indentationCallisto blinked at the girl, an eyebrow lifting. They could do that? It'd never occurred to Callisto she could just.. leave. Or sneak out, which is what they were probably doing. "Uh, sure." She shrugged, doing her best to give the girl a friendly smile. "I'm Callisto. So.. we're going to the underworld?" Callisto piqued, her previous wariness starting to be replaced with excitement. The underworld? How many people could say they've visited the realm of the dead before? Speaking of spirits and the underworld- where was Kosmo? She found her eyes searching around her, a slight confused frown on her face. The dog was usually by her side, but Callisto hadn't seen him all day. Eh, he was probably doing spirit dog stuff. Digging up bones from 100 years ago and such.

Mirabelle continued to back away, mistrust flashing in her gaze. Cashmere followed suit and a low growl rumbled in her throat. Her unsteady breath fogged the air before her as a cold breeze suddenly ripped through the area. Mirabelle's unease grew, and she unsheathed her stiletto dagger and held it in her left hand. The temperature seemed to drop about ten degrees. The against the trees sounded oddly like cold, cruel laughter, and it seemed to be emanating from all around the group. Mirabelle's grey-blue eyes darted around the park for any sign of Khione's minions. Cashmere's snarl grew in volume, and she tucked her tail tighter between her legs.

Juliet snickered at Chloe's comment as she let the door slam closed behind them. "Well then, shall we go pilfer some skates from the Hephaestus cabin?" She was certain they'd probably just give them the skates, but no doubt they'd ask a favour in return. If there was anything Juliet hated, it was being in debt to someone. "Oh, what shoe size are you, by the way?" she inquired. "And would you prefer hockey skates or figure skates? Hockeys are more comfortable, but figures allow for more trick moves and stuff."

"Like, kind of weapons, man," Chuck replied. "Um, but like, that's more the Ares and Athena cabins' gig. Hephaestus is like, all about inventin' and stuff. He like, forges weapons, but like, I've never heard of any of his children that can control weapons, man. Like I said, that's like, more of an Athena or Ares thing." He scratched the spot behind his ear as he continued speaking. "But like, his kids are like, expert builders and mechanics, and they, like, can control machines, man. Some of them have like, fire powers, but that's rare." He considered her question about Camp Half-Blood before he started talking again. "Camp Half-Blood is like, a safe haven for demigods, man," Chuck explained. "Like, it functions as like, a summer camp, but like, some demigods stay here year-round. There's like, cabins and stuff for each god - like, Hephaestus' is number nine, man. It's like, that brick one that has a smokestack comin' outta the roof. Looks like a mini factory or somethin'."

Cami's amber eyes flashed menacingly as she extended her right hand in greeting. She held Logan's hand in a strong grip, meeting his playful gaze with an annoyed glare. Unbeknownst to her, her hand had unwittingly heated up far beyond the norm for human temperatures. "Logan's a stupid name," she commented childishly. "Might as well just call you 'Loser'. And if you say 'Princess' one more time, I'm gonna plant an arrow in your forehead. Oh wait, that was a bad threat - seeing as you don't have any brains there to protect." She folded her arms over her chest again, quite pleased with her insult.

Sam squealed as Donovan pulled her into him, though soon she found herself smiling. She began giggling and just wrapped her arms around the boy's neck. "It is really nice in here." She admitted, letting go of the boy. She walked back over to the door and leaned up against the frame. "Let's get going, yeah?" She asked, raising a brow. "How long does it take one person to change a shirt?" She asked with a raised brow, though she was still smiling.

Nick watched the scene unfold around them. No one was literally saying the one thing on everyone's mind. "This is the most stupid thing I have ever heard, Storm." He said with a scowl. He pulled his dagger, Ritsa, from the sheath on his side. "We've gotten enough help from you, Storm." He said, though there was evident sarcasm in his voice. He rolled his eyes. "You sound absolutely mental, Storm. There's no forests for miles." He said with an incredulous look to Mirabelle. Did the girl really let Storm come on the quest? He just sighed and rolled his eyes. "Maybe you can just ride your dragon friend off into the sunset and never see us again, yeah?" He said to the girl with a smile, though his eyes showed just how angry he was. Nick looked over at Finn and saw him backing away. Nick glared at Storm before he walked over to the other boy. "Calm down, kid." He said, placing a hand on Finn's shoulder. He stopped the boy in his tracks, though Ritsa was still in his hand, his knuckles white from gripping the dagger so hard. He looked at the dragon and then back at Storm. He listened to Mirabelle. The girl was right. Dragons couldn't cast magic. "Are you working for them, Storm?" He asked with narrowed eyes. He let go of Finn and held his dagger closer to him.

Logan took her firm grip, though soon he felt a zap of heat on his hand. He jumped back and held his wrist. "What the hell!" He exclaimed, looking down at his left hand, which now was a bright red color. He sneered, though he then found himself start to smile as the pain subsided. "Yeah, and Cami sounds like a redneck version of camo." He said with a two fingered salute with his right hand. He rolled his eyes. "That hurt like Hades, by the way." He said with a roll of his eyes. He looked to the ground and stamped on it. "No offense dad." He said with a chuckle, though he soon looked back up at the girl in front of him.

" ohhhhh" she said to chuck before letting out a calm laugh, the sound surprising her. How long had it been since she'd laughed? " There must be a mistake, then, because I'm terrible with my hands." She turned to mason, a look of calm horror on her face as she spoke " how can you sleep knowing that someone could bring a monster in to the camp at night and kill you?"

"oh." he looks a bit disappointed, but he doesn't argue. "see you later, i guess."
he walks back towards the cabins. "well, now that i have nobody to talk to, i dunno what to do." he shivers, rubbing his shoulders. "and i wish this darn snow would stop." she glances at nick. "yeah. i can see where he's coming from." she sighs. "even though it would be great to have some fast travel that's not a bus, i don't think i would trust a dragon- a monster that can kill us, may i remind you- to take us there."

"a hephaestus kid that's not good with her hands? that's a new one." he laughs. it's a bit harsh-sounding.
he shrugs at her question. "from what i can tell, the only kids who would purposely allow a monster into camp is my siblings." he gives her a wicked-looking grin. "the ares kids, that is. and we'd only do it for practice."

"bye, lovebirds," she says, snickering. she runs off back towards camp.
as she reenters camp, she wonders what she could do. the snow is deep, which makes it hard to do anything. "gods, this sucks," she mumbles, and changed her path to head back to the ares cabin.

Mirabelle shivered as the air got even colder. "Um, guys?" she squeaked out. "I think -" she was cut off as a fist of frigid air hit her in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her. She doubled over, wheezing as she gasped for breath. A small about of ice had spread over her coat where she'd been punched. She barely had time to think zut alors before a mass of Niphoi took shape around the group. Mirabelle counted at least four times the amount that they'd faced the previous morning, but she couldn't be sure - there were so many! The army of humanoid blizzards bore down upon the demigods, emitting shrieks that sounded like howling wind. Mirabelle parried another blow while Cashmere sank her teeth into a nearby Niphus. One of the creatures grabbed ahold of her left arm, coating her shoulder in ice. Adrenaline pounded through her veins as she slashed at it with her Xiphos. The creature released an ear-splitting screech as it exploded into dust, but another took its place almost directly after it had been vaporised.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to -" Cami started, but she soon comprehended Logan's words. "Well, my full name is Camilla, which sounds stupider that Cami." She stuck her tongue out at Logan childishly, though her fiery glare had softened into something a bit more playful. It felt nice to banter with someone - Patrick was too sensitive for her to really do that with, and he was too nice. The name 'Hades' caught her attention. "Wait a sec - you're a son of Hades?" she inquired. "That's actually pretty cool. Um, not that I'm impressed or anything, Zombie Boy."

Nick watched Mirabelle topple over. "Mira!" He called out, the thoughts on the dragon completely forgotten. "Don't make yourself a dragon-human-god-thing beacon again, idiot." He said to her, though he was gone before she could reply. He tried to push his way toward Mirabelle, but soon found himself surrounded by Niphoi. He gritted his teeth and stabbed Ritsa into a Niphus, though no matter how hard he fought, there always seemed to be an infinite amount of monsters. He sighed and felt a freezing cold spot on his let cheek. He continued fighting, though he lifted one arm to his cheek and noticed it felt icy. Not just icy, but slick. And cold, very cold. He gritted his teeth. He couldn't worry about that now. He had to get to Mirabelle. He had to.

Logan snickered and nodded. "Camilla is pretty ugly." He said with a nod, but he felt a smirk on his lips. "The name, I mean. You're pretty hot..." He trailed off, his hands in his pockets. "For someone with a DIY haircut." He said with a nod. As he called her zombie boy, he just rolled his eyes. "Haven't heard that one before." He said with a chuckle. "No, doll, I'm a daughter of Hades." He said with a roll of his eyes. "Yes, I'm a son of Hades." He said with a playful smile.

Storm was angry. "And just what do you mean by "What exactly do you mean by 'Working with them'!? Mettalic dragons are good! You would kill me, Nick? Like I said, Silver dragons are protectors! What is a good and proper reason I have given you not to trust me?!" She looks at the Nipholi coming at them. "OH COME ON! YOU HAD TO COME NOW!?!? NOW YOU MADE ME LOOK BAD!!!" She gets her bow off, knocks an arrow, and aims it at the Nipholi that seemed to be the leader. "Make a move, and I will, ice face. And, Nick, believe me, I've learned not to do that!" She growls at the Nipholi, and the largest one hissed at her. She let go of the arrow, and The Nipholi screamed, then disintegrated at the combined force of Celestial Bronze sharp objects, and 5000 volts of electricity. Storm snarled letting loose a few more arrows, protecting the 3 demigods who were huddled together.
