Rowki looked at Shade, smiling. "Hey, Shade." He chuckled, his deep green eyes amused and interested in the dark dragon. "How are you today?" He asked, his red-finned tail brushing across the soft earth. She was quite pretty, her dark colour and personality. Her clumsiness was something he really liked, it made her her. A deep rumble formed in his throat, not a growl but an amused purr.

Pandora glanced at the leader and smiled sheepishly before turning her white scarred eyes back to her work. She was gathering marigolds.

Pandora bunched the marigolds in a pile, binding them together with a small vine. She picked it up, looking for a few poppy flowers to get seeds so she could make one of her mashes. She hated the taste of poppy seeds, and used the marigolds to hide the taste so dragons would take them easier. Of course, some dragons didn't mind the taste, but as a healer she wanted to make sure they were being treated with little or no pain.

Shade replied, "I'm doing fine, Rowki." Grinning, she rose into the air, spreading her large, web-like wings. Her dark scales shimmered and she flicked her tail in farewell to her tribe.

Luka got up and looked at the dragons, first Rowki and then Shade, who was flying off. Then Luka laughed so hard she began to spit fire uncontrolably. When she finally got herself under control, she walked over to Rowki, because she had been in hearing distance of their conversation. "You like Shade," Luka said to Rowki, trying not to spew fire again, "and you were flirting with her!" Then, she became serious, and stared into his eyes. "You could make her happy." She whispered, turning. "She has been depressed ever since her mate died." With that, Luka flew off, trying to dodge an awkward moment.

Shade flew around, feeling rather peaceful after talking to Rowki. She really liked him, but only as a friend. He radiated happiness, and that made her feel better. Although still pained after the death of her mate, Ravenfire, Shade still knew that she would have to find another mate. Even though her leadership would be questioned if even more time went on and she didn't appoint a Lead Dragon to help her with her command, Shade would still wait for another soul mate, no matter what happened.

Rowki stared after her, confused... Dazed. She was right, at least the first part. And he hoped he could make her happy, though he was unsure. "Thank you." He mumbled, a statement more than the question that bounced in his head.
