I growled and now this was personal. Focusing all the negative energy i had on the robbers i made them double over from nausea and the pressure that must have been in their heads from the energy. I took that chance to take the weakest of them and used this energy to drive them back towards the broken window and they fell a good ten feet down to the earth outside. Though the one still holding Kite didnt let go. So with that I took him by the shirt, this sudden and invisible grasp made him let go and i took that chance to pin him up against the wall, the energy rising from his fear made it possible for me to become visible again and i stared at him right in the face. "You're messin with the wrong house buddy" I growled in his face and threw him at the window. After a moment they all took off leaving their bags behind with all my valuables in them in the house.

Kite’s amber eyes travelled to Jake’s angered face. He seemed fierce…fear invoking and Kite could sense strong negative energy pulsing from him. The next few moments everything seemed to happened too fast. The robbers that had once been inside the two storey house, now fled brokenly towards there van in the street. The man who had held Kite’s arm tightly in his grip quivered fearfully as Jake’s phantom appearance flickered dangerous before him. He released Kite instantly, and in that fraction of moment Jake had him by the shirt. Kite watched, her eyes wide in fear as the man was send in the same direction as the others. She heard a sickening thud follow, yet she dared not near the window. Kite turned to Jake, who’s flickering appearance still held it’s spine chilling aura. She approached him, her amber eyes watering slightly as she wrapped her dainty little arms around his air-like form. She spoke her usual bright perky voice gone, “That…that a terrible experience, I don’t think I’ve been that scared before in my whole life…..Thank you for saving me Jake…..I..I’m sorry about your stuff” she stared up at him. The flesh of her left arm throbbed slightly as the area where the man’s hand had gripped her slowly began to for a bruise.

I gently ran my cool hand over her arm to help cool the injury a bit. "You're welcome, im sorry that they got to you before i did" I said in my echoing voice, that was both soft and gentle. A 180 turn around from just a few moments ago, I looked her over and she was terrified, i could see it in her eyes. "The stuff is just stuff, come on lets get you out of this room, not the safest place for you to be right now" I said and motioned for her to follow.
Upon leading her into another room i saw the darkened fireplace. "If you want you can light a fire, Chimney's clean, there is some wood right out that door there" I offered. "That is if you wanna stay. It's up to you" I said with a shrug

Kite allowed small relaxed sigh leave her lips as Jake’s cool hand ran over the hot bruise on her arm. She smiled, looking up at him with eyes like that of a child, “Thank you, that feels nice.”
She shook her feline featured head at Jake’s apology, “No need to apologize, I don’t think either of us would have noticed that guy in the first place anyway”
She beamed, her energy slowly easing back into her small body as she followed Jake out of the room. As she followed the elder teen, she realized how attached she had already become to him. He was like an elder brother or a best friend…..perhaps her feelings for him were even a little deeper than that.

Kite shook her head, her fluffy brown hair feathering in all directions as she pulled from her thoughts, a reddish blush upon her cheeks.
Jake lead her into another room, she followed him closely. The room was rather large, it held a lovely thick carpet at its centre while a large ornate fireplace surged from it’s middle wall. Kite liked the atmosphere of the room, it was cool and soothing. She stepped away from Jakes side before padding silently towards the room’s centre. She smiled blissfully before reciting a few complex ballet steps. She really liked how spacious the room was as she danced. Her movements were fluent and graceful, the complete opposite of her perky, blunt personality.
Jake’s voice suddenly reached her, she stopped and listen to his words with a cheeky, excited grin upon her cheeks, “That’s sounds awesome, My parents never allow me to light a fire in our fireplace…..I think they might still be a bit nervous about what happened last time” she finished with a pleased grin.
“I’ll help you with the wood” she offered.

I chuckled and watched her. "I will help the best i can without it falling through my hands, i gotta have enough energy in the air to pick things up let alone carry them" I said with a smile and walked to where she was going my boots made faint footsteps on the hardwood floor, creating that still eerie vibe throughout the house. I could carry a few smaller logs towards the fireplace and tossed them in. "so you have everything you need right?" I asked and hovered in the corner of the dark room

Kite beamed at Jake’s comment as he approached her. She then followed him with a skip in her step; it was almost as though the events of the robbery had not happened and therefore had not affected her.
She stopped, her eyes watching Jake’s actions admirably, she wanted to help too. She bounded towards the pile on which the logs had been stet and with a determined expression on her feline face, she picked of few from the top of the pile before clambering clumsily after Jake with the logs in her arms. She mimicked him and dropped them into the fireplace. The girl grinned excitedly, “I think so…but what do we really need to make a fire?” She asked thoughtfully and obviously ignorant to how to do everyday tasks.
As she pondered this thought she heard the sudden familiar calling of her name. Kite cocked her head confusedly before turned to Jake wondering if he had called her. The voice called again, it’s tone frantic, holding a nervously high pitch to it.
The little brown haired girl shrugged her shoulders at Jake, who had obviously not been the owner of the voice. Kite grew curious, “I think someone’s calling me…how late is it?” she asked wide eyed.

I heard the voice, and felt the presence well before she acknowledged it. "Matches. Something tells me that you havent made a fire before" I chuckled and moved a box of matches from one part of the room to the other in front of her on the table. I heard the voice again and this time so did she. "How late? Umm, maybe eight thirty" I said with a guessing tone, last time i had looked it was just quarter past eight. So maybe fifteen minutes had passed since. "Why? Do you have to be home?" I asked
