Emmet wandered into the gym and spotted Allie. Of course, there was another kid near her tapping on a textbook. He sighed and sat quite a ways away from her. He still thought that she was mad at him and he rested his chin in the palm of his hand.

Allie glanced over once more, hearing the beat. She smiled and tapped her foot silently, watching him carefully. Laughing lightly, she stared, seeming to be in a trance by the pens. Allie didn't notice when Emmet entered.

Sean finished with his slightly ADD habit and put his pens away, looking to the girl as he did so. She seemed inordinately facinated with his pen-tapping, as far the the boy could tell. Slipping his textbook back into the shoulder bag as well, Sean managed a shy, feeble smile, and sat up straight. "U-Uhm...h-hi..." He said, stumbling over his words. He wasn't really good at talking to people - especially girls - and he looked down, laughing nervously at himself.

Emmet looked at Allie and saw her smile. He didn't know why, but it made his blood boil. His teeth clenched together tightly and his fist clenched and unclenched rapidly. He brushed some of his hair out of his eyes and he stared at the floor, trying to calm down.
