"I wasn't gonna..." he muttered to himself. Heck, he had to agree with Kazumi, he didn't want Chuu on this mission either. All she was doing was aggrivating Kazumi, and upsetting Shuuka. If she kept on acting the way she was then the team would get split up- and they needed both Shuuka and Kazumi on this mission.
Shuuka's chancra spiked again as the paranoia set in deeper. It happened all the time, it wasn't her fault. She had something wrong with her head, causing her to often see things that weren't there. But yet, it all seemed real to her.
He often found himself feeling bad for her, especially since she was weak and unable to fight. but yet, shuuka could take care of herself. Kind of... No, who was he kidding? She couldn't.

Kenji chuckled slihglty, hearing him from the rock she was sitting on. Chuu was sitting on the ground, not having moved from that spot, her head in her hands. Of course no one cared for her, not at this moment, and they never will... She honestly didn't mean to be the way she was - she would be friends with these people if she knew... how...

And at that moment, the forest became eerily silent, the only noises being those of the rustling in the trees, and the wind blowing past quietly thought he darkened sky, the mood slightly visible through the gaps in the trees, shining down with its reflected glow, giving the grass a silver shine that was noticable only if one were to look for it. It was almost eeriee...
No wonder Shuuka had such paranoia about this place. It was ratgher intimidating, and Shuuka had a feeling that it was only gonna get worse as the mission went along... people were gonna get hurt. badly. And of course, Shuuka was expected to cause herself pain just to help others. Why should she be expected to do that? Of course, she'd do it anyways, but she hated when people just expected things of her. It was like she was just a puppet... It was rediculous and out of order, in her mind.
But nobody ever listened... not like she ever spoke of it anyways.

As the sun rose int he sky after the night, chasing away the darkness, Shuuka stirred. Ryu was awake already, though not moving or makign a sound.
Shuuka opened her eyes, noticign she hadn't moved much from the position she was in last night. She blinked once. twice. Three times to chase away her early morning dizzy vision as everything became clear. The forest wasn't nearly as scary in the light...
But yet Kazumi hadn't returned yet.

Jinou smiled at Shuuka when she woke up.
Chuu was still asleep - either that, or just thinking.

Shuuka shifted, sitting up straight as she fixed her hair which had become slightly messy during the night. She then looked to Jinou, and smiled faintly. It was impossible to tell if the smile wqs faked ot not, because it was oly faint. "Morning..." She muttered, glancing around with a sigh as she realised Kazumi had left last night. She always wandered off on missions like this. But Shuuka knew she'd return, she'd have to.

Chuu got up, and very slowly, started walking to Shuuka. "I.. am... very... sorry... if I have hurt you... in any way."

Shuuka frowned, everting her gaze. "...It's fine I guess..." She muttered with a sigh. She was still sour about the whole situation, but she couldn't really help it.

[sheep.]

Chuu shook her head slightly. "It isn't. You probably saved my life..." She turned her head, as if looking somewhere else will remove the memory. She fell to her knees and stared at the ground. "I'll do anything to get you to forgive me... and Kazumi, also..."

"You'll do anything, then?" She mused, raising an eyebrow. "Then do yourself a favour and accept the fact that it's int he past, and I don't really care about that anymore." She shrugged.
"Speaking of Kazumi, shouldn't she be back by now...? What the hell is she doing niw...?" Ryu frowned with a sigh. Shuuka looked to him, and shrugged.

Chuu looked up and smiled... warmly, friendly even. She stood up and went back over to where she had been sitting before.
