Shade smiled reassuringly at Lakota, bringing her to the medicine den with her tail curled over Lakota's shoulder. "Pandora, Lakota had a hunting accident. She slammed into a tree, right, Lakota? And now her wing has been injured. She has trouble flying. That's about correct, right Lakota?"

Holly touched noses with Zoe, smiling at Zoe's eggs. "They're so pretty! I can't wait until I lay my own. I'm sure they'll grow up to be beautiful young dragons."

Pandora didn't take her eyes off of the herbs she was going through. "How long ago did it happen?" She asked. Even an hour's difference could change the herbs she gave the dragon.

"I'm not sure," Shade looked very worried. "Lakota, how long ago did it happen?"

Zoe smiled "thanks Holly" she said smiling an she nodded "i'm sure your's will be aswell" she said smiling blowing a smoke of hot air on the egss as she smiled.

Lakota hung her head in shame. "About a week ago," she murmered. She wondered if that meant it would be too late for Pandora to heal her wings. "They don't hurt anymore, they just make me fly clumsily!" she added hopefully, not sure if that made any difference.

Luka looked around. "Okay, now that you know I'm not dead, I'm leaving. Stuff to do, you know? I'll come back as soon as possible." She smiled at her herd, waved goodbye to Rowki then flew out of the valley. "Tell Shade I came by." Luka said, "and tell her I may bring back someone new!" With that, Luka flew away to where she had met Mantle, and decided it would be good to explain to him why she left, and even try to talk him into joining the herd.
When she was at the cave, Luka called out, "Mantle? It's me, Luka. Sorry about before." She went inside, then waited for a response.

Shade let out a snort, pawing the ground impatiently. She was ridiculously worried about Lakota, but she knew exactly what Luka was up to. She was a stalker, that's her job! A justified stalker that is a fantastic leader. xD Shade needed to know everything that went on inside her tribe.
