stinger - 24 - kyuranger - taggged ;;
Now, due to the trouble he constantly found himself in, Stinger had a sense of constant worry. He wasn't paranoid, but he always checked to make sure he was where he left himself last. Between travelling in search of his brother, and stupid pranks by his teammates, you could never be too safe. So as he started to come to, he knew something was a miss. Feeling around with his hand, a startled gecko scuttled over his hand. Opening his eyes, he looked around with feelings of surprise, disappointment and just slight anger. As he sat up, he couldn't help but think that this place looked like one of the desolate planets he had passed through on his travels. He brushed over what felt like pages.
Quickly scanning through them as he sat on the ground, Stinger's disappointment just grew larger and larger. Of course this would happen to him of all people. Tucking them inside a jacket pocket, he (thankfully) found his spear and stood up. "Might as well see the area.." He grumbled to himself, making his way to the street and crunching over the now gravelly road, looking to each side now and again.

ʀᴀᴄʜᴇʟ ɢᴀʀᴅɴᴇʀ
Female - 13 - Satsuriku no Tenshi (Horror RPG) - Form - Location: Somewhere in the city - Tagged: Open

A pair of bright blue eyes flickered open. Rachel stirred from her slumber, groggily looking around. She could feel the gravelly particles slipping between her fingers. Concrete, with bits of dirt and chipped gravel around. Rachel could feel her petite body ache all over, as if someone had picked her up and rolled her down a concrete slope in her sleep. It was terribly hot as well. The girl directed her gaze around, surveying the area. It was an unfamiliar place to her, although this wasn't the first time she had awaken in an unfamiliar location. It seemed like... a city. An abandoned city of sorts, with the buildings looking all shabby and dilapidated. Plants were growing around the city. Weeds and grass sprouted from cracks in the concrete around her, creeping vines hung down from the broken windows of the ruined skyscrapers... She'd never seen this place before. How had she gotten to this place? As the girl tried to recall how she had somehow made her way here, a person suddenly popped up in her mind. Zack. Her last memory was that she had been with him, but she couldn't recall exactly what had happened. Her mind was a foggy mess. However, the girl quickly sat up and looked around. Her blonde hip-length hair was as disheveled as ever, and she brushed some of the stray locks out of her eyes. Her eyes scanned around for signs of the tall, bandaged man known as Zack. Where could he be? Did he bring me here? she thought. As she pressed her hands on the ground in order to prop herself up, she felt the rustling of paper between her fingers. She wrapped her fingers around the sheet of paper and brought it up in front of her.

It was... a pamphlet of sorts? She flipped it over, her blue gaze scanning across the page. It spoke of a "gladiatorial combat" of sorts. So, basically, this place was called Dusthaven. There were people other than Rachel who had been brought to this place... in a fight to the death. The girl scrunched up her eyebrows a little. Who was this Exie? Why had Exie picked her, out of all people, to participate in this strange event? There were many questions left unanswered, but one thing Rachel knew was that she was going to be targetted once again. There would be many people trying to kill her, again. At least, she was better informed in this situation. The last time she had found herself in a strange location, she'd been thrown in as a "sacrifice" for a bunch of serial killers without much preparation. At least she wouldn't be the only target this time. Rachel was determined not to lose this "game". She had made a promise- there was only one person that could kill her, and that was Zack. Everybody else who stood in her way would just have to go... like last time. Rachel tucked away the pamphlet in her black bag, noticing that her sewing kit and empty handgun were still inside. Also, a chipped yet somehow still razor sharp knife. A gift from Zack, to protect herself until she could be killed by him. It would certainly come in handy.

This wasn't the first time Rantaro had been thrust into a completely unfamiliar location. Waking up, the first thing Rantaro noticed was the open sky above him and the stinging heat. The teenage boy sat upright, his green gaze sweeping across the area. It was... a city. Underneath him was hard concrete, though cracked in places. From between those cracks, weeds and grass sprouted. The whole place gave off a dilapidated, unkempt feel, as if this city had not been inhabited for years. There were tall buildings surrounding the place, and most of them looked like they were on the brink of collapse. Bits of wreckage were strewn all over the place. It seemed like some of the buildings had already collapsed. The place was almost like a jungle by now. Plants were growing everywhere. Creeping plants hung down the crumbling walls of the buildings, out of broken windows. Weeds were all over the place. For a moment, he was reminded of that Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles he had been in prior to finding himself here, though this place looked much worse for wear. At least, back in the Ultimate Academy, the facilities were still decent enough despite all the plants growing in the complex. Speaking of which... How in the world did he end up in this place? From that academy, no less. Rantaro was sure that he would've remembered if he'd escaped that academy somehow and traveled to this strange city. Unless it was like last time... A sense of dread filled up Rantaro. Was this another killing game? But if it was, how was he able to remember the events of the Ultimate Academy clear as day, and yet forget how he got here? It was certainly a mystery, but Rantaro wasn't going to solve it by sitting around.

As he pressed his hands against the rough surface of the ground, he noticed a sheaf of papers rustling against his fingers. Standing up to his feet, he stretched his aching back a little before bending down to pick up the papers. It was a pamphlet of sorts, crudely put together. The green-haired boy flipped the cover to read the first page. As his gaze continued to absorb every word on the page, the bad feeling he got gradually worsened. It wasn't a killing game like he'd been in prior to this, but it was still a cruel, twisted game of sorts. A "gladiatorial combat" as this Exie person put it. The last one standing would be declared as winner, and allowed to go back home. It was more savage and violent than the previous killing game. In this one, anything goes. They weren't bound by a strict set of rules like last time, where stepping out of line would mean risking one's life. In fact, the previous killing game made it harder to actually kill someone, as one had to cover up one's crimes and survive the trial. However, from what he got from this one, they were given free rein to kill in whatever way they wanted and they wouldn't get any punishment from it. There wasn't the looming threat of punishment if they killed carelessly, which would mean things would get more dangerous in this game. Perhaps it would be good to try to find the others that had been brought here before they could adjust to the rules of this game. That way, he wouldn't suddenly be the target of an assassination attempt on the spot.

Rantaro walked forwards, soon coming to a sort of city square. There was a dilapidated fountain standing in the middle of the square. A flash of pink caught his eye. A woman was standing underneath a ruined-looking tree, with scratches all over the visible portion of the trunk. She seemed to be reading the pamphlet, and it appeared that she'd gone past the first page. Was it safe to approach her now that she was probably informed about the rules of the game? Rantaro decided to take a chance. With his usual friendly and easygoing smile on his face, he approached. "Hello there," he greeted, in a manner as friendly as possible. "Looks like you received that strange pamphlet, too, huh?"

if labrys really did have human skin, she'd defiently be melting right now- at least that's what she asumed would happen in this blazing heat. anything silver and shiny on her body, might actually just scorch you if you were to touch it. small bright sparks flew out from under the girls left black and yellow sleeve, making her wince with pain. cautiously lifting the hefty battle axe, labrys swung it around her non-damaged shoulded to equip it onto her back. the large weapon clipped into place, the long pole shortening up into itself. peering around, the mechanical maiden hadn't actually noticed how broken down the area was, as she had seen was that she was in some city, and there was a lot, of greenery.

her mouth slid into a frown and her eyebrows furrowed, fear and confusion prying at her startled mind. stepping forward, unsure if sticking around here was safe, her red leg cap flattened something beneathe herself. raising her shoulders she recoiled back, sending a sharp gaze from her red eyes to a pamphlet laying right next to where she'd awakened. silently picking it up with hope that this thing could somehow resolve any of the questions in her teetering mind, labrys began to flip through the dusty pages with immense concentration. the second layer of her fake iris whirred, inlarging over the first, lighter layer. scanning each page pernamently into her mind, the mechanical maiden shuddered, although she was used to being put in situations like this by this point, she still hated it with every part of her body.
this situation was very close to the incidents in which she was forced to destroy all of her sisters, or even the shadow clones of her friends in the second incident. thats why they've chosen me, isn't it? wincing down at the paved, moss covered street, labrys's shoulders rose in disgust and hatred for this "exie." she needed to know what she was fighting first, she needed to take care of the main threat here, having to fight other people. nothing else in the book made her as afraid as hurting some random humans that ended up here, if they even are humans. the animals, plants and mental illness gave her no fear, her creation was to be a living weapon, it's not like these could actually harm her, right?

curling her pale lip, the robot peered around, a weak breeze kicking up dead leaves around her. first things first I gotta' find out where others are, who knows what they're like, persona users? monsters? labrys's mind didn't get far with guessing, each time it got worse and worse, this whole situation picking at her fears. perhaps she'd be more calm if she had her friends with her, when the robot was surrounded by her closest bonds, she knew that they could push through, but when alone doubt ebbed through her mind. while gazing down the wavering road, all that she could use to steady herself was in fact the idea of her sister, aigis knew how to handle any situation, even if she was in the worse spot, somehow she'd make it through and save anyone in need.
the automaton's current trail of thought broke up as she saw what looked to be a small child. the girl's crimson eyes lit up with hope as she dashed to the young girl, while doing so she equiped her massive double sided axe, although the way she weilded it was in no way a battle stance. stopping a little bit behind the girl, labrys paused to gaze at the blonde child. her apparence was very regular, she didn't seem like a monster. "hey, who are ya? were you brought here by this exie too?" labrys attempted to keep her voice calm and soft, not wanting to seem intemidating, which she assumed she was very, especially to a child. although some subconcious kept telling her to prepare to fight, just in case this child knew the rules and wanted to oblige. the automaton's metal fingers tightened around the handle of her axe, already loosing the hope she'd summoned earlier.

Princess hadn't expected to hear such a friendly voice. The cry of a wild animal, maybe, or a gunshot like the one that had rang in from somewhere in the distance, but not a cheerful greeting. She looked up immediately to see a kid, probably in his late teens somewhere, with an oddly calm air about him and green-dyed hair. Well, they had something in common, so maybe they didn't have to kill each other and they could bond over having colored hair? Wishful thinking. Her mind racing, she wasn't sure how to respond at first, but after a moment she uttered a surprised, "Uhh, yeah." It was a bit strange that he would approach her so willingly and ask directly about the pamphlet which had mentioned that they needed to be the only person left in order to escape. Maybe his had said something different, and this was a "there's only one liar" type of game? Again, wishful thinking from the Princess of Pittsburgh. "Sorry, I didn't expect to see a...friendly face." She apologized hastily. It was quite overwhelming, finally talking to someone else again but in a place that was somehow worse than her home. Princess hoped he would respond well to her implication that he was friendly - but, if things went downhill fast, she still had her gun right next to her. It was possible this kid was only being friendly as a facade, and had a hidden weapon of his own which he meant to use at the first chance he got - or that he planned to use her favor temporarily to gain advantages for himself.

Living in a savage post-apocalyptic world cultivated that kind of paranoid thought process. And it was wonderfully coincidental that she'd gone from one apocalypse to another - this new one was just hotter and had fewer zombies. With a deep breath, Princess sprang to her feet, swiftly tying her coat crudely around her waist and lifting the strap on her gun back to its place over her shoulder.

Eddie was still fuming slightly when the sound of speech cut into his thoughts. Already on the defensive, he whirled around and aimed his gun towards the source of the sound, but was quite taken aback by what he saw. Having never encountered one of her kind, to him she looked quite like a child. He doubted that the officiator of this game would've really cared if they had incidentally brought a child into the midst, he was merely surprised by her appearance. Her clothing was also odd - some sort of armor, it looked like, but it wasn't really masked hero material. Rather, it just looked like something that would normally be confined to a renaissance faire. And, if she knew the rules of this game, she must've been some kinda naive to beckon him. Yet he had not punished her for that naivete by firing at her; it was likely his best bet, but he was still mulling over the many ironies of his circumstances. His home world was fallow and corrupt, and this place was strangely peaceful in its emptiness (with the exception of that one hyena that had decided he looked like a viable meal). Though, he had learned to cope with all the disgusting truths of his native reality, whereas this one brought about an entirely new set of challenges. He was quite sure he could win this game; the others would get hung up on their secondhand morals and spend too much time crying about how unfair it was.

While temporarily lost in thought, Eddie realized he hadn't spoken yet. He'd simply been leering at this strange girl who appeared to be both a child and an adult at the same time, and awkwardly pointing his gun at her - in a way that anyone with the slightest knowledge of gun handling would easily identify as indicating he didn't eminently intend to shoot her. Eddie sneered, which made the scar that ran diagonally over the right side of his face seem to ripple along its full length. "You're some kinda naive, kid." He voiced his previous thoughts roughly and grimly, but with a strange undertone of awe. "But I only got so many bullets, and I already wasted one tryin' to scare off the dirty mutt that was chewing on me, so I'm gonna give you a chance to get lost." He growled, though with a gut feeling that she wouldn't take him up on that offer.

Rachel stiffened when she heard a voice call out from behind her. It seemed like a girl's voice, with a distinctive accent. She spun around to see the source of the voice. Her vacant yet bright blue eyes quickly turned their attention to the humongous, double-sided axe that the person in front of her was carrying. The blonde-haired girl instinctively took a wary step backwards, before letting her gaze slide towards the person wielding it. Rachel was no stranger to weird people. After all, she had at least four serial killers after her life before, all with the strangest of appearances and even stranger personalities. Zack, the man whom she had gone through all that ordeal with, was a 20-year-old man covered in bandages, had eyes of two different colors, and wielded a massive scythe that was incredibly heavy. However, the girl in front of her was nothing like she'd ever seen. The girl looked like a high-school girl and was dressed like one, too. She had long, pale blue hair that was tied into a ponytail. However, even when you took away that gigantic battle axe she was carrying, she would definitely still look strange. Her limbs looked mechanical, the metallic parts glinting underneath the noon sunlight. Rachel figured that it would probably be burning hot if she were to touch them in this heat. Her mechanical, white legs ended with a... red... thing, instead of shoes or even toes. The girl was also wearing some sort of metallic headpiece that stretched all the way to her ponytail. She looked more like a robot than a human, and Rachel wondered if that was the case. Her blue eyes locked with the girl's crimson ones. The child was wary of the large axe she was carrying. One blow from that thing would definitely kill her, and then she wouldn't be able to fulfill that promise of letting Zack kill her. That would upset him very much.

However, the robot-like girl didn't seem to be holding it in a threatening way. Rachel got herself ready to run at any sign the robot-girl might use that axe on her, but decided to oblige to answering the question she asked her for now. "Exie? I think so... That's what was written in the pamphlet I found," she said, in her usual emotionless voice. Her eyes stared blankly at the large battle axe that the girl was wielding. "And my name is Rachel Gardner. Who are you?" Rachel almost asked "what are you", but quickly rephrased that before the question slipped out of her mouth. She wondered how the girl was strong enough to carry around such a huge weapon, but she figured that it would be possible if she really was a robot. None of that really mattered to the blonde-haired girl, though. She was more focused on looking out for signs that she might try to kill her and preparing to run if she had to.

Rantaro took note of the woman's bold fashion statement. That bright pink, fluffy jacket was sure to attract quite the attention from whoever saw it. Her wild black hair was dyed with striking purple highlights. There was also a strange pair of goggles sitting on her head. However, the boy had no right to comment on her choices whatsoever. In fact, if anything, Rantaro had quite the bold fashion statement himself. He had green hair, and wore quite the number of accessories. His appearance had gotten quite the response from girls, some of them quite awkward. Really, he was just a person who enjoyed style, and he could appreciate the woman's bold style whatever the reason for that was. His attention, however, was quickly directed to the gun slung around her shoulders. From that, he could assume that this Exie person probably had no concerns about fairness. He was left unarmed, while this woman had a gun with her. Still, he couldn't let her know that. Not in this situation. Rantaro had to appear as if he wasn't that easy of a target. A friendly, nonchalant smile was still on his face, making it look like he wasn't wary of her weapon. He just had to remain calm and composed, like his previous situation. It was... a bit comforting to know that the woman thought he was friendly. Maybe she wouldn't attack him because of his friendliness, though it was probably too optimistic of him to think that. In a "game" like this one, there was no telling what people might do. Rantaro let out a calm laugh, putting a hand behind his head. "Mm... That's true," he said, the friendly smile never once leaving his face. "It really is quite the inconvenient situation we've been put into, huh?" With a small sigh as if he was merely disappointed, he let his hand fall back to his side. Rantaro knew that he had to continue to appear friendly and not a threat, though he couldn't make himself look like an easy target either. If anything, Rantaro was prepared to get out of here at the first sign of trouble. "Don't worry, I promise I don't mean any harm," he said, lifting his hands in a nonchalant gesture of peace. "My name is Rantaro Amami." Normally, giving one's name to a stranger would be risky, but Rantaro figured that there was nothing she could do with it anyways. Besides, it was essential to convince her that he wasn't a bad guy, since she had the upper hand weapon-wise.

"So, do you have any idea how you got here?" Rantaro asked, still remaining as friendly as ever. He assumed that she probably wouldn't. That would be far too convenient, and if she did, she would probably be looking for ways to get out instead of reading a weird pamphlet underneath a tree. There was no harm in asking, though.

Sali||Halfling||D&D||Tagged: Eddie
Sali blinked, both taken aback by the man's rudeness and intrigued by his weapon. He said it used bullets, so it had to be some sort of slingshot, but where was the sling? She didn't see any cords, and the device looked too small to have them on the inside. Perhaps it was magically propelled? A miniaturized magefire cannon, of sorts? It couldn't be too terribly powerful if that was the case, it was probably more of a bluff than anything else. Still, better safe than sorry. From within her runearm, Sali's fingers flexed, her body shimmering ever so softly as she cast an Ablative Armor spell on herself. It wasn't anywhere near her strongest armor augment, but it would be more than sufficient for whatever that little thing could throw.

"You wouldn't have happened to see a druid around here, would you?" The halfling asked, brushing the man's brusque demeanor aside. Human, eagle feather robe, likes fireworks, about...yea high?" Sali stood up on her tip-toes, raising her hand as high above her as she could to simulate Alfie's height. It wasn't quite accurate, but it was the best she could do, under the circumstances. "I seem to have lost most of my supplies, you see, and I was hoping he'd have some." Or, failing that, he could probably make some. Goodberries weren't her favorite thing in the world to eat, but they were better than nothing. Better than some things, certainly, though the taste did start to wear if one ate them too often.

Klaus Baudelaire/tags:

This was the most unfortunate situation he's ever been in. Being hypnotized, nearly falling off a high mountain, and losing his parents seemed more like a pleasant party with lots of laughing children and ponies. At least then he had his sisters around, along with a chance to flee. Now he was stuck in a horrible wasteland where surely there was someone or something out to kill him. He felt tears fall down his face. "W..will I ever get out of here alive?" He thought to himself. He took a deep breath. "I guess I just need to survive.." He muttered to himself, as he attempted to hold back tears. After glancing around to make sure nobody was stalking him like a wolf, he began to walk.

Deidara

Male/19/Naruto Shippuden/Tags: -

The air seemed oddly humid as it brushed over Deidara's face, and to add to the strange things he could feel, there appeared to be an odd weight on his chest. In a half-conscious state, he tried to push off the weight, never actually thinking of what it was. He didn't notice that the iguana sat on him had it's mouth open in a fully threatening manner when his hand approached. He felt sharp teeth latch onto his hand, which startled him.
Deidara immediately sat up, knocking the reptile off balance and causing it to bite harder. It was biting dangerously close to his hand mouth, which would take a long time to recover from. He noticed the wall behind him and swiped his wrist backwards and into the wall, hitting the iguana and making the reptile release and immediately run away. A small relief washed over him as he checked the wound. His mouth was not damaged, and he managed to get it off of him before the large iguana could bite any further into his hand. The bite seemed to be clean, and relatively shallow. Deidara slowly stood up, careful not to touch the wound. He looked around the area. The walls were evidently worn down, and the interior seemed completely abandoned. He noticed a pamphlet by his feet and picked it up with his undamaged hand, reading it slowly.
”Exie? Gladiatorial combat? Why me?” He wondered, a certain, deep hatred for this unknown figure building.
This was certainly not artistic at all. As he continued reading, he reached the part about Savage. He immediately placed a thin, rectangular section of clay over the wounds to help stop bacteria from reaching it. There would certainly be other diseases around, and all of them wouldn’t be good to catch.
The heat washed over his face again, noticing what he was wearing. He was still in his Akatsuki uniform, which although would make him uncomfortable in this heat, could be helpful for making a fire if the weather began to change. (While not making an explosion, which would draw attention to him very quickly.) Luckily he had awoken in the shade, and not exposed to the glaring sun outside. If it was hot in this worn down building with shade everywhere, how would it feel outside?

    Miu Iruma//DRV3//Tags: Stinger
"Ugh..." The first thing that Miu noticed when she awoke was that it was hot. It wasn't just hot, it was sweltering. Whatever she was laying on was uncomfortable and her back felt stiff. She opened her eyes, only to immediately close them when she was greeted by the bright sun directly above her. Sitting up, she opened her eyes again, blinking and trying to get accustomed to the brightness. She looked around, taking in her surroundings. There was so much vegetation that Miu would have thought she were in a jungle if it weren't for the buildings all around her. The buildings were all tattered and rundown and covered in vines and various other plants. She didn't know where she was, but this certainly wasn't the Ultimate Academy.

But if this wasn't the Ultimate Academy...then where was she? Was this Monokuma's doing? That didn't make much sense, as Miu couldn't think of a reason why he would send her here, but how else did she get here? She didn't know where she was, and had no recollection of how she got here. Feeling something on her hand, Miu looked down. A tarantula was standing on her hand. Miu squeaked and scooted away from it, causing the Tarantula to scurry off. Once the tarantula was out of sight, Miu noticed a pamphlet of sorts sitting in the dirt. She tentatively picked it up and started skimming through it. She was in...a game of sorts. A killing game like the one she just came from, but in this case their was no limits. She didn't have to kill someone and cover up the murder to escape. She just had to be the last one standing. Was this some kind of joke?

Swearing under her breath, Miu didn't bother going past the first page. She crumpled the pamphlet and shoved into her skirt pocket before standing up and brushing off any dirt that clung to her pink uniform. If she was here, maybe someone she knew was here. Maybe there was someone who knew what was going on. She stomped through the trees, coming onto a gravelly street. Down the street she saw a young man walking, his back to her. He seemed to be holding...a spear? Where did he get that? She also noticed that he had what looked like a scorpion tail. She's never seen a person with a tail before, so she didn't think it was real. She's seen people wearing those cat tail accessories, she wondered if this tail was something like that. "Hey, you!" She shouted, trying to get his attention.

Azura knew that something was wrong the moment she woke up. It was hot, she could feel the sun's rays beating down on her. She slowly opened her golden eyes and sat up, trying to make sense of her surroundings. There were all sorts of plants around her, many of which she has never seen before. She could hear the chattering of birds and other animals up in the trees above her. A few feet away from her a very small, deerlike animal stared at her, only to run away once it realized that Azura was looking at it. Just where was she?

She brushed a hand through her long hair, trying to remember how she got here. No matter how hard she thought, nothing came to mind. Her mind was blank. She couldn't remember. The last thing she remembered was going to sleep in her room. She didn't recognize her surroundings. Hoshido didn't have vegetation like this, and Nohr was never this hot. She wondered if she had been kidnapped, but if so, why was she dumped here? She finally noticed a pamphlet on the ground next to her. She picked it up and carefully read it, only to be more confused. She and others were trapped here in a "gladiatorial combat" game of sorts. It came with a survivor guide, describing the various plants, animals, and some sickness dubbed 'SAVAGE'. Azura carefully read over the pamphlet a second time before standing up, picking up her staff which she also found laying next to her.

She didn't like the sound of this game, and didn't really know what she was supposed to do now. So, she started walking straight, hoping that if she kept walking, she would eventually walk into something. She's only taken a few steps when she heard footsteps up ahead, and a young boy came into view. Oh, there's someone else. He looks...very young though. She thought. "Hello." She greeted him. "Do you know where we are?"

Klaus felt a little bit relived when he found a friendly face. He turned around, his body still tense. "I'm afraid not." He sighed. "I wish I did though, than I could eventually find my way back home.." For a moment he thought about his sisters. Than the boy decided to actually introduce himself. "I am Klaus Baudelaire. I would ask how you were doing, but I suppose you are as confused as I am."
