Auberil eyed the two standing in front of her, her gaze travelling quickly between both of their faces as she continued to try and process the situation. She watched as the other man began to stir, noting his wary expression as he remained quiet. The two speaking to her were at least being reasonable, and that's more than she could say for some of the trigger-happy idiots she's met in the past. Auberil glanced between the three of them one more time before relenting, lowering her blasters with a sigh. "N'eparavu takisit…" She muttered, before remembering that these strangers probably didn't speak Mando'a. "Sorry." She translated, her eyes falling on the books the two men had pulled out of their chests. In her rush to find her blasters and holocom, she didn't look for anything different from what she already saw.

She set her guns down on the bed, and crouched down to go through her own chest again. She pulled her armor out first, laying the top and bottom piece out beside each other on the bed. She followed by dragging out her boots, belt, and gauntlets, starting to feel peeved when the book was still no where in sight. It was only when she took her helmet out that she found it. Laying the head piece beside her with a clank, she leaned back on her heels and began flipping through this so-called 'Survival Guide'. "Well, this is rich. I don't guess anyone knows what we're supposed to do now?"

ar'girra sparr |

the emperor's wrath | cabin 10 | rei, alm

The last thing Ar'girra remembered was being on the frontlines of battle, tearing down the defenses of a Republic fort as a one-woman army. Then, she was a terrifying sight to behold. She was a bastion of darkness, the kind of crippling shadow that leaves scars over one's mind, if anything was left at all. With a lightsaber the color of fire and eyes that reflected its glow with every stroke, Ar'girra could strike fear into the hearts of stalwart veterans. And she was, until the explosion. Either one of her men had gotten reckless or the enemy had grown desperate, but either way the operation was cut short when the walls of the fortress began to cave in, and flames ignited all around her. Using the Force, Ar'girra was able to keep most of the explosion's damage at bay. However, it didn't save her from being thrown backwards into a crumbling wall. She remembered throwing her hands up in defense, and then nothing.

Ar'girra woke up with a start, her muscles tense and ready for a fight should she need to. Her surroundings were completely unfamiliar. If the Republic had captured her, they did a poor job of selecting a cell. She wondered if this was a makeshift Imperial medbay, but the unsanitary look and lack of medical staff proved otherwise. Ar'girra didn't seem injured, in any case, which was shocking given what she had just been through. The Zabrak stood up, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on... something. A girl, she could tell that much, a young one. She couldn't tell her species, only that she'd never seen anything like her. The girl was poking at a human male who didn't seem to be much older than her, continuing to look for something she had lost.

Having seen enough, Ar'girra reached for the lightsaber at her hip--which was not there. Spinning around, Ar'girra was just now noticing that her armor had also been removed. She saw the chest at the foot of the bed, and forced it open with a single clench of her fist. Her tension eased a little when she saw the saber and her armor inside, but now she wanted answers. She called the lightsaber into her open hand and activated it, the fire-like blade extending with a hiss. It hummed lowly as she pointed it at the strange girl, potential energy ready to strike. "You! Who are you? What is this place?"

Poe Dameron | 32 | Human | Healthy | Tag; Lucio, Logan, Ahsoka
Padawan? This situation was just giving Poe a headache; he barely remembered what a Padawan was, and only knew because Leia passed on any knowledge she contained to him. They were learning to be Jedi, right? This only raised more questions in Poe’s mind, eyebrows raised at the girl who introduced herself as Ahsoka.

He had gotten better with it after seeing friends and family freak out; Finn was one of them. Having to calm people down was something Poe was used to by now, so when Logan began to freak out, Poe turned towards him with a raised eyebrow. He read his name as Logan, noted in his mind. He cleared his throat before speaking, taking slow steps towards Logan; like he was about to tame a wild animal. His voice was calm as he spoke, soft and nurturing. "Whoa, hey! Deep breaths, buddy. You’re okay. We don’t know what’s happening either." He moved his hands to motion to himself, a small smile being offered to Logan. "I’m Poe Dameron, see? Poe. I fight for people like you, people that are scared and unsure of what’s happening. We’ll figure it out and get out of here, alright? So unless you’re with the First Order, we won’t have any problems. Let’s just sit down and talk about it, alright?"

      Rhys | 27 | Human | Healthy | Tag; Songbird, Webber, Matilda, Zer0
"Uh, wh, what?" Rhys looked up, seeing the spider coming towards him. His eyes widened and he scrambled away, before realizing that they were friendly. For some reason, he allowed himself to relax when the spider spoke. Everyone here seemed to be friendly, even though they were all abominations of some sort. Rhys furrowed his eyebrows for seconds, before saying, "Yeah... yeah. Alright. Thank you, Webber." A hint of hesitation was only shown before he said the spider-boys name, pausing for a few seconds before saying the name with certainty. For some reason, Webber reminded him of Gortys. His robot friend was close to him – they had been through a lot together, and they helped him in ways he couldn’t even imagine. He wanted to protect Webber.

    Weird.

"Well, I suppose we’ll... Uhhh... Oh." For a second, Rhys thought he was going insane. He could swear he just heard Zer0’s voice requesting help... but that couldn’t be, right? Zer0, here? Where Rhys is? He nearly scoffed – the dude was too cool to get stuck in these scenarios. He walked towards the chest at the foot of the bed — okay, crawled. He opened it carefully and reached into it, finding an ECHO communicator. It seemed to be in perfect condition, and Zer0’s voice had undoubtedly come out of it. Figuring out how to reply, he spoke into the device with little confidence. "Zer0? That you, buddy? I... uh... I’m in a jungle thing. You here too? Or am I... am I just going insane?"

Male/Male; 16/16; Human/Dragon; Tags; McCree, Agnostos, Hotei

The boy next to the dragon had finally started to stir, a quiet yawn coming from him as he shifted a bit. He reached up to rub his eyes a bit, opening one for a second, only partially awake however. Contrary to the others, he didn't spring right up when he saw his surroundings, believing to be his hut as he hadn't noticed the other three, and Toothless was next to him. Though, when he heard voices that didn't sound familiar, that was when he woke up fully. The teen sprung up, accidentally falling off the bed he was sleeping on, causing the dragon to wake up. The boy quickly got up, noticing the other three, staying quiet, rubbing the back of his head. This certainly isn't Berk....Did I get captured again? He shook his head for a second.
Hiccup then turned towards the door, and noticed what looked like...He wasn't quite sure, and it looked like there were lots of vines, plants, and trees. He had never been anywhere similar to this. It didn't help that everything looked huge outside, especially considering how small the boy was. He turned back, noticing a chest with his name on it, approaching it. The teen opened the chest to find his shield and a book named 'Survival Guide', which wasn't very comforting. He grabbed his shield, and the book.

A growl came from the Night Fury as the sound of Hiccup falling had caused him to bolt awake. The dragon watched as his rider went over to a chest to grab a shield and book. He approached him, and nudged Hiccup who smiled at him. He then looked up to see three people that he certainly didn't recognize. There was another growl, this time more hostile than before, as he jumped in-front of Hiccup, baring his teeth at the strangers. One of them had an object the dragon didn't recognize, but assumed it was a weapon by the way they were holding it. Toothless's wings were no longer folded up, now outstretched to give off a menacing appearance.
Hiccup jumped back a bit as Toothless pounced in-front of him, surprised by the sudden hostility of the Night Fury. That, of course, was when the boy noticed a weapon? object? being held by one of the three, as he quickly put the book in the pouch connected to Toothless's saddle. He then held up his shield in a defensive position, quite anxious of the three, and nervous of being attacked. He had Toothless to help if they did, but nonetheless the only thing he did have was his shield. It was quite helpful when dealing with wild dragons and the like, but he didn't know what these three could have. The boy continued to stay quiet, only watching them.

Memories drifted in her head, happy and dark ones. Though, certain ones wouldn't disappear, swooshing in her mind like waves, drifting like the ocean. Ocean..She hated the ocean after what happened with Jasper. The torture she put herself through, and Jasper. But, there was also her friends.. And happiness. She wanted to wake up however from this nightmare but dream state.
Lapis was used to waking up in a barn, used to the sound of Peridot's voice calling for her to wake up in the mornings. This time however, she didn't hear Peridot's voice, instead hearing other voices, unfamiliar. This woke up the gem quite quickly, as her eyes opened fast. The girl sat up, looking around. She noticed what appeared to be two humans perhaps, as she stood up. Lapis examined the room, noticing a chest with her name on it. She didn't say a word to the others as she opened the chest to reveal a book with 'Survival Guide' written on it. Lapis picked up the book and placed it inside her gem. She would read it later, and now try and figure out where she was, and who these people were.

The spiky haired boy finally stirred. Sora was known to be a bit of a heavy sleeper, having to be waken up at times. He was used to sleeping on his bed at home, but now it appeared to feel different than his bed. He started to realize it wasn't as comfortable. He had also accidentally fallen asleep without his blanket on him, so that was odd, unless someone put it on him. The one thing that really woke the boy up was the cheerful voice of a girl, and another boy. He would have gone back to sleep if it was Kairi and Riku perhaps, but these weren't familiar voices. The boy yawned, opening his eyes, and sitting up in the bed. He rubbed his eyes a bit, as he looked around him. This DEFINITELY wasn't his bedroom, and it freaked the teen out a bit. He jumped up, accidentally bumping into a chest that had his name on it. He looked over at what he bumped, noticing the chest. Quickly, the boy opened it to find a book and his keyblade. The first thing he grabbed was his Keyblade, although it was odd that it was there without him summoning it. Anyways, he dismissed the keyblade, and grabbed the book. It read 'Survival Guide' on the front, and Sora put it away for now. (Let's say he has pockets, because who can explain all the potions he has among other objects?)
The boy looked up at the other two with an awkward smile, rubbing the back of his head, messing up his hair a little. Who were these people? It at least calmed him a bit that two of them appeared friendly, and rather calm in this situation. That was when Sora finally realized that he wasn't at home, he wasn't with Kairi or Rikuo, nor was he with Donald and Goofy, and he was in a place he didn't know. Did he get thrown into another dimension? Swallowed by darkness? What HAPPENED?
The boy clearly began to panic a bit, a little scared. He didn't know what to say or do, he just wanted to find his friends even more now, and go home. He, at this moment, didn't even seem to acknowledge that he was also fighting the heartless with those friends, but perhaps it was all of the stuff that happened to Sora. He finally made a little noise. "U-uh....what...where? Why? What's going on?!"

The girl groaned as voices barely slipped into her mind as she slept. That certainly wasn't any of the paladins..All she could remember at first was a fight, and the castle of lions, and fuzzy memories. Besides that she tried to force herself awake. It didn't always work, but it sort of did now. Her eyes opened a little, as she took in the sight of what appeared to be a worn down cabin in a...jungle? This reminded her of the planet she found the green lion on. She forced herself to wake up more, getting up from the bed. She looked around, noticing two others, but she didn't say anything yet. Katie, or Pidge, had noticed a chest with her name on it, going over and opening it. The first things she grabbed were her Bayard and her suit. These would definitely be useful later. The last thing was a book, something Pidge decided to store for later to read. Finally deciding it was time to find out what was going on, she put her suit down, and held up her bayard towards the two. "Who are you, where are we, and what's going on here?!"

Raine Sakura // 14 // Female // Winged Human // Location: Cabin 3 // Tagged: Zoi, Katie

Raine turned, seeing that the last of their companions was finally awake. She was a bit startled by the weapon pointed in her face, but she said quickly, "I really don't know where we are, I think it's like a large forest. Zoi might know something..." She gestured to the Life God.

"I'm Raine Sakura. Nice to meet you, Katie. Or Pidge?" she asked politely. Whatever situation they were in, it seemed quite unusual, and Raine was not going to take any risks and make enemies this early on when they did not know a single thing about the cabin and the place outside.

      Agnostos - He/him - cabin 1 - tagged: Hotei, Hiccup, Toothless, McCree
Agnostos looked at Hotei, as he took a deep breath. "I'm really not. I should be able to control time far easier than this!" he raised his voice, looking extremely angry and disappointed. "I'm a god. This shouldn't be happening to me" he said to himself, still glaring at the man holding the gun. Though a very startling growl brought him back from his thoughts, he whipped around and in response to the dragons outstretched wings, he stretched his as well. Sure, Agnostos' wings weren't as large as the dragons but compared to his small frame they were huge. He held his gaze with the dragon's, not showing the fear that was screaming at him to attack, even the clock pendant was screaming at him to attack, Chronos was screaming at him to do anything but try and size this thing up. Every sensible part of the god was willing him to grab some sort of weapon and attack, though, another part of himself told him to hold his ground and maybe, he could win.

      Zoi - He/him - cabin 5 - tagged: Katie, Raine
Zoi nodded as archangels were mentioned, taking a moment to choose his words. "My realm doesn't have archangels, just... angels. Do archangels work like gods? ruling over the realm and the mortal world beneath you?" he asked, out of genuine curiosity, he might as well take this opportunity to learn more about other realms and worlds, maybe once he got back to his own world he could report this all to Katharos. Well, if he even got back.
As the other person in the room finally stirred Zoi spoke, sarcasm dripping from his voice. "That apparently" he looked down at her, watching the person as she moved. When she finally looked at the two of them and pointed a weapon at them both he scowled, dropping his just and kind persona in favor of his actual mannerisms. "How dare you point a weapon at us and then demand our names" he hissed, glaring at her as his eyes narrowed. "I'll have you know, I am Zoi the God of Life and frankly, I have no idea where we are and what is happening." he paused to stretch his wings, attempting to establish authority over the small group and when Raine spoke saying that maybe he knew something, he quickly glared at her since it was painfully clear, to himself anyways, that he showed no signs of knowing what in he name of all things holy was going on here.

Zer0 || The Assassin || Eridian || Deception - Inactive|| Health 100% || Moolytar, Obi-Wan, Rhys (Echo)

A response on the ECHO stops zer0's approach on the other two, taking their hand off the blade hilt and moving back a few steps to look at the ECHO. Was that Rhys? Well, at least there was one teammate somewhere nearby. At least within range of the ECHO. "Yes it is me Rhys / Your resident assassin / At least you are alive" He responded as he looked around, looking towards what one might consider a window.

"My locale is alike / Perhaps we're not far apart / So we're still on Pandora?" He informed, a ? forming on the front of his helmet before it flickered away as he stepped away from the window while a hand briefly went back to adjust Trespasser. "Are you alone rhys? / Do you know about the rest? / The others must be her" He spoke into the Echo once more as he looked around once more, being sure to stay aware of the other two within the room so not to get surprised by them.

Songbird || Bio-mechanical aviator || Health 100% || unknown || Eyes: Orange-Green || Rhys, matilda, Webber

Songbird made an indignified noise at being called 'birdy' green eyes flickering to orange and rapping their knuckles/claws against the wooden chest in an irritated fashion. The human could have their freak out, songbird didn't care. Thus they turned towards webber and matilda. Webber seems like a shy, meek little child/creature. It reminds them of Elizabeth when she was much younger.

This caused the lenses to go green again as they lifted a hand and gently smoothed it over the creatures furry head in a way to calm them and show them that songbird was not going to hurt them. They then look at matilda as she said their name, a curious, flitter of a noise, like someone tooting a flute and tilted their head a bit. They listened to the girl babble a bit about having a friend that would be impressed by them? Columbia was all about technology, seeing as it was a floating city in the sky. They gave a slight shrug at the mention of a voice box. They use to have one, use to be human after all until the doctor.

Thought webber seemed to remind them of the book, thus they opened the flap in their suit so to pull out the book, then close the flap and show it to them, tapping the cover that read 'Survival Guide'. Thought they did look at Rhys when he crawled out of hiding and pulled some device from the chest and started talking to someone else. Was that haiku?

Penryn was faintly surprised when the woman calmed down and looked at the others in the room, her gaze flicked from one to the other as she tried to keep her pounding heart at bay. That could've gone wrong.
'but it didn't.' her thoughts snapped back. Shaking her head to clear the thought she raised her free hand to her forehead, brushing a few stands of hair out of her eyes.
A gentle, but cold, breeze ran over her neck, causing her to shiver and look around. Just above her bed was a window, the glass was cracked and dirty, a small green spider had made its web in one of the gaps and sat quite happily in the centre of it.
Outside was, what seemed to be, an open area. A small clearing, dappled in gentle golden beams of sunshine. Even here the silence that came from outside was eerie, as a matter of fact, this entire situation was eerie.
From the situation, the cabin, the people. Something was off. She was about to voice the silence outside when someone else spoke, causing her to jump and look around at the woman who had almost shot them earlier.
"Um - well.." She trailed off, frowning in thought for a moment. She suddenly paled and her eyes went glassy, then her vision faded into nothingness for a few heartbeats.
The world filled with colours again and instead of the people she saw Raffe, he tossed something at someone else and it took Penryn a moment to notice it was her. The other Penryn caught whatever Raffe had tossed and that's when she knew what was happening. "Eat, we'll be tra-" the scene cut off and faded into black again before it was replaced with the cabin and the people.
Penryn didn't know when she had used the bed to steady her, but she had. The sword was clenched in her hand still. 'Dammit, Sword - Don't do that.' She mentally snapped, glaring at the sheets for a few moments. Taking a deep breath, she regained herself and stood straight again. Placing the sword back in the chest and wiping her hand on her shirt as if it'd get rid of the memory. Clearing her throat she spoke again, keeping her voice even. "We should probably look around the cabin - make sure it's safe.." She looked at the smashed window, "Or as safe as it's gonna get at least... Especially if we have to stay here."

Running away from danger had been easy, hiding from it... Not so much. Moolykar clenched her gun in her hand, tension making the air thick enough to cut. The creature slowly slipped through the shadows, making its way towards her quickly and quietly. Mooly took her aim, shot once, lost her footing and was sent plunging into the depths of icy water.
The reaction was instant, she couldn't cry out, her body stiffened and she could see her hair melting into the darkness of the water surrounding her and then nothing.
When she awoke she could hear a voice, no. Voices- maybe. Swallowing down a whine she shifted and slowly opened her eyes. Grumbling under her breath she sat up slowly and looked around.
Okay- first of all- what? Being a prisoner, or presuming to be one at least, didn't exactly come with a comfy bed. Second of all 'cell' mates weren't exactly what she had expected either. She looked at a bed on the left side of the room where a man was still sleeping before slowly turning her head towards the other.
She moved, crouching on the bed almost like a cat ready to pounce and growled, low and quiet. Her hand brushed something cold and hard when she moved again and noticed her gun. Safety off. It made the situation a little less tense for her and scowled at the figure. Her hand slowly closed around the gun. Of course it was with her, she had 'died' with it. It would return with her. fun.
She made no move to attack, other than her position and didn't exactly want to be the first to speak so she remained quiet, waiting for the other to make the first move.

connor | android | male | gay | location; cabin four | tags; peter, genji, clementine

Of all the things Connor predicted happening, this wasn't one of them. He managed to see the attacked coming a split second before the girl's feet struck him. The synthetic muscles in his legs braced, and though he swayed back and almost fell, he stayed upright. He blinked and found a gun pointed at his face. For a moment, he was stuck between processors full of fear—afraid of death as he stared down the barrel of a gun once more—and the immediate need to activate his negotiator programming. His LED, which had been a pleasant blue, shifted to an ugly red. The android finally quelled the hammering of his thirium pump, but the girl's attention had shifted from him to the boy that had awoken behind them.

Connor straightened in a fluid motion, eyes sliding to the girl in case she startled and put the muzzle of the gun on him again. Once he saw he was no longer in danger of being shot, he turned his attention to their new companion. He looked young, only slightly older than the girl. Falling back on an old habit, Connor blinked and rigged up a facial recognition scan. A few seconds passed before the results came back with a glaring 'no connection'. A frown settled on his face, and he reached out with a mental search. Though a few odd bits of technology pinged back to him, there was an unsettling lack of anything. The most conclusive result he could come up with was that he was no longer in Detroit—though the rustic cabin was a pretty good indicator of that already.

He came back to the present when the girl started talking again. He furrowed a brow at her words. "The apocalypse?" He said softly, tilting his head at the girl. Sure, the events that had gone down in Detroit were bad—especially in the eyes of humans—but they were hardly cataclysmic. He kept silent as the girl continued on, her words violent for a human of her age. Possible past emotional trauma? Connor jerked his head slightly, banishing the sudden analysis that floated into his line of vision. There were times his programming was helpful; this was not one of those times.

Walkers? The android turned the phrase over in his head. She had said bitten by them, so it was highly unlikely they were a reference to humans. He ran a quick search through his internal memory, but the results came up mundane and inconclusive. Nothing. He swallowed—a completely unnecessary motion for an android—and addressed the girl. "Might I at least know your name?" As he spoke, he drifted his gaze over to the boy, silently asking the same question. On his temple, his LED blinked a solid yellow.

loki | jotun | genderfluid (male presenting) | pansexual | location; cabin six | tags; sora, sonia, right

Too late; he had been spotted. Loki banished the knife with a wave of his hand and smoothed out his leather tunic. No threats—at least not at the moment. He dipped his head to the girl who waved at him, clearing his throat quietly. He eyed the pair, and refrained from saying anything yet.

By the time their third and final companion had awoken, Loki had gathered his wits and felt confident—at least slightly so—about the situation. He pulled a cheshire grin onto his face and addressed the spiky-haired boy. "Well, I believe that's the question we're all wondering. How nice of you to finally join the land of the living, by the way. I wasn't sure if you were dead or just asleep." Of course, the trickster had known full well the boy had been sleeping; the rising and falling of his chest was evidence enough. The need to tease was irrepressible, however.

Folding his hands behind his back, he turned to Sonia and Right. "Now, are you two miscreants finished, or are you going to keep jabbering like blackbirds until you rot?"

Nodding as he listened, Right hardly seemed concerned about neither of them knowing what was happening. At all. When she suggested that they introduce themselves, the thought hadn't even crossed him at all. Ever since he boarded the line, he just kind of knew who everyone was. Of course, that's what most people would do, right? He mostly just hope that they'd get along well. When Sonia introduced herself, he nodded. "It's nice to meet you, Sonia! I'm Right! I also hope that we can work as friends!" He spoke with a cheerful smile.
His new companion reminded him a bit of a member of the Darkline but she seemed different from them. At the sound of a new voice, he glanced up. Now it seemed that all four of them were awake. Great! That meant they could get out of the cabin and look around. The one who had yet to speak seemed to not appreciate any sort of idle chitchat from anyones' end. He sure hoped that wouldn't cause any big sort of drag between them, even though they were all little more than strangers."Miscreant? I've been called a lot of things but that sure isn't one of them," Right laughed. "If we were so like blackbirds we could probably just go outside and fly home! Too bad it seems we're grounded." Absentmindedly, he had pulled the train from his pocket and fiddled with it, though it probably didn't look like anything more than a toy to the others.

Clementine • 14 • Female • Human • Annoyed/Frightened
Tags: Connor, Genji, Peter

Given the expression the fear when faced with a gun and his apparent confusion when she mentioned the apocalypse, Clementine assumed that these two had been sheltered for a while. Neither of them looked to be carrying any sort of weapon and honestly, they both looked too clean.
It wasn't necessarily a bad thing to be clean, but out here, there were no showers and no way to effectively wash your clothes. Clem herself was splattered in mud and blood that stained her clothes. Let's also not mention a couple of gashes along her cheek and hands. Without a doubt, these two guys hadn't been out much. Maybe they had been holed up here the entire time...
After a tense moment, she forced out a somewhat strained chuckle and lowered her gun. These two weren't much of a threat. If anything, they looked like innocent children compared to everyone else. And most everyone else looked terrible. Clem, being the ripe age of eight when this all started, lost her childlike innocence a long time ago. The adults said things she needed to understand. And it's a good thing she understood too. Even the smart, strong ones couldn't always survive. You needed to know how to deal with the dead and the living because, In the end, everyone you cared for would be dead if you couldn't kill. It just goes to show because no one from back then made it, they couldn't kill when it was necessary...her parents, Omid, Luke, Kenny...Lee.
The mere thought of Lee made Clementine's eyes water for a moment before she pushed the tears away. This wasn't the time. Everyone died, if they didn't they would soon. She'd come to accept that soon, she'd probably die in a few years...month even. With a sigh, Clem smiled at the two despite her rather desolate mood. "I'd ask why I should tell you, but it hardly matters anymore. The name's Clementine." The teen hardly even waited for a second before getting straight to business. There was no point in making friends since she wouldn't be staying long anyhow. Not with A.J. still out there.
Still acting rather cold toward the new guys, the smiled faded and she crossed her arms over her chest. "How long have you guys been hiding out? You should know by now that a lot of people aren't very nice, it's better to be more wary of new people." Not even caring that she had pretty much said that they shouldn't be so friendly toward her, she glanced at the younger male and tilted her head. "Not just that but most kids my age died a long time ago. How did you survive?" She asked with her eyes fixed on the other teen. Not to be rude or anything, but this guy looked like a nice kid. Not walker killing material if you asked her.
She wasn't trying to come off as though she was disappointed he was alive, but it was a fact. She'd been eight when the dead came back to walk around. This kid behind the guy she'd aimed her gun at looked no more than one or two years older than she was. He'd have been about nine or ten. That would be useful. A small group that could take care of themselves. Maybe they could point her in the right direction out of here.
