Pearl held the spear pointed at his head as he talked, and showed no signs of amusement. Why would he call her a ballerina? She couldn't exactly tell why, but it really irked her that he did. Her eyes flickered a bit in surprise at the faint glowing she spotted in the corner of her eye. He was not a human, that's for sure. Humans didn't glow.. or did they? Rose's son glowed as a child. No, that was his gem. She scanned him again, but saw no gem. What in the world was this creature? She just listened to his side of the story, and looked down at the ground to think about her actions. She was greatly startled upon seeing him summon a red disk that resembled a shield. Returning her gaze to the ruined ground, she listened to his story of his kin back at home. He served a higher power, just like she did during her time of serving Homeworld. Pearl looked back up with a pang of slight guilt, lowering her spear and sighing heavily. This creature had a lot in common with gems, she thought. He could summon a weapon of some kind, and he also had the ability to glow. Not only that, he had a duty to protect someone else back at home. She didn't have the metaphorical heart to hurt this man who had just as much important things to do as her. But the letter said she had to be the last one standing to return home. There's got to be some other way, right? She hated the idea of hurting innocents as well. "..I have a son to take care of at home as well." she began solemnly, already missing him and the Crystal Gems. She left so suddenly. Who knows how they're reacting to it right now. Thinking about it further, she picked up the spear and returned it to her head. Looking back up with seriousness, she nodded. "I mean no harm. It's just that the letter said--"

Pearl looked back down at the paper she held under her arm, and crinkled it slightly. Why was she special enough to be taken anyway? It was so angering. She frowned at it, her angry expression melting into one of sadness. Just the fact that it was possible she may never return home was very depressing. She had to win, but at the same time, did she really want to? Remembering all the times Garnet and Amethyst got upset at her, Pearl lowered her head a little in shame. She most likely wouldn't be missed. But Steven.. he always loved her. She couldn't just leave him like that. What would she do? Ugh! Why was the realization so hard? She folded the letter up a second time, then returned to face the man. "We can.. make this work. I think," she began, tapping her foot in thought. "Exie is out there, and I'm not letting them get away with this! And they're out there watching us."

Stinger, huh? Is that a nickname? Miu thought when the young man introduced himself. When he mentioned ‘the Ultimate Saviors’ she frowned. ”Yeah, no. That’s not what I mean.” She felt like she should know what that is, as it had ‘Ultimate’ in the title and she was an Ultimate, but she couldn’t remember ever hearing of such a group. She didn’t think too hard on it, it wasn’t important now. ”Well, whatever. I’m Miu Iruma, the Ultimate Inventor! I’m sure you’ve heard of me before.” She said, grinning haughtily. ”Anyways...the hell are we supposed to do now?” If they wanted to get out of this place, they had to be the last one standing, meaning everyone else had to die. While Miu wanted to escape, she wasn’t keen on the idea of killing someone. Plus, she didn’t even have any weapons. If she had tools she could fashion something, but all she had were the clothes on her back and the pamphlet left by Exie.

    Azura//FE:13//Tags: Klaus
”I see. You are also the only person who I’ve seen.” She said. ”Do you want to stay together...? In a situation like this I think it would be best to stay in a group. Perhaps we can go look for others and try to find a way out of this place.” She didn’t like to think that in order for someone to escape, everyone else had to die. There had to be some other way for them to escape. Though her situation back home was not great, she vastly preferred it over this. Azura wondered if because she was here, maybe someone she knew was here too. While it would be a relief to see a friendly face, at the same time she wouldn’t wish this situation on anyone.

Cassian nodded his agreement, and was rather relieved that the tall woman decided not to attack him. The red shield drained back into the Siphons, and was gone from sight. Exie. This person claimed to want entertainment. Surely, this was not entertainment. Entertainment was theatre, drama, painting, playing games. Not killing. Cassian rubbed the back of his head, thinking. This woman said she had a son back home, and she'd been taken here instead of nurturing one she cared about so much. He felt a pang of pity for her, but didn't let it show as he walked over to her. He looked her over again, such a dainty tall being-- and yet, she held the stance that said she was ready to kill. But Cassian figured you'd have to make allies in this game, despite if you were to kill the others. But Cassian would find a way out of this. This was so wrong, killing others to get home. Didn't everyone had their own right to get home? To see their loved ones again?

Cassian stopped infront of her, and loosened his wings-- letting them lazily droop to the ground. He would never let his wings do this if he were home, where it showed weakness. But Cassian figured that since she didn't know how Illyrians acted, he could let loose a little bit. Of course, he'd have to stay on his toes in case of danger. He extended hand for a handshake. "My name is Cassian." He told her, a broad smile spreading over his face. Cassian eyed the gem on her forehead curiously. He could only wonder just how she'd gotten that gem on her forehead, perhaps she'd use a spell. But she didn't smell like any human or Fae he's ever met. "How did you get that gem in your forehead? Does it hurt?" Cassian tilted his head in a curious manner.

Pearl was relieved to see him nod in agreement. As the man thought, she awkwardly looked down at the ground, tapping her fingers together to think as well. Wondering what he was thinking about, she simply awaited an answer. Looking up, she responded with a weak smile of her own, still keeping her defensive stance if this was some kind of trick. Returning the handshake, she slowly loosened up herself. "I'm Pearl." She responded with a blank look returning to her face. "No-- it doesn't hurt. It's a part of me. I'm a gem." she responded as if he would already know what they are. She took this opportunity to examine Cassian again. The gem had quite a few questions to ask about himself as well. "I hope you don't find offense in me asking what you are. You look human.. yet you have wings. And.. you can glow." He was certainly intriguing and a little fascinating. The Earth was such an amazing planet with so much that's unknown, even by its inhabitants. It wouldn't surprise her too much if this was an undiscovered species. Unable to hide her fascination, she walked all around him while eyeing the man up and down. Noticing how strange she looked while doing this, she promptly stopped and cleared her throat. "We'd best not idle. There has to be a way home that.. involves less violence. And that person would know another way."

Cassian dropped his hand as she did, and looked at the large round red Siphons on either gauntlet. Could there possibly a personification of Siphons? That would be super cool! Cassian looked at the Siphons for a moment before turning his head back to Pearl, who asked him just exactly what he was. He felt slightly taken aback, as he'd never been asked this question. Usually people were imitated by him to where they saw and didn't ask questions. Of course, Nesta was an exception to this. But he'd never had to explain what he was, that was something that scarcely was an option for him. He'd have to explain army plans, but never what he was. "I'm an Illyrian." He flared his wings, as if it were obvious to tell with them spread out. They were large, and had a great wingspan. But nothing compared to Azriel's, which was quite unfortunate. "I'm honestly glad I'm not human," He almost chuckled, "because if I was I'd be long dead by now. Not to mention, I would probably had been a slave and that wouldn't have been fun." The muscled man shivered, then went to the attention of him glowing. But last time he'd checked, he didn't glow. "I think you're talking about my Siphons." He rose up a hand, showing off one of the large red gems. "The most powerful Illyrians get them. But usually, they're much smaller than this and you'd only get one. A fellow friend of mine and I require seven large Siphons to control our powers." Cassian said, his voice reeking with pride as he puffed out his broad chest. He might be a little short on what he could do at the current time being-- but he'd figure that out later.

Cassian nodded as she mentioned another way to get home, and tucked his wings behind his back. He completely agreed, there had to be a way to do this. Even if it meant killing Exie, or making a bargain with them. But Cassian didn't want to make a bargain, he'd much prefer to wring their neck when he found them. But he forced himself not to have a spiteful look on his face as he thought aloud, "I'd say we find out where this Exie is hiding, and force them to comply to conditions-- even if that means breaking every bone in their body to make them give up information." Cassian's tone was deadly, and he frowned deeply. He wanted to go home, but without hurting any innocents. And Exie surely wasn't an innocent. "But I'm quite sure they have prying eyes around. So we'd better be careful when we speak of plans. Makes me wish my shadowsinger friend was here instead of me. I'm only useful when it comes to combat, not at spying an combat like Azriel." Cassian rambled, frowning deeply. He glanced up to Pearl, thinking of how she planned to get out. She looked like a rather knowledgeable person, after all.

Female - 13 - Satsuriku no Tenshi (Horror RPG) - Form - Location: City - Tagged: Labrys, Keebo

Rachel blinked when Labrys defended Keebo. Judging from the mechanical girl's tone, it seemed that her comment might be perceived as a bit inappropriate or rude, and while she herself couldn't see what was so wrong, she did not want to offend the robot. "Um... Sorry," she apologized, rather awkwardly, turning to Keebo with a slight frown. She shifted her attention back towards Labrys as she replied to her statement about Exie. So, Labrys didn't remember anything about Exie either. It was strange to think that they would be brought here by a strange figure whom they couldn't even remember. The worst thing about this whole thing was that this Exie was forcing them to kill each other or die a horrible death just for entertainment. Rachel couldn't help but be reminded of one of the killers she had to face before. That killer had tried to kill her and Zack in various ways as "punishment" for being "sinners". Rachel disliked how she had taunted them and treated them as her playthings, and she was getting the same vibe from this Exie even though the only thing she knew about her was her words from the pamphlet. The almost-taunting manner of the words the mastermind had written on the pamphlet really rubbed Rachel the wrong way. She wasn't Exie's toy- she should be allowed to choose how, when, and why she died without having to try to make it entertaining for Exie. And she did not want to be killed by any of the things in Dusthaven.

The mechanical maiden's firm voice brought the young girl back to reality. Rachel disagreed with the part where she said that it didn't even matter right now, but nodded anyways. Labrys was right; they should take refuge immediately. The robot seemed to be sincere with her desire to help, though Rachel was still a little suspicious. It couldn't be helped- after all, there was always the potential that someone might betray them. However, if the two of them didn't have any harmful intentions towards her, then staying with them would seem to be a good option to ensure her survival. Like Labrys had pointed out before Keebo came along, she was quite small and had no idea how to survive in the wilderness, having spent most of her life in the city. "Okay..." she agreed. "Um... Maybe we should find somewhere with more shade, since it's hot out here in the open. Are robots in danger of overheating?" It would probably be bad if one of them suddenly had their circuits melted or something.

Male - 16-17 - Danganronpa V3 - Form - Location: City Square - Tagged: Princess

Rantaro was glad that he managed to diffuse the dark atmosphere a little. Princess seemed to be making an attempt to be friendly, which he thought was a good thing. In fact, he could probably consider this interaction to be positive, as he was still alive and standing and Princess had made no attempt to kill him yet. Her words piqued his interest, though. She was right about that. One would be focused on the elimination part, but reading through the pamphlet more thoroughly would suggest that they would just have to die in some way that entertained Exie. Of course, someone as twisted as Exie would probably enjoy it much more if the participants were at each other's throats rather than working together to combat the dangers of this world and somehow failing. He did not know what sort of people had been pulled into this game. The majority of people would probably be quite abhorred by the idea of having to kill to get out, though Rantaro couldn't be too sure. After all, many people of many different backgrounds might have been collected and put into this place, as evident by both his and Princess's presence. Maybe there might be those who had no qualms about killing, and that thought put Rantaro a bit on edge. Rantaro also felt like something else stood out from the pamphlet's description, which was the "perk" that the players who managed to entertain Exie would get. Now, that was troubling. What sort of perk would Exie hand out? More importantly, would anyone actually fall for the bait?

Rantaro smiled in amusement at Princess's words. One-in-a-million. How ironic that Rantaro had gotten himself into more than one killing game in a lifetime. One might think he led a cursed life. "True. All we should focus on for now is to survive," he agreed, nodding. He watched Princess walked away from the tree, claiming that being out here in the open was giving her the creeps. The scratch marks on the bark of the tree Princess had been leaning on was surely an ominous sign, and then there was the lack of cover that their surroundings provided. Rantaro debated on what he should do from this point. Perhaps it would be wise to try to find himself a weapon to defend himself with. He wasn't going to kill anyone, but he certainly had to be prepared. Besides, there were wild animals around as well. However, Princess had paused for a moment to glance back at him, as if silently inviting him to come along. He wondered if he should. There was certainly a risk of being at Princess's mercy if she decided to attack, but being along was probably more risky. If something did try to attack the two of them, at least Princess would be more focused on eliminating the threat than on him. "Do you mind if I tag along for a bit?" he asked, proceeding to catch up with Princess.

(Oof, sorry if my post is a bit sloppy... My muse is kinda uncooperative for the past few days XD)

Pearl watched in awe as Cassian showed himself off. An Illyrian? That sounded like a hard word to say. He flared out his wings, causing her to place a hand on her mouth in fascination. She stood silent and observant at the introduction. Smiling a little at the gem he pulled out, she thought that the idea of both their gems containing their powers was amusing. Barely understanding a word he said but still in awe, she nodded while hiding her wonder. Quickly shifting her mind to the matter at hand, she returned her gaze to the note as Cassian spoke, she wondered how they would start. Although she usually had some knowledge and desire to think of solutions on her own, she was also very accustomed to just following orders. One reason why it was so nice to have Garnet around to lead her. Pearl decided to think about what Cassian said about eyes watching their every move, and realized that no progress would have to be made right away. First thing's first, they'd have to survive their efforts. If they wanted to face Exie, they can't be dead trying. And since she made an ally who's intentions seemed pure, she had to make sure he would live through this as well. Now, what did humans need to survive.. food. Water. Now, he wasn't a human. But, he looked like a human in general, and she assumed he might have the needs of one. Closing the letter and examining their environment, she decided that it might be best to adapt as quickly as possible before deciding to go on the hunt. "Yes indeed.. which is why we should focus on staying alive and not talking of plans right away. After all, we'll never get home if we don't live trying." she started calmly, returning to the thought of "keeping their audience engaged." "So! We should most likely try and find a good place to set up and think about plans for tomorrow." She was not very good at this whole leading thing, if she was being honest. But her goal was simple. Keep her ally safe and return him home, as well as herself. Hopefully they'd both be on board, but she awaited an answer from him, not completely shut out from suggestions.

Klaus readily agreed. "Yes, of course!" He agreed with her sentiment. In the boy's mind, he wanted to confront the person who imprisoned them here. Than, after defeating the monster, he would make sure that they let them go. After all, a apocalypse is no excuse to inflict suffering upon innocent people. "Perhaps we should begin moving?"

      Keebo
      ───────────────────────────────────
      17 Male DV3 Tagged: Labrys & Rachel

Rachel's words hit him harder than he had expected and he was instantly reminded of how Kokichi always treated him. He was more than aware that his appearance still had its flaws in terms of looking human, but that was something he couldn't control. Professor Idabashi had been the one that had made him the way he was. Honestly, Keebo never had had a problem with his own appearance. It still had a humanoid figure and was relatively lightweight for something made out of metal which made him feel more human. He always tried to avoid looking sci-fi-ish if possible just to simply fit in yet Rachel instantly pointed out the flaw. Should he consider such to be a robophobic remark or perhaps her remark was just rude? Either way, Keebo shifted uncomfortably as he tried to process a response. Luckily he was saved from needing to speak as Labrys piped up to defend him. Her words allowed him to relax. "Labrys is correct. I cannot help my appearance, but I mature much like a human and I only possess the intelligence and strength of an average human," he explained, figuring he should make it clear that other aspects of him were far more human.

Deciding to leave the topic at that, the robot tried to focus on the young girl's next question. At the mention of Exie, he gave a curt nod. "Yes, that was what the pamphlet said, but again like Labrys said I have nothing in my memory bank that explains how I was brought here," he mused. It was oddly familiar to how he had woken up before the killing game at the Ultimate Academy, but this time he at least had memories of where he had originally come from. Everything beyond that was unknown to him. Maybe he should mention that he had been pulled from a killing game. Glancing between the two, he wondered how they might react to such information. Would they see him as more of a threat? If that was the case then maybe keeping quiet was better. He couldn't afford to lose any allies right now. "I agree, we should take up shelter for now." He paused for a moment when he heard Rachel speak up once again. Her suggestion was logical and he couldn't help but agree with it even though he hated to admit that the risk of overheating was possible. He had never been sure of why his creator forbid him from being in direct sunlight for long periods of time, but he could only assume that it was for such a reason. "Shade would be best. I'm not sure if I can overheat, but there is a possibility that I can."

      Momo Yaoyorozu
      ───────────────────────────────────
      16 Female BNHA Tagged: Deidara

Nodding at his first statement, Momo knew she couldn't disagree. To always have to be on guard was something that might end up turning those present against one another. It certainly was something difficult to have to overcome. With the circumstances they were placed under it was dangerous to trust anyone yet it felt necessary to do so to be able to survive in the end. She was willing to trust others, but the fear of being betrayed did linger in her mind. This wasn't like her hero training. All these people weren't heroes trying to do the right thing. It was possible they didn't care about following any kind of rules or about keeping others alive. For now she would simply have to believe neither of those were true. "I am Momo Yaoyorozu and I hail from the Aichi Prefecture," she replied. She wasn't sure if it would mean anything to him given that she didn't seem to know of the place that he had spoke of. Perhaps then they were not from the same world. It was an odd thought, but it seemed plausible given the circumstances they were currently under. She hadn't thought of the possibility before, but this whole situation made it seem like it was quite possible for other universes to exist somewhere out there. Such information was actually quite amazing. "Anyways, if we've both been trapped here then perhaps we should work together and see if we can find a way out without having to succumb to the desires of this Exie. I would prefer to avoid violence if possible."

Azura smiled, glad that she wasn’t alone in this bizarre situation. ”Yes, let’s.” She nodded. She began to walk, looking to make sure that Klaus was coming along. ”I thought a saw a road through the trees. Perhaps if we follow that, we’ll find others.” She said. There had to be another way to end this game, a way without violence. Azura certainly didn’t plan on killing anyone, besides she wasn’t much of a fighter. While she could defend herself if needed, it was not her role in battle. She was support, a songstress. She wasn’t meant to fight, nor did she want to. As she walked, she carefully watched their surroundings, looking out for any of the dangerous plants or animals that were mentioned in the pamphlet given to them.
