked past while Bullet squawked next to their ear. Quickly piling her things into the trains luggage compartment she took her rucksack and boarded while Bullet still rested on their shoulder. Flinging her bag on to one of the compartment seats she sat down and stretched out, rather relaxed. Finally she would get to return to Hogwarts, which she had been awaiting the whole summer. No more sickeningly boring travel, or annoying parents. She would get to leave that all behind, and this year she had managed to even convince her parents to let her stay at Hogwarts over Christmas while they went on business trips. So, for the rest of the year she would be studying magic, running around the castle, getting into trouble with her friends and playing Quidditch, now that she was made the team captain. Yep, this was gonna be a good year for Alice, now she impatiently waited for the train to leave this God awful place behind.

Conny nodded along, listening and laying with her fellow professor and waved as she left "Good seeing you professor! I'll be joining you in the teachers compartment soon!" She called as the woman left. Conny then looked at her watch and stuck her head out the doors "FINAL CALLING!" She yelled "HOGWARTS TRAIN DEPARTING NOW! LAST CHANCE!" She yelled through the station, and after a few final stranglers got on the train whistled and the doors magically shut, and the professor held onto the rail as it jolted forward to start moving. The professor moved down the train, looking in in some of the compartments until she reached her own private teacher one at the end of the train, with some professors already in there. Professor Mutare put her special briefcase into the holder above and took a seat, getting out a notebook and starting to flick through, jotting down plans for her future lessons.

Alex mentally slapped himself for leaving Amber alone in his train compartment as he had gone to the bathroom. Now he didn't know where she was. He searched frantically around the train, running but trying to not bump into anybody. He caught a glimpse of her familiar tail sticking out of an open compartment.
He sprinted to her, fulling opening the compartment door, but then proceeded to trip over his own foot, falling to the ground. He got up quickly, hoping nobody was in the compartment. Unfortunately, there were three people in the compartment. Yixing, who was Alex's one and only friend at the school, Mika, a girl who he sort of knew, as they were both in Hufflepuff, and another boy who he had seen around before, but didn't know.
"I'm so sorry, I was just trying to find my cat, I'll um, leave now," he said, reaching down to pick up Amber, but the cat jumped onto the seat, then laid down to rest right next to Mika. Alex flushed a bit, embarrassed, but knew that Amber was a stubborn cat, and if Amber decided to rest there, she would stay there, and fight Alex if he tried to move her.
"I, er, I really can't get her to move if she wants to sleep here. Is it okay if I can sit here?" He asked, hoping they wouldn't reject him, otherwise he would be embarrassed to no end.

Though he was still reading, and had settled into quite a calm state of mind, he was thrown out of it when he heard the sudden soft snap of a book being closed. Skylar glanced up on instinct, towards Professor Roesing, somewhat confused, his eyes being drawn towards the small tome that the Professor was holding. He wasn't sure if he should say anything, or ask what had happened. But then, the Professor seemed to almost stumble towards the door to the compartment, and lean on the frame. Well, he certainly couldn't stay silent now, even though he was growing more concerned and terrified. Skylar closed his book, and set it aside, before asking, quietly, "Professor? What has happened?"

Sulking at being ignored, Lee-Jae loudly slammed the compartment door shut again, and stalked off to go and find someone to complain to. He just had to make sure they were actually someone he wanted to talk to. It wasn't long before he spotted the Head Boy and fellow Slytherin, Jihoo. Finally. Someone he could respect around here. Lee-Jae approached Jihoo, with purpose. "Jihoo! How was you summer?" he didn't wait long enough to let him answer, "I have some complaints already that I simply must vent about." Lee-Jae started, then went on to tell him what happened on the platform, with Eunhae and that Gryffindor, and also about how he'd just been ignored by a couple of other students when he asked to sit in their compartment with them.

xxxxkion's mouth dropped open with a soft oh. "that makes sense," he rubbed the back of his neck. "should have thought of it. you're welcome to play with zito any time you'd like." he smiled brightly when zito finally heaved himself up and began loudly meowing for attention again. "go ahead, he'll let you pick him up." the cat's tail perked straight, his fur bristling as he seemed to yowl in excitement. kion bit back a laugh as he shook his head with a small smile. it was probably the most active kion had seen the cat since noir, and soon after kenya, had died. "just find me, zito is normally not far behind. he likes to explore."

xxxkino didn't know what to say to the slytherin prefect. so, all that he did was nod in response to her. when the other two had parted, kino simply waved his hand in youngjae's direction before he returned his focus to freckles, who was now comfortable curled in the crook of his neck, breathing steadily. he inwardly cooed at the critter, lightly running his index finger over his back as he smiled softly. kino couldn't help it, the little creature was just so freaking cute that it was near impossible not to melt at the sight of it being curled up in such a position, comfortable with being on his shoulder. with a soft sigh, the male turned his head towards the window and leaned against it slightly, rolling his lips in to moisten them slightly. 'kind of wish i brought my chap stick,' he thought to himself, quickly sitting up when there was a soft thunk to his left.
xxxthe ferret squeaked as he stretched out on his shoulder, only to crawl his way onto his other shoulder and place himself there just as comfortably as he had been previously. kino watched the feline as she jumped onto the seat next to mika, and carefully lifted his hand up to his shoulder to gently stroke his ferret. after a moment of staring at the feline-- which seemed like a little longer than he had intended --his gaze soon lifted to alex as he asked to just stay there rather than fighting the feline. nodding his head, kino carefully picked freckles into his hand and rested him in his lap, gently stroking his head as he looked at the cat, "s-sure." he said softly, eyes moving towards the male that had entered and "accidentally" fell on mika's lap, smiling innocently before she had carefully, and playfully, shoved him off. kino waved at him slightly, and lifted the ferret up a little bit as he shifted and placed his feet flat on the seat, knees brought up to his chest.

xxxmika nodded her head just as the other two left, and turned towards her bag and pulled out her book-- flipping to the marked page. she was in the middle of reading the shining-- a book that she had read two times prior. she had actually read a majority of his books more than once, finding them interesting each and every time she read them, despite knowing just about everything that was happening in each chapter. she had read it a total of four times since she began attending hogwarts-- at home, of course --and could spit out a summary of each chapter without looking at the book. not that she ever really did, or needed to-- there just wasn't much of a point for it --but it wasn't something she was particularly ashamed of. she enjoyed reading, especially horror novels and things similar.
xxxas soon as someone crashed into the compartment, more than likely by accident, she looked at her feet, shifting them slightly so that he would be able to avoid causing any unintentional contact between them. but once her eyes landed on the small feline that was happily moving only slightly, she shook her head softly as she watched alexander rise to his feet. "you okay?" she asked, watching the cat leap up beside her before her eyes fell on the taller male once again. nodding her head in response to his question, she looked down at the cat once again and marked the page in her book and set it down beside her, holding her hand down towards the cat before gently stroking her head, only to get squished by yixing after having yelled "goooood morning, vietnam!", who gave a quick, insincere apology. she grunted softly, releasing a loud, "i will obliterate you, lei," and shoved the fourth year off of her and onto the seat across from her, rolling her eyes as she looked at the cat, head tilted to the side slightly.

xxxthe only reason that yixing had been left alone, was because ji-hoo thought it would be necessary to go to the bathroom to check his eyeliner, after getting flicked in the forehead. the compartment was empty aside from him, his bags, and the head boy's bags. he huffed out a sigh, clapping his hands together as he swung his legs back and forth, straightening his lips as he glanced around. this was boring. really boring. he puckered his lips and pushed out a breath, lips vibrating as he created horse-like noises, soon clicking his tongue on the roof of his mouth before standing up. where he was going? to bother mika, the only other person he actually knew aside from alexander. he hadn't seen alex, but he had seen mika-- as well as kino --but he didn't want to bother kino as much as he wanted to bother mika. and at this point, that was his goal.
xxxadjusting his robe as he walked out of the compartment-- kind of against ji-hoo's order, at that --to seek out the other hufflepuff. once he came upon the compartment they were in, he smiled at himself and nodded, "goooooood morning, vietnam!" he yelled as he entered, "tripping" over his feet and falling back onto mika's lap, and quickly muttered, "sorry," with little sincerity, only to get shoved off. he chuckled softly and turned around to sit down across from her, shaking his head as he gave her a wide smile. looking over at alexander, he lit u slightly, straightening his back as he waved before lifting his feet and propping them on mika's knees, huffing when she had shoved them off with an equally wide smile on her face. "how are you idiots, and my favorite person," he turned his head towards alex and winked, then turned and looked at kino and mika, "doing?"

xxxji-hoo had told yixing to stay in the stupid compartment. and what does he go and do? he runs off. releasing an irritated sigh, he looks at the tyto owl in the cage and furrowed his eyebrows. that little devil incarnation i swear to god, he thought to himself, closing the compartment door before walking off to search for the fourth year. turning his head slightly, ji-hoo offered lee-jae a nod of his head. he went to answer the male's question, but quickly shut his mouth when he continued to speak. nodding along to him as he spoke, ji-hoo scratched his head and released a slightly irritated huff, head dipped to the side as he folded his arms over his chest, "so... basically, your day so far has been nothing short of irritating?" he asked, arching an eyebrow at the slytherin.

A small smile lit up Alex's face as he saw Yixing. Now things would be a bit more comfortable. Alex sat down next to Kino, although he left quite a bit of space between them, just in case Kino was uncomfortable. "I'm alright. I went abroad over the summer, so that was nice. I'm kind of nervous for the O.W.L.s this year, though," Alex replied to Yixing, chuckling a bit when Mika pushed him away playfully.
"I think this year I might try to actually make some friends... Plus I think the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain might kill me if I don't 'communicate with the team members' or however it is he puts it. I just suck at being friendly," Alex joked. Kind of. It was true that he was bad at making friends. He didn't really have experience, and just wasn't extroverted. At all.
Alex pouted a bit as Amber leaned into Mika's touch, purring softly. How come Amber liked other people more than she liked him, the person who fed her and cared for her all the time?
