This Rp uses the races, hints at some of the relations between the races , and loosely follows the governmental system that are present in the mass effect game series. Everything else is made up/ will be made up by the rp as it goes along

【 Welcome to deep space program! Not quite sure what you signed up, well that's expected considering it was involuntary. You will are on a ship that is heading for the citadel, the center for intergalactic hub. You will from there be sent on suicide missions and other tasks that the council dedicates to you. Try not to start a war, good luck Polaris Crew.】

【Background of the Rp:】
【A group of human delinquents, ages 17-24, have been put on the Polaris ship and sent to the Citadel Council as a sign that humans are willing to cooperate. From here you have different routes to choose as one of these delinquents, are you as cooperative as possible because you know it's for the good of your species, even if it was involuntary, or do you fight against your new orders determined to maintain your sense of freedom. Various alien races aligned or unaligned to the citadel are playable as well, should you want to be one. As one of the many alien races how do you view these new life forms being sent on missions with you, as a liability or a help.】

- It would be preferable for everyone to have at least one human character
- Keep it diverse, if there are ten Turians don't make another.
- Lgbt+ friendly
- Your characters can get injured in fights and scuffles
- That said you may not wound another rpers character permanently without permission
- you may not kill another rpers character without there permission
- Chicken smoothie rules apply

They are neutral and don't seem to have any notably good or bad relations with other species

They can live to be over a thousand years old, and they are a mono-gendered species capable of reproducing with any other gender or species.

They are hated by the Krogan for the genophage

They have extremely fast metabolisms leading to quick speech and a 40 year life span.

They are hostile to most other races but especially hate the Salarian because they created the genophage which sterilized the population.

They can survive in extremely harsh environment due to the fact that they used to live on a nuclear wasteland planet

They hate the Geth's because of an ongoing war between the two

They must have environmental suits on at all times as they have incredibly weak immune systems

They work on the citadel and don't harbor any ill will towards any species

They have to wear masks as living in an environment inhospitable to most other races has made environments that are considered hospitably toxic

They are friends of the Asari and have no fueds with any other races

Skylar was 16 when her and a few cohorts decided to rob an armory, for whatever reason the leader of the band said. This landed her a ticket to around 25 years in jail, however that sentence was cut short when the government began drafting people to go on the Polaris mission. Wanting to get out of the confines of the jail Skylar immediately signed up.
