Emmet smiled, but said nothing. He closed his eyes, the sirens wailing in his ears. The pain in his neck was washing over him in waves and it was excruciating, but he tried to keep it masked. His eyes were squeezed shut in an effort not to cry out in pain.

She answered it silently. "Hello?" She whispered. Her eyes widened and she sighed. "I'll be meeting you there.." She whispered and hung up, staring out the window.
