Shade saw Iyce returning with several sheep. Her eyes narrowed. "Iyce, I'd rather you not hunt from farmers. First of all, I'd actually consider that stealing, given it's the farmer's livestock and property. Also, I don't want to alert even more humans of our prescense. You never know; that man might have a large mouth when it comes to speaking of stories." Turning her attention to Rowki, she realized that Rowki liked her. A lot. Signaling for Rowki to stay there and wait, Shade said to Zoe, "I'll bring something back for you. Don't worry." Smiling warmly, Shade said goodbye to Zoe and took off with Rowki. "Personally, I like mountain goats."

Luka stopped at a distance, and looked down on the tribe she was part of. She noticed that Rowki was with Shade again. Of course Luka was happy for Shade (for she had found Rowki and looked happy with him,) but she felt a much deeper emotion: A feeling of pity for herself. You had to admit that Luka had many good aspects as well as being an over-average pretty dragoness, but she was still almost 300 years old and hadn't ever had a mate. She shook her head, disgusted with herself.

Iyce rolled his eyes, even though he knew full well Shade was his leader. "It's not stealing, for one, because these animals would be wild if man had not domesticated them. For another, winter is coming on, and my mate is pregnant, so I will feed her in any way I can. And for your third point, I can always kill that farmer if need be. Then we'd have the rest of his flock to eat, as well."

Rowki chuckled, "Mountain goat? You have good taste then." He murmured, starting to fly to where he knew there were a few herds of mountain goats. He spotted a herd and flew upwards, hiding in the clouds. Suddenly, without hesitation, he dived down, spinning like a tornado and grabbed a goat by it's back, snapping its neck. It was a cow. He turned, preparing to shoot down to grasp another.
