It was all over now, it seemed. The demon's gaze was completely averted from her and to someone else. Probably another crazy human. Seriously, what kind of paint was on her face? She saw it used on other humans before, but she couldn't find the name for it. She stopped fidgeting in impatience as the leader of thiOns miserable group of humans started to speak up. She scowled at him as he seemed to stand close to her in a bit of a tease. The bell suddenly rang throughout the building, indicating the end of "breakfast."
"Breakfast is over! Get your sorry hides outside. I'll give you further instruction once ya get out there."
Peridot yelped as the manager picked her up by the hair with ease, all the while she gnashed her teeth while reaching towards her paining head and pitifully complaining "Ow! Ow! Hair, hair, hair!" It seems this cruel human loved to pick on her above the rest. He plopped the tiny gem down on the rough concrete while awaiting the others to come outside. "Help me get the others out here, will ya?" he said calmly to the other officers.

On the outside, Rao was calm. But on the inside, she was fuming. Due to her powerful abilities and voice without her weapons, she was heavily handicapped. Her apparel was removed and replaced with these dusty grey prison clothes that confused her to no end. Why not ragged robes? Or at least something recognizable? Just like a dog with a muzzle, her mouth was slightly bound from opening fully to shout. She could not wait to get out of here. Admittedly, the advanced technology she saw everywhere was a little intimidating. But these people seemed no more vulnerable than the average person. She's seen much more horrific monsters than these goons around her. They were nothing compared to the sights she's seen in Apocrypha. She'd brake out of these and retrieve her stuff it it's the last thing she'll do.
Sitting down next to a plate of cheese and venison, she sighed subtly. Why would they set me down here with my mouth tied? But she couldn't even get to poke her food before she was told to go outside. Why would they set me here knowing breakfast would end in two seconds!?
