Holly sniffed, hearing the argument from inside her den. She was almost ready to lay her eggs. Personally, Holly agreed with Shade. No dragon had the right to talk to their leader like that! Besides, Shade did indeed lead a dawn patrol with other dragons, and they were the ones all sleeping. Shade was one of the hardest workers and she wa a great leader. Dislike of Rowki almost made her drown in hatred. She had never like Rowki. Way too many mood-swings if you ask her. Rowki was much too cruel as well, and it wasn't the first time Holly had seen Rowki snap like that. Rowki did have the time to eat, but always ended up going out and working time and time again. Not because Shade ordered him to, but because he wanted to show off and impress everyone. Huh, Shade was definitely right.

Lakota didn't have the nerve to say that if her wings were badly damaged then she would have to give up on her lifelong dream, to become a powerful warrior and defender of her herd. She looked sadly at Shade.

Shade felt sympathetic for the promising young dragon. "It's fine, you'll get through this. And I'll stand by you the whole way. Come on; let's go see Pandora. If the damage is permanant, you'll still always have a place in the tribe, no matter what Lakota!"

Zoe watched clearly taken back by What Rowki Had said to shade,' shade is a brilliant leader someone to look up to an she has done heaps for this tribe without her we all would be dead" she said her eyes narrowing the she shook it off an bowed "thank you for looking after my eggs Shade" she said smiling nodding her head in thanks.

Toxic looked up from his cave he heard yelling he shook his head confused he stood up an ambled out looking around "whats going on?" he asked looking around.

Lakota nodded her head and followed Shade. She didn't understand how Shade was always so kind to her, especially after losing her mate. It would have made anyone else angry and bitter, but Shade had pulled through and remained a fantastic leader despite this. She thought to herself that when she grew up she wanted to be more like Shade.
