1x1 Between ~Lotus~ and Mayia Hikamaru

[Mayiamaru]

Mayia just looked at Alice innocently. "Skye always felt other people's pain, but it is a little weird how he can tell Lotus appart from other humans... It's..." Mayia froze up a little. She couldn't think of anything. Then she sighed, putting her hand to her mouth and thinking. "Well... I don't think I could go... If anyone gets hurt I have to be there for them, and I can't heal Skye ot Knight if either of them get hurt. Those kinds of powers don't work on them..." She thought about it. "But it is the quarter moon... Skye is at his weekest during this phase of the moon. The backwards cresent is Knight's mark. Knight has more power than usual." She said her thoughts aloud, then hid her face in her hands. "I don't know..."

[~Lotus~]

Alice jumped up. "Then I'll go, it is my job anyways, if one of them dies, there will be a soul in need of collecting. I will do my best to make sure it isn't Skye's, but you know that the most I can do, is slightly more than nothing at all." She said flying out. She flew over to the dome, and sure enough, Skye and Knight were at it.

[Mayiamaru]

Mayia looked at Alice as she went and lowered her head, mumbling softly. "But... Skye doesn't have one...." She said, unable to keep it in as a thought.

Most of the windows were broken. Glass scattered around the room and at the base of the building. There were those demonic things at the base of the building, still like stone. Knight was still swinging and throing in combonations of arrows, and only a few were able to his Skye. Skye just wouldn't attack, but he was tiring. He knew that if he could keep it up till sunrise, he would be able to defeat Knight and end this for another day. Unfortunately, Knight was able to force Skye back, sending him out one of the windows and handing on the ledge a good four meters were from the floor of the dome and forty seven feet to the concrete. Skye hung there by his right hand, his blade in his left.

[~Lotus~]

Lotus woke up when Alice left. "I think she knows that, she just wants to help without looking to soft." Lotus said, not even trying to get up. I hope Alice is alright. Lotus thought, and went back to sleep.

Alice came and saw Skye, she brought him back to the roof, so we wouldn't fall. "So, you really do hate that girl, and me, and Skye. You wanted to see us burn to death, what a NICE thought." She said, getting out of the way. She knew even is she wanted to help, Skye wouldn't let her fight. She would just be there, to catch him if he was being thrown or falling off the roof. She could be somewhat of a medical aid, but not much.

[Mayiamaru]

Knight narrowed his eyes. "I'll win no matter the cost. If Skye has no promises to keep, he won't have a reason for being here." He hissed, charging forward wit his bladed bow.
Skye had to keep his eyes open. In this phase of the moon, most of his powers were disabled. He couldn't feel movement as well as he would any other day. This was usually the day he took to rest. "Brother. You are not able to win any longer." Skye repeated, dodging to get behind Knight, finally able to strike Knight to the floor with a jab from the pommel of his sword. "You have never listened to reason..." He said, stepping back and just watching, his emotionless expression remaining.

[~Lotus~]

Alice just sat and watched. Then she realized, that what Knight said was true, she needed to have Skye make another promise, but she didn't promise things. She then left, she needed Lotus. She thought if Lotus made a promise to Skye, that was really sad, or something like it, he would have more motivation to fight. She reached the school, and took Lotus in her arms. "Mayia, what does Skye care about the most, not keeping promises, or protecting those who he loves, those two things are out, like I mean what would be a good promise to ask from him?" She asked, hoping her plan would work.

[Mayiamaru]

Mayia blunk then shrugged. "He's been keeping a lot of promises. He promised not to just leave me, and he hasn't. Skye also promised himself not to hurt anyone." She said lightly, thinking a bit. "He has a lot of self vows. I don't know them all." She sighed, then thought a bit harder. "Oh! Skye also made a promimse to visit the orphanage children at least five times a week. I'm not sure if... they are still alive though..." She said sadly.

Knight had sprung to his feet and jumped at Skye, pinning his down by his shoulders with his bow in his mouth. "I never had to!!" He yelled, muffled by the bow in his mouth. "You killed them! Thish ish more than a competition!" He hissed. The bow was a draw back for Knight though. He couldn't move his head.

Skye didn't move, nor did he look Knight in the eye. Skye's hat had fallen from his head when he was pinned and it was just about two feet away from Skye. He was just silent, listening to Knight remind him of how impure and evil he really was.

[~Lotus~]

Alice looked at her, and took off. "Now Lotus think of a good promise, Skye can't love or hate, and he has skin so cold it can kill you, and he can't smile, so those things are out of the question." She said to Lotus as they were half way to the building.

Lotus looked at Alice. "You really don't know do you. When you become someone's friend there are unspoken rules, like you will be there to help someone. You just realize, that you need to do whatever you can to help that person. I know, and you know to, that if you hurt someone now, you must only do it because it helps them in the long run. Now, I know that to promise." She said. And they were there.

[Mayiamaru]

Knight was still wretching. He was yelling and his bow wasn't in his mouth anymore. It was just gone. "You are a failure to us!! You destroyed so many dies because of him and you don't go against him?! Why?" Knight raged, his knee on Skye's gut on pushing on Skye's shoulders. "You murdered the only people I cared about! You destroyed my home time and time again!" He spat. Knight was ready to beat Skye's head off, but he just kept yelling.
Skye looked truly remorsful. His eyes were hidden in his white hair, but there were tears. Skye's teeth were clench the way one would when they were angry, but that wasn't the case at all. Skye just didn't fight back while Knight kept pressing on.

[~Lotus~]

Lotus heard all the yelling. She always thought Skye was a good person. Maybe, Knight wasn't bad, maybe he was just suffering so much. She got up, and told Alice to stay put. "Um.. Hello there, both of you." She didn't know what to do. Oh just watch as I get shot with something, or sliced in half. She thought, and then continued getting closer. She was nervous, she was shaking, she had never had to do something like this before, but the monsters were gone, and the kids at school were safe for now.
