Phoenix Quill | Male | Location: The Streets of New York | Tags: Alena, Negasi
“And it had only been several years ago since I was last here...” Phoenix ponders, listening to the explanation. He counted himself lucky that barely anyone on Earth knew him, or would be able to recognise him, so he’d be able to mostly get away and pretend to be normal. Though, from the sound of things, it was a lot worse than it looked. Especially if somewhere most knew little about was offering refuge for the Superheroes. Alena commented about how she heard that Earth was peaceful, and then he nods. “A lot changes in several years. When I was last on Earth, nothing this bad was happening. It was just a minor thing here or there that got delt with pretty easily”
Daithi Maximoff | Male | Location: A Cafe | Tags: Christine, Oliver
Apparently she didn’t know about it. So, while he knew very little, he’d have to get her up to speed on it, before she ends up causing a mess. “It... It might?” Daithi glances back to his drink, taking a sip to give himself time to work out what to say. “Because of the other Earth Superheroes causing mess while defeating Villains, the government decided to capture, or maybe recruit, any super-powers individuals... I’ve not taken part in anything so I’m still under the radar, but your appearances alone will get you noticed by them...” he looks back to her, glancing past her only to see if the person he thought might be Oliver was still there. “I... I’m Daithi...” he then decided it would be best to get introductions out of the way as well. If they ended up on the same side, fighting against most of the Earth’s governments, they’d need to be able to recognise each other... Not like Daithi would be able to fight, anyway, because he was too nervous. This wasn’t something he wanted to be involved with, either, but he knew he’d end up being caught out in the end, no matter what happened.
Aittor Lokison | Male | Location: The Library | Tags: James
Aittor was glad that his talking made the other person calm down, not be ready to attack at any second. That helped him to stay calm and not try anything stupid. “Energy manipulation? I’ve not heard that term before” he comments, “Though it might be because I don’t hang around the people who can do that sort of thing” hopefully James knew what he was referring to. When James introduces himself, Aittor looks around, waving a hand slightly. before saying “Now I know we can’t be heard by prying ears... My last name is Lokison, that should just about sum up what I can do” and then he holds his hands out, teleporting Andesine, a cat, into them “The teleportation is just an extension of my illusions. That’s all. There’s some telekinesis if I’m annoyed, and then the main thing I can do. Shapeshifting” he then makes Andesine vanish, sending her home, before looking back up at James. “Just a demonstration” Aittor tells him, and then he makes himself look like James via the shapeshifting. “Down to the voice, as well”. Yes, he WAS showing sone he had just met the basis of what he could do, but Aittor knew that he’d still have the upper-hand in a fight, anyway, as he had plenty of tricks up his sleeves. Plus, he had already placed some trust in James, having sensed that the sorcerer, or whatever he called it, wasn’t working with anyone who would be a danger. Or maybe it was because magic users didn’t show up that often. Aittor considered it magic, anyway, because that was how he saw it.
