(Sorry I went away for the weekend, but I'm back now)
As kite entered the study, she felt a icy wave of air blow over he small body. She felt her hair stand on end as a shiver of Goosebumps embedded into her tanned skin. Her feline-like eyes darted towards the windows, watching them in slight amusement as they frosted from the corners towards the centre.
The brown haired girl was about to step deeper into the office, but she found her path blocked. A pale figure suddenly stood before her, his features aggressive, and for good reason. Kite was in a ghost’s home, it’s resting place…. a place in which she did not belong, though whether this bother her much was yet to be seen.
The girl stared up at the figure, her yellow eyes wide with surprise as she examined him; he was tall, far taller than her….. he held handsome features; dark brown hair very similar to hers… but something else had caught her attention and she drew closer to him in order to get a better look. This boy… he held the most amazing set of eyes, ultramarine blue in colour, yet they looked slightly out of place on his fading body. Kite opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off as the figure broke into an aggressive growl, “What do you want?”
Kite felt instinctive fear clutch her belly as her mind told her to run, yet strangely enough the little girl remained where she was. She moved her arm towards the phantom, allowing her hand to pass right through him, “Your quite strange for a ghost you know? I always had this idea that they were something more animalistic, but your most certainly human and to top it off a rather handsome one too, I applaud that!......Oh you asked what I wanted, sorry sometimes my mind runs away with my mouth, My name is Kite by the way, it’s nice to meet you….Um.. what I’m here for..Hmmmm let me think, I’m…errrrr.. Oh Yes!, I’m supposed to take a photo of the phantom living in this house, you see there is a legend about a boy who died here and they say his ghost still haunts the place, I feel kinda bad for him and when my classmates dared me to come here, I came to meet the ghost” She finished quickly.
Kite beamed rather excitedly at the boy, perhaps she hadn’t put her puzzle pieces together yet and realized that the ghost before her was in fact the one from the story.
